“We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter than Alexis! Our dogs absolutely loved her, and it was clear they got plenty of playtime and attention. Alexis went above and beyond to make sure they were happy, exercised, and well cared for. We got frequent updates, which gave us peace of mind, and it was obvious our pups were having a blast. If you’re looking for someone who truly loves animals and will treat your pets like their own, Alexis is the perfect choice. We’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Angelia was amazing with our fur babies! She was punctual, made sure to keep us constantly updated, and followed all instructions we provided. She provided peace of mind and we were able to enjoy and relax during our trip because of her. We came home to happy and healthy pups and I would definitely recommend her!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Chloe! She took great care of our dog and two cats while we were away and gave us total peace of mind. She sent frequent pictures and check-ins, which we really appreciated, and it was clear our pets were happy and well cared for. We would absolutely recommend her and would love to have her sit for us again!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life taken care of then. I currently have 2 year old pug and we go to the dog park almost every day. Milo, my current dog is the most spoiled dog. I know I cook his food so he can be nice and healthy and his coat can be nice and shiny and soft And take the time out to make sure that he gets all his Zumiez out So I currently work for T-Mobile typically work around seven hours a day, but I still have a Lotta free time before and after depending on the day. I still manage to take my little Pug on numerous, walks into the dog park every day, and typically free on the weekends all day. Honestly, I love dogs so I will treat your dog like It’s my own, I do require all animals have updated shots and car seat belts as Milo and I often go on car rides and to the dog park… also if your dog is not neutered or spayed that is fine but please inform me prior so I can book accordingly, I do have pee pads for dogs who aren’t potty trained although most young puppies are easy to tech when a older dog is present.
“Jade is AMAZING! She watched our two cats and dog while we were away. She sent the best pictures of our fur babies everyday. Kept us updated and is great with response time. We definitely will be choosing Jade again in the future. I highly recommend having her!”

“Leaving our three boys—Hunter, Hudson, and Adolph—is never easy, but Olivia made it so much easier than we ever imagined. From the very beginning, it was obvious she genuinely loves animals. She cared for our boys with kindness, patience, and affection, and knowing they were safe, comfortable, and loved while we were away gave us tremendous peace of mind. There is simply no substitute for that feeling. She also took wonderful care of our home, stayed in touch with thoughtful updates, and made us feel connected even while we were away. When we returned, our boys were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for—the best welcome home we could have asked for. We were so impressed with Olivia that, while she was caring for our dogs, I recommended her to one of my dearest friends without hesitation. Trust is earned, and Olivia earned ours completely. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and will love your pets as if they were her own, look no further. We are incredibly grateful for Olivia and will absolutely be asking her to stay with Hunter, Hudson, and Adolph again. She is truly a gem.”

“Hannah was fantastic! She communicated with me the whole time. She kept me updated and sent lots of pictures! She responded quickly to messages, even before the booking. She really cares about peoples pets. I will definitely be using her again!”

About: Update: I will not be available May 18-25, and Jun 2-14 I love dogs!! I've fostered many dogs and volunteered at many shelters. I've had seniors and even fostered one with spina bifida. My first two loves were English Bulldogs. I have lots of experience with them and know that smooshy face breeds are much more delicate than other breeds. I absolutly love them! I'm not good with extremely energtic dogs, but can handle anything else. I am semi-retired. I currently work part time on Friday and Sundays with an occasional third day, so I am home a lot. I have plenty of time to devote to your pooch. In my home, I care for your pet just as I care for mine. Of course, with your direction implemented also. I do have a pool, so I will need to know how your dog is around pools, or if they have zero experience with pools, I will need to know that as well.
“Aaron was absolutely amazing caring for our 3 doggies for 9 days. We were super nervous to leave them, but Aaron made us feel stress free. He was super communicative with morning, afternoon, and nighttime check-ins with pictures and how they spent their days. He went above and beyond, even cleaning, washing the linens, and leaving a delicious blueberry breakfast treat. He was exceptional. Our dogs loved him and he will definitely be our go-to person from now on.”

About: I"ve been a dog (all sizes), cat, and reptile momma since I was 13. I am seasoned at giving medications if needed and loving on your fur babies (if they allow it). I recently lost my Sadie, she was almost 13. I'm hoping this will help me fill that void while I process the grief. I will gladly reinforce your training and care routine. I have a lot of flexibility being semi-retired to meet your pet care needs. I can help in a pinch but prefer schedules. I have experience with not just drugs and cats but reptiles as well. In caring for your pet I will do so with the utmost respect and care, not only for your pet but your abode as well.

So you can feel sure your pets won’t get too sad or lonely. (:

He eats and goes out on time, and then he just relaxes ! I will make sure everything is put back in the right place, clean up after myself and the dogs. I treat it like it’s mine.
“Linda was so attentive to Max. She walked him, played with him and knew just what to do to get him to eat his food. We were out of town at a wedding and she sent us pics of our dog while at the dog park, eating all his food and cuddling on the couch. She was on time, responsive and dependable. Cannot wait to use her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Camden
Angelina was absolutely wonderful with our two senior dogs, Scout and Rue. Caring for elderly dogs isn’t always easy, and she handled every challenge with patience, kindness, and genuine compassion. Throughout the stay she provided thoughtful updates, lots of photos, and reached out whenever she had a question instead of making assumptions. She adapted their walks to Scout’s energy level, handled several accidents without complaint, and adjusted to needs by paying close attention to their behavior. What impressed me most was how much she genuinely cared about them. It was obvious she got to know each dog’s personality. Knowing they were loved instead of simply watched gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. She also treated our home with respect, communicated exceptionally well, and went above and beyond in countless small ways. We would gladly book Angelina again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy sitter.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Camden walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Camden maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Camden choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Camden. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
