“Maggie is very kind, knowledgeable, and respectful toward animals (and humans!) She gave excellent care to our two kitties and truly went above and beyond with their care. She checked in, sent updates. and pictures everyday, which were much appreciated. I felt very calm knowing she was there while we’ve been away. Would highly recommend her for your pet care needs!”

“I love the care and detail she includes. We always get a few photos of the pets, and she records the pee breaks, poop stops, and water breaks which is really nice!”

“Ciara was awesome. I felt comfortable overseas knowing Freya was in good hands. Ciara took care of everything and even developed a bond with Freya. I'd be excited to use Ciara again in the future.”
“This was my first time using Rover, and Lauran made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. She kept me updated daily with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She truly went above and beyond when any issues came up. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Bayley did a great job with all 3 of our dogs! She came over in the morning for breakfast; as we needed help because our reg dog-sitter's schedule changed. She jumped right in and was very flexible! Def will use Bayley again!!”

“This is my 5th or 6th time using Liz. Every time she sends good pictures and her communication is great! Fast responses, clear pictures and happy dogs every time. I don’t recommend giving short notices if you don’t have to but my job is last minute demanding and she’s been the best at responding last minute.”

“Erin did a great job, even picking up last minute with our 4 fur babies during Derby 🐎 week. Both dogs and cats were well taken care of, she even brought packages in for us. We received multiple daily photos along with the written updates and felt every thing was under control. Highly recommend, and hope to be able to use Erin again when the need arises.”

“Kaitlyn was amazing! She came over and met our pup beforehand and he got to know her. We did 3 drop in visits and it worked out perfectly for our weekend getaway. Communication was excellent - she updated us with pictures and really made us feel that our pup was safe and secure. Can’t wait to book her for our next getaway! Thank you again!”

“Eleanor watched my kitty while I was away and she was amazing!!! Always communicated what was going on and sent me pictures each day to update me! I will rebook her anytime I need a pet sitter, I highly recommend working with her! 😊”

“We highly recommend Olivia! She has taken care of our babies several times now. She is definitely our go-to when we need someone. Do not hesitate to hire her!”

“Donai was exceptional! I knew when she came to meet Alice and Hank and she got on the floor to meet them, and asked for some treats to win them over, that she had already won over my approval. She gave me daily updates and daily pictures. It made me so happy on my trip to both see them, and also see that they were being well cared for and loved. Would definitely book Donai again!!”

“We were very happy with William and our cat Toasty was too! William was quick to respond to the booking request and other communications. Our cat warmed up to him right away and he sent several pictures of them hanging out. Would definitely book with him in the future :)”

About: I've owned dogs (and cats!) for 15+ years and have experience with many different types; hunting dogs, small house dogs, massive house dogs, and much in between. I am a responsible caretaker and give the utmost care to each animal I'm asked to watch over. I once adopted a kitten that was handed to me by a stranger, while on a run. I've house sat with a 175 great dane and been the lucky caregiver of a sweet geriatric prince named Chicago, who had more kitty tummy problems than your ex with IBS. My day job is by contract, so my schedule is often flexible. I have an Australian Cattle Dog-mix-tripod-angel baby- named Scarlet and her worker dog genes keep me active, so I am intimately acquainted with the necessity of regular activity and bathroom breaks. I have a fenced in backyard as well as a gated basement to help keep the animals in safe areas. My dog is very friendly and curious, so I would make sure all parties feel safe before accepting in-my-home stays. Services outside my home are catered to the client's comfort level.
About: ***PREFER LONG STAYS, ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR STAYS*** I’ve been a professional dogsitter through Rover for about three years! I’ve travelled all over the world loving on different kinds of critters, including my own childhood dog and one I adopted in Myanmar. I approach dogsitting with an open mind and a laid back attitude. I like to prioritize communication with my clients so they know their fur friends are safe and happy! I have a thorough list of questions to make sure that clients and I are on the same page about expectations! And I openly encourage questions from others. I love long stays where I can be comfy with pets, but I consider whatever comes my way. I just moved to Louisville and would love to get to know the area through taking care of your fam ❤️ I have one of my own recently, so I prefer them to meet before overnight stays, but I can deal in a pinch. Mine is quite friendly and I don’t like to host more than one other at a time! I like to stay booked as much as possible, but I just started a new job here and things are a bit chaotic. I have a preference for longer stays but will consider what comes my way. I try to keep my schedule updated as much as I can! So please reach out to schedule a chat or meet and greet! I do not plan to provide home services, but I am happy to give pets love at your house! I am pretty flexible on location.
About: Taking care of pets is not just a responsibility—it’s my passion! Whether it’s long walks, fun playtime, or lots of cuddles, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I have a hybrid work schedule that lets me work remotely half the week. On the days I go into the office, typically Monday through Wednesday, I can easily return home during lunch since my office is just a few minutes away. I have a cozy home with a fenced-in patio and it’s located just minutes away from several beautiful parks. At home, I share my space with my sweet cat, Nagini. If needed, I’m happy to keep your pet comfortably separate to ensure everyone feels safe and at ease.
Camp Taylor pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ava was absolutely incredible caring for our two dogs! From the moment I met her, it was clear how responsible, and genuinely loving she is with animals. One of our dogs requires medication, and Ava handled everything flawlessly—she was consistent, careful, and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Ava kept us updated with messages and photos. Both dogs were happy, calm, and clearly well cared for when we returned. Ava went above and beyond and I’m so grateful we found her.

Katelyn was very thorough in making sure she was prepared to sit Gusty and knew all of his needs ahead of time. She made the process incredibly easy for me and was very communicative and demonstrated that she genuinely cared about Gusty. I would gladly rebook in the future.

Highly recommend Chris! He was a last-minute lifesaver to my two kittens. After our initial meeting I felt very confident and safe leaving him to check-in on them. And as expected, he did nothing but provide the exact care and regular correspondence I had hoped for. Thanks Chris!

First time Rover user - and boy am I glad I booked with Becca. Becca was absolutely wonderful for Walker’s first Rover stay! From the start, her communication was excellent, which made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. Knowing Walker was in such good hands gave me total peace of mind. You can tell she genuinely cares and treats the animals she watches like her own. The best part was getting pictures of Walker in the middle of my workday — it completely made my day and reassured me that he was happy, comfortable, and having a great time.I’m so grateful for the care she gave him and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend Becca to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive!

Jessica did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs while we were away. One dog is nervous around new people and pretty much anybody who isn’t us, and that in turn makes our other dog anxious as well. Jessica was gentle, resourceful, and creative in managing them and their drop-in visits. She also communicated well with us, so we felt our dogs were safe and in good hands. Thank you!

Adeline was absolutely superb!! She watched my 3 cats while I was away getting married and I had absolutely 0 worries while they were in her care. She would send updates/pics daily and let me know of any issues right away and was even able to do medications for one of my fussy guys; would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter!
