“Bria was AMAZING!! We needed a super last minute sitter for our cat and tortoise & she did not hesitate to help. She updated me throughout her time watching them and sent the cutest pictures. I’m a ball of anxiety when it comes to my pets and she was so understanding & reassuring. She took great care of our pets while we were away and we look forward to using her again in the near future. Thank you, Bria!! You are the best!! 💗💗💗💗”

“Tiffany was great! The pups loved her and they were well cared for. We got lots of pictures and updates with every check-in. We will definitely use her again.”

“Jesse was great and took the best care of our cats. She of course fed them and cleaned the litter boxes but she also made sure to sit, play, and chat to the kitties as well. They barely missed me when I got home so I know they had great company. Thank you Jesse!”

“Makya did an incredible job caring for my pups. She took care of them and helped get their energy out while I was gone for long work days. I strongly recommend Makya as a Rover.”

“Jennifer is the most amazing person we could’ve booked to take care of our dogs while we were away. She went above and beyond to care for them and to make sure they were comfortable. We felt so at ease knowing they were in good hands. Our dogs love her, and we are so thankful! 100000000/10”

“Jessica was truly a gem! She kept me updated with details and adorable photos from every visit, which gave me such peace of mind. Her quick communication and attentive care—especially for my special needs pup—meant the world to me. I’m so grateful we found her and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and reliable pet sitter.”

About: I have cared for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have recently had the chance to take care of a dog with heart failure, medication administration and diet monitoring. I am currently a student, all of my classes are online which allows me the opportunity to sit, and walk pets all throughout the day. My goal would be to care for your pet as you do to minimize your baby being effected by your absence. I will take care of them as if they are my own.

“Haydyn was awesome with our 2 cats, this only being their 2nd night ever without us here constantly. She gave them the companionship they needed most, & with her patience and persistence with them, they warmed up to her quickly! She took time to get them to play, their favorite thing. She kept usbup to date so se had great time without worrying about them. We will definitely be calling on Haydyn again!”

“Zaina was amazing! So conscientious, both of my cats (including the usually very shy one) loved her which just goes to show what a calming sweet presence she is. Kept me up to date with lots of photos, would definitely book again and would highly recommend her to anyone else!”

“Chante is an absolute gem! My cats were happy and healthy upon on our return. She went above and beyond by sweeping up litter and cardboard scratcher mess that my cats made. I was so relieved when I came home to a house in the exact condition that I left it. I will absolutely be requesting her services again!”

“She was great with the cats, and so communicative and sweet! Would highly recommend and will be rebooking with her for sure next time I go on a trip. Thanks Kimmie and kids!”

About: I have experience in the boarding kennel field for almost 10 years now and grooming for about 4 years. I can administer medicines and I’m not afraid to clean up messes after your fur babies. I have worked with big breed and small breeds and everything in between! No pup has ever scared me away from this field of work! I have 4 dogs of my own, from a Cane Corso to a small Lab mix with two Pitbulls in between. I love going on walks probably just as much as your fur baby. I can spend time with your pups Thursday - Friday 8:30 am to 2 pm and Friday to Sunday 8:30 to whenever you need. Every other day during the week I am spending time with my daughter while she’s out of school and my husband when he is home from work! If my schedule is conflicting with the times you pick, we can try and work around it. So hopefully we can work something out. I am flexible with whatever you or your fur baby will need. Even if its a belly rub... (For the pup haha) I cant wait to meet you and your pups! I sadly do not have the space for boarding your fur babies at my own home as I already have 4 fur babies myself and a toddler. But in your own home, I will follow every rule or instruction you provide and give them my full attention!

I’m also experienced in helping pets with fear and anxiety, including breeds like Bullies, and Labs who are afraid of thunderstorms. Trust in me to provide loving, attentive care for your pets, keeping them happy, healthy, and content. I strive to keep routines consistent to minimize stress for your pets. Beyond pet care, I can help with tasks like taking in the mail, and watering plants.
“Just the best! Alison was so great with my dogs. I have 4 large dogs and she welcomed the licks and jumps from them all like a champ! She sent frequent updates on all the dogs along with pictures and videos, played with them during her visit, and even ran my roomba before I came home to help keep the dog hair to a minimum. Will definitely keep in mind for future trips!”

About: RN and ex-vet tech :) Excellent with dogs and cats, of all breeds, and competent to provide the necessary care for "special needs pets". Excellent trainer if any is needed or any advice. We will enjoy long walks on trails or around your neighborhood. My own animals are completely trained and get along with farm or other domestic animals. I am extremely active and like to keep pets that way too! My house is loaded with fun toys for both cats and dogs. I love to give baths and nail trims, for willing babies. I hope to spend time with your babies soon! Currently taking a break from full-time working and only work PRN as an ICU RN, so I have a lot of free time :) Prefer to take your babies on walks and help them get their exercise, but also happy to follow whatever routine you want! My own animals are very spoiled and loved. They get the maximum amount of cuddles and playtime I can give them, and I want to give that to your babies as well :)

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 536 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Cameron. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cameron. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
