“Nikki did a terrific job with my three cats while we were away for 5 days. They are all very hesitant around new people, but she worked hard to earn their trust. It was so nice to get the daily updates and pictures from her drop ins. Made me feel so much better knowing all was well with my kitties!”

“Elisabeth was the best. It was so hard being away from the girls this long for the first time ever. But Elisabeth made it easier. She care for my dogs and communicated regularly. I would highly recommend Her to everyone looking for a caring pet sitter!”

“Brittany was great! I have an ‘odd’ cat who is pretty shy, and I let her know up-front that she may not see my cat while I was gone. On the very last day, my cat was seen at the window as Brittany pulled out... which is saying A LOT! Peanut (my cat) is a tough but to crack... so the fact that she came out at all is fantastic! Everything was taken care of (and then some) while I was away... which was much appreciated!”

“This was my first River experience and Camille made it an excellent one! I needed late night help over the weekend at the last second and Camille was quick to respond. I truly appreciated her taking time out of her weekend nights to come meet and care for our dog! I appreciated that she sent pictures and gave me updates on how the visits went (although I’m sure that’s part of the Rover process). We will definitely be using her down the road!”

“Alysha is the best! This has been a busy out of town season for us as we travel frequently to watch our daughter compete at college swim meets. Alysha has been there for us and we could not be more thankful for her care of Lola while we are away.”

“Hayley is awesome! She treated our cats exactly as we would have treated them - with kindness and gentleness. She spent some extra time petting them and getting to know them even though we had only asked for drop in visits. We would have her take care of them again in a heartbeat!”

About: I’ve loved animals since I can remember. I am full time online veterinary technician school, white working in a vet clinic. I also work as a veterinary assistant at a vet clinic. I have six pets three rabbits who live in a separate room, two cats, and one dog. I have a big heart for animals in need and animal rights so when possible I try help re-home animals in need of a different environment and a more suitable life. My first priority when watching a pet is making sure all their needs are met and they are as relaxed and comfortable as possible. If they’re happy I’m happy. . . . I currently work full time, 4 10 hour days. I am able to stop in before and after work and if close enough I can stop in during my lunch break. I live in the lower half of a house three bedroom with an unfenced yard. All my pets are friendly, house broken, and my dog is trained.

About: I have 15+ years of professional pet care experience through shelter, boarding, dog daycare and rescue experience. I previously managed a large scale, highly awarded facility in Madison. I can offer a vast amount of knowledge to make sure your pet not only has a great time while you are away but also is safe and well card for. I offer walks and drop in visits most days of the week. I currently have week day availability Tuesday - Thursday 2pm or later and any time Friday - Sundays. Walks can be in your own neighborhood, at a nearby trail location of your choosing or off leash at my rural home in our 1.75 acre fenced in yard. (Additional travel fees may apply for locations other than your home.) Your pup will come home tired from not only physical exercise but also from mental stimulation as I will encourage them to use their sniffer and their brain with basic obedience. I also offer a limited amount of Pet Sitting services in customer homes only. I am not able to sleepover in customer homes due to having pets/children of my own but can offer house sitting on a drop in basis and make multiple, extended visits to your home daily at your preferred times. I look forward to meeting your and your pet! I work a part time job Monday - Thursday. Pet sitting clients must be okay with a 7 hour day those days, but other days are much shorter. At our meet and greet we will discuss safety protocols for getting your pet inside and outside safety as well as ensure they have a collar/harness setup that is secure for walks.

About: We have over 20 collective years of pet caring experience and currently have a 5 year old Bichon, August, that we love to spoil. We adopted our 14 year old poodle, Scrappy, from a local shelter. So, we have plenty of senior dog experience, in case your baby takes medication daily. We understand the concern of leaving your pet at a kennel as we, like many others, have had bad experiences in the past. We just moved into our new home and have plenty of room for your fur baby. Our community is very pet friendly and has a huge dog park where your dog can run around with other dogs, play on the agility course or relax in the shade under one of the many trees. Not only will we take your pooch out regularly, but we will send pictures frequently. We will treat your dog like it's our own! We both look forward to taking care of your dog!

About: My family and I truly enjoy watching other family’s animals. It allows us to help families not worry about their pets when they are not able to take care of them. I’m a full time teacher, so I have quite a bit of flexibilities during the summer time. I am available to board during the school year as well. I am available after 3:30 to tend to animals during the school year. I have a fenced in back yard and take our own dog for a walk daily. We have one dog, 2 cats, and one hamster. They are all very friendly.

“Carole was wonderful and accommodated a last minute request. She came when she said she would and didn’t just let the dog out, she spent time with him (and his furry kitty brother). We will gladly use Carole again and so appreciate this service!”

“Maggie is very responsive, friendly, and compassionate about animals. She took great care of my babies, and made this dog Mom feel at ease leaving my new puppy for a couple of hours. Highly recommend Maggie :).”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father was a German Sheppard breeder when I was growing up. I was always hands on when helping with the puppies, ensuring that we helped raise good family dogs. I was a supervisor at a large doggy daycare and boarding facility until recently when I decided to branch off. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I currently have 3 wonderful dogs of my own and foster kittens when with my husband when we are needed. I will always treat your fur baby with the same love, care, and patience as I do my own. After all, I wouldn’t expect anything less than that for my babies.

Robin B.
“Robin has a great deal of dog experience and is a very kind, responsible, and conscientious person. She worked at the Humane Society for several years, and then at a large doggie day care and boarding facility. She has fostered many dogs and puppies for Paddy’s Paws, which is an excellent dog rescue organization. Robin is very knowledgeable about dog psychology and health and she treats every dog with compassion and respect. She is one of the very few people I would trust to care for my own dogs and I give her the highest recommendation.”

Sergio & Shannon D.
“I highly recommend Shannon and Sergio as dog caregivers. They are loving yet set boundaries for the dogs. When living in the same apartment complex, they were always willing to help with neighbor's pets. I fully trust them to treat my dog as their own.”

Julie G.
“Julie is a very kindhearted, animal loving, active person who would take wonderful care of your fur baby. I have known Julie for many years and she volunteers to help people in need whenever she can. I trust her wholeheartedly with my three kitties. Her only reason for becoming a pet caregiver is to help people in need, who find it difficult to travel or be away due to worry for their pets. Your pet would be in good hands with Julie.”

Stephanie S.

“Stephanie was wonderful to work with, even navigating my ever changing schedule, last minute adjustments as to what days to let the dogs out.”

Natalie H.

“Love Natalie and Rocko does too. Will always recommend!”

Samantha R.
“Sammy and I worked together for about a year at a large doggy daycare and boarding kennel. Sammy is a huge animal lover and is incredible empathetic to dogs' needs. She was always the first to let management know if a dog was sick, injured, etc. and did everything she could to try to make them feel better. She is also well-versed in dog body language and in supervising play with multiple dogs. Sammy is great at communication with dogs and their owners. She has pets of her own, so she understands what important things people want to know about their animal when the owner isn't around. Sammy rescues barn kittens who have been abandoned by their mothers and cares for them. I am lucky enough to have adopted one of the kitties, and he is incredibly healthy and well-adjusted. I would trust Sammy with my own pets any time!”
