About: As a former veterinary assistant, I have acquired and practiced a number of skills above and beyond those of a typical pet sitter. I'm adept at administering medications of all kinds (including subcutaneous fluids), nail trimming and other basic grooming... I even assisted in surgeries! Animals are drawn to me and me to them. I've had a special chemistry with pets since I was a child. My own internal reliance on routines means that your pet can rely on regular, predictable and consistent care. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine – as a fellow pet owner, you know the drill. It's an all-day, every-day procedure starting from the first morning pawing at my nose and going until, well, the last evening pawing at my nose. As far as caring for other pets, my schedule is flexible and I make every effort to keep a regular routine that help your pet feel safe and cared for. We have two cats who I dote on (my wife might say "spoil"). They wake me up like clockwork every morning for their breakfast and play. We let the senior outside for supervised, fenced play (aka time away from his big little brother), but the 2-year-old is strictly indoors. I've developed daily routines and timelines with each of my pets and they reward my consistency with plenty of cuddles and purring. We recently got a wheel for our younger cat, and he likes to run while I'm on zoom calls.

“My husband and I traveled to the central coast and brought our cat. Hotels do not allow you to leave animals behind in the hotel room, so we made arrangements ahead of time using the Rover App. Edina watched our cat in her home while my husband and I toured Hearst Castle. I brought a large kennel with food, water, bedding and a litterbox so my cat had everything she needed. Edina stayed home to watch our cat and played soothing music for her. We returned to pick up our cat and she was happy. I highly recommend Edina as a pet sitter! Thank you, Edina, for watching our cat. We appreciate that you were willing to watch a cat (most sitters only watch dogs) and that you took good care of her!”

About: As the token "animal lover" friend and family member, I've been the go-to for all things caretaker since I was young. It's my pleasure and joy to spend time with animals; I'm extremely attentive, love to give pets and cuddle. As a pet owner myself, I always worry if the sitters I have to watch my babies are going to be attentive enough and really ensure that they feel loved-- so that's always my MO. I currently work from home with a super flexible schedule, so I'm easily able to accommodate last minute requests as well as regularly scheduled visits for your fur babies! I'm a cuddler, and love to go on multiple daily walks myself, so you never have to worry about me just "checking the box" and leaving. I love to hang around, am very present with my visits, and big on cuddles. When taking care of another's fur baby, I always strive to meet the animal where they are and ensure that they feel as comfortable as possible as I know missing mom and dad can be hard and produce anxiety. I'm big on giving cuddles, attention, keeping them busy and going for walks, etc. More than happy to administer medication, stick to any special routines, and keep things as "normal" as possible. I'm extremely reliable and responsible; caretaking is one of my callings in this life and I thoroughly enjoy being that resource for others :)

About: I’ve been a professional house sitter for 10 years. I had a dog of my own for about 5 years-a big beautiful german shepherd who we trained extensively. I love dogs (and cats!) but with my traveling lifestyle, I can’t commit to having my own, but I have plenty of love and energy to give to others. I’m reliable, clean, communicative and love to adventure & hike, especially with doggy friends. I have a flexible work schedule and can work around you and your pets specific needs. Happy to help with high energy dogs, older chill dogs-and everything in between. I believe animals should be treated with respect and love and consistency just like a member of the family. They are full of unconditional love and that should be returned to them.

About: Hi Im Rachel! I love animals of all kinds and am excited to have fun with your pet! I worked in a vet clinic for 6 months and have had dogs my whole life, ranging from huskies, shepherds, labs to chihuahuas. I will run bike or skate with your dog as well as cuddle haha. I have also had many cats and love pets of all sorts. Just let me know what your animal needs and I will do my best to make your them happy! About: I work FT, weekdays 7:30am-4:30pm, but available all other hours, and all weekend. I'm in Morro Bay, an Oregonian import, and living on a sailboat. If you don't want your dog on the water, no problem, we'll go to the beach, hikes, and dog parks. I'm happy to spend all my time with dogs, hence the low low rates. I don't mind lazy dogs, especially if house sitting, but I'd prefer the owners who want there dog to get as much fun and attention as we can so we can both be active together. I have had a dog in my life for over 30 years, I recently volunteered at a Malaysian Dog rescue (cared for 13 feral pooches). My former partner was a dog trainer (so I have extensive knowledge in the field and back up advice on hand) and our dog was a service dog that we trained. Dogs naturally like me, and I'm able to lure even the most timid dogs by way of patient and persistent love. That's why they always eventually trust me, because I genuinely love them. All of them (bad repped too, most of my dogs have been pit mixes). I'm also a great fixer and handyman if needed. Weekends are wide open, Week nights too, but weekdays I work 7-5. Otherwise there will be minivan rides, walks, or park play.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and love taking them on adventures! They really go everywhere with me and I treat them like children. I am very good with training and teaching them how to do group walks ( wolf packs I like to call them ;) ) I have a dog named Luis and he is my pride and joy! About: I am reliable and very responsible with all fur babies! I am confident in CPR for animals, but still working on certification. I have a deep passion for animals, and it translates through the way I interact with them! I am finishing my masters degree in clinical psychology and have lots of time on my hands as I wait for my associate number to work as a therapist! Many services I provide include walking, housesitting, potty training, bathing and other basic needs. I want to keep your fur baby busy throughout the day!!
