About: I’ve lived with and have cared for both dogs and cats since I was little, and currently have 1 dog at home. I have experience handling leash reactive dogs, and have learned from trainers on how to handle situations while out walking. I am currently in between jobs so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to walk dogs. I can walk dogs anywhere from 9 a.m up to 3 p.m. I have a fully fenced yard that overlooks a babbling creek. There is plenty of room to run around outside and play ball. When caring for dogs i make sure there is lots of play time with different toys and games that stimulate a dogs brain as well as lots of cozy space for a dog rest.

“Celeste is wonderful. We had met and already agreed to a three night pet sit later in the month, and some weekend walks with Duchess so they could get better acquainted before the overnights. Then I sprained my ankle and my wife's lower back went out. Celeste on very short notice stepped up by taking Duchess for unscheduled neighborhood walks so we could rest and recover. Two walks in now and Celeste and Duchess have clearly bonded. Duchess is a totally happy love bucket who thinks every person is her friend, but she responds best to people who are naturally relaxed and comfortable around pups while being the loving person in charge. About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). Most of my friends have dogs or cat or both, so I took care of them many times while they were traveling. I have experience with a wide range of dog breeds from Chihuahuas, over various Terriers, Poodles, Pitbulls, Frenchies, Maltese, Newfoundlander, German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Labradoodles, to Great Pyrenees. Observing dogs and their behavior has always been of great interest to me. If you let them in your bed, without fail, they will all take you up on the offer. ☺️✨️ My heart also belongs to cats, I've had them and been surrounded by them since childhood. They've shown me the joys of connecting deeply with the feline guardians. About: I have experience with pet sitting for friends and neighbors over the past year along with having had all different breeds of dogs growing up and enjoy their company. I love to go for walks, hikes, the beach and would love to take your dog with me. I've had to give senior dogs medication and look after them. I know how hard it is to trust someone to watch your fur baby when your away and I'm that person and I will treat them like royalty. I am home everyday at 1:00. I am ready to take your dog with me on a walk or hike. If they staying with me or I pick them up for a walk or hike. Your dog will have access to a dog run area all day long. I have a house with a large fenced in yard and your dog will have complete access to outside at all times. At this time I don't have a dog of my own, so there will be no conflict between dogs. I want your dog to feel at home as much possible.

About: We have a large, fenced in, secure yard with lots of exciting smells and places to explore. Plenty of room inside our home as well, plus we both work from home, so your pet will never be left alone. My husband has been the manager of a farm at a children's summer camp for a number of years that has dogs, chickens, goats pigs and more. We’re both comfortable with administering any medications your pet might need. We work from home and have a very flexible schedule. Your pet won’t be left alone. We’d love to make connections so we have returning visitors! We’ve got a fenced in yard with lots of exciting smells and places to explore. We’ve also got two of our own friendly dogs who are happy to share their space.

About: Hello, my name is Dawn and I love pets. I grew up with cats but over the last 20 years I have had dogs. They have been a part of my life since. I have raised pugs from puppies and had the joy of adopting an older daschund mix that I receive from the local shelter. I currently taking care of a frenchie now. I am very attentive to my dogs. They are a part of my family. They get fresh water and healthy food during the day. I walk then often and give them tons of TLC. I would treat your doggies the same way that I would treat mine. I live in Santa Cruz County. I enjoy taking walks in nature and would share that joy with yours dogs for an afternoon/ evening stroll. I understand that pets are part of a family and their daily needs should be met as part of anyone else's day. I will take care of your pets as the owner would want. About: I grew up with dogs, starting at the age of seven! I have learned so much in those years about how to responsibly care for dogs, while making them feel comfortable and loved. One of our family dogs was diagnosed with diabetes, so I am very comfortable giving insulin if that is something you need. After almost 18 years of living with dogs, I've also become comfortable giving eye drops, pills, etc. Aside from dogs, I have had hamsters and guinea pigs and was responsible for the entirety of their care. I also worked for an exotic veterinarian for 1 year. While I did not work with dogs but this position, it increased my confidence when it comes to working with animals in general. I now have my own dog, Remi. He has been a challenge but so wonderful. I feel confident working with very high energy dogs as I now have so much experience with one! He has inspired me to learn as much as I can about dog behavior and body language. I feel confident in support dogs and offering affection, as well as respecting their boundaries. If your dog is friendly and I am taking them for a walk, I’d love to bring my guy along but it’s not necessary! I am currently available every day of the week except Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. If you have need on those days, I may be able to work in the later afternoon/ early evening! I will give lots of attention! I understand that people use rover when they have to be gone for an extended period of time. So I feel it is important to make sure that I am giving your dog as much attention and love as possible.
