“This girl is OUTSTANDING. She went above and beyond her short time here and really save our family last minute. We will N E V E R be using another sitter! I wish i could give her 100 stars!”

“I didn't know anyone could be so amazing. Thank you Rebecca. You kept me informed every day. I received wonderful pictures. My pups love you. :) I'm always leery of starting with a new sitter but I was out of options and you worked out great. You are my number one go-to.”
“Michelle did well with staying a few nights. House was in good shape as when we left. Our dog seems to have been taken well care of and happy. I received pictures daily, which I enjoyed!”

About: Dogs of all shapes and sizes have always been an important part of my life. I have lived with and/or cared for many dogs from pups well into their senior years. Most of my canine friends have been rescue animals. We recently said goodbye to our sweet Buffy Lou, a boxer/pit bull mix. She was eight months old (still had some baby teeth) when she jumped into my truck late one night. By the time I exhausted all efforts to find her owners, she had won a place in our hearts. She was sweet, playful and strong and one of my dearest friends for 15 years. Although she weighed 65 pounds, she was very sure she was a lap dog. I'm happy to feed, play or walk with and care for your canine friends with careful attention to your requests. Often, the hard part about being away from home is finding a caregiver for your sweet pets; then there's the lists and the details so their care will be seamless while you're away. I've spent a wealth of time on those lists when I'm leaving my pets. Rest assured that I appreciate their importance and the love it represents for your pets. I'm retired and happily living on Lake Texoma with my husband and sweet pets. I can easily adjust my daily and/or weekly routine as needed. I'm happy to accompany your pups on short walks or to play in their yard. I believe that all pets need verbal communication and exercise just as we do. I've kept my service area within a small radius of my home in order to accommodate frequent visits whenever necessary.
About: I've had pets ever since I was young child. I love ALL animals, but truly have a heart for dogs. I have enjoyed pet-sitting for both friends & families fur babies over the years & it's something I love doing. We always had at least 3 or 4 dogs when my kids were growing up, as we lived in the country - big, small, I've had them all. I currently do not have any pets (my sweet dachshund, Cloey passed away a few years ago), and I moved to Sherman not long after. Instead of getting another pet while my heart was still healing, I have thoroughly enjoyed playing and loving on all of my neighbor's dogs. There are so many "dog people" where I live. I love it! I thought doing Rover would be perfect for me to get my daily dose of fur baby lovins. :-) I currently work full-time, but I am available anytime during the week after 5:30pm and have a VERY flexible schedule on weekends. Can visit your home 2-3x a day to take your fur baby out for walks, play with them, or even take them to the park. If you are going out of town for the weekend, I will give them a safe & loving environment to play in until you return. I am available to care for your fur baby overnight on the weekends (Friday - Sunday) and will make sure they are fed, loved, walked, & tucked in safe & sound when it's time to turn the lights off. If they wanna cuddle in my lap or hop up on the bed, I am totally fine with that. If they are use to sleeping in their bed or crate at night, we can do that too. I want your fur baby to be comfortable while you’re away.
“Olivia was great with my cat! He liked being outside and she took the time to sit with him everyday and keep him company. He was very well taken care of and he will now miss her presence! She also sent updates and photos everyday, which was very nice!”

“Christopher was so attentive to my special needs dog. My dog felt comfortable and safe with him. He made me feel safe as well, leaving my babies in his care. That says more than you know. I absolutely adore Cristopher and highly recommend him.”

About: I have a gentle and loving spirit. I accept all animals into my world. The more the better! I have a lot of love to give. I work part time so I have plenty of extra time to spend with all the pets. I love being outside and going for walks and spending time with animals as much as I can. Whenever I'm with any pets, they have my full attention and care. I'm happy to sit with pets as long as needed and give them the love and care.

“Tom is a gem and we were lucky to find him after our relocation to East Texas. We left our home knowing that our babies were in good hands. Tom was respectful of our property and we were very comfortable being away. It was a fantastic experience.”

“Tania was a great dog sitter! She provided plenty of updates/pictures of the dogs! She watched my two Great Danes and left the house so tidy! I would hire her again, and y’all should too.”

“Danielle is nothing short of a dog whisperer! Our dogs are pretty anxious, but Danielle’s presence and natural demeanor calmed them immediately and allowed them to relax and trust that she had everything under control. She checked in with us multiple times a day, which alone eased our own anxiety about leaving the pups for a week. She went the extra mile every day and our house even looks better than when we left! Danielle’s an absolute delight and we could not have asked for a more caring, thoughtful, or conscientious person to take care of our babies. We are incredibly fortunate—and so are our pups!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have both dogs and cats of my own and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages. I raised a litter of six puppies from birth and currently care for two newborn rescued kittens, giving me experience with bottle feeding, socialization, and providing extra attention to young animals. I love spending time outdoors walking dogs, playing with pets, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet like family and strive to provide dependable, compassionate care. I am currently a student at the University of North Texas working toward my bachelor’s degree. Outside of classes, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive care for pets. During the summer, I am available most days of the week and can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship. I am available any day except Tuesdays and Thursdays and will always make sure your pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both the pets and the home with the same respect and care I would my own. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, routines, and any special needs. I understand how important consistency is for animals, so I work to keep pets comfortable and stress-free while their owners are away. I provide plenty of love, attention, playtime, and exercise, along with regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
