“It’s always nerve racking leaving your fur babies with a relative stranger. It’s even more stress-including to invite them into your home. Add in two high-strung working breed dogs and anything can go wrong. However, Samantha really rose to the occasion. She is very sweet and animal-oriented. She took care of both of our German Shorthaired Pointers, on short notice, in our home and I’m pretty sure she exercised them even more than we do! Samantha even worked around their anxiety on top of cleaning up after herself. Does a fantastic job. Will definitely be hiring again!”

About: I am currently 25-years-old! I grew up on a farm in Georgia with all kinds of animals and I loved every second of it. Animals aren't just a pet, they are family and they should be treated that way. I'm extremely patient and hypervigilant, so I notice when things are "out-of-order" right away. Right now, I have two sweet doggies, a fish and a chinchilla! I am also a single-mom to a 4-year-old, so I am going to treat your fur-babies as my own. I will update and send you pictures to lessen the worry you may have. *PLEASE NOTE* If I am house sitting, I will need WiFi to do schoolwork. I'm currently going to school full-time and I will always work my schedule around for your babies. Your babies can't take care of themselves and that's where I come in. Safety and trust with your baby is my number one priority. We will never walk or go anywhere where I know isn't safe for your baby or me.

About: My love for animals started at 8 years old. My dad and I rehabilitated baby squirrels that were abandoned during his work as a tree climber. We bottle-fed them and watched them grow and released them when they were of age. Since then I have been taking in kittens to foster until they can be re-homed. Some were definitely foster fails as I currently have 6 cats of my own. I have fostered over 20 kittens to date. This year alone I have fostered 5 kittens that required bottle feeding and 1 that was 5 weeks old when I found her. I have also assisted with many TNRs in my area. I currently have 2 dogs of my own but have fostered 4 in the last few years. My two dogs are a pit mix and a chihuahua-yorkie mix. I currently work 8-4, 5 days a week. I live in Callaway but work on the beach so I am flexible with location. I am also available to drop in the check in on pets around my work ours and any time on my days off. I will not commit to watching a pet if I cannot properly drop in. If I am sitting a pet at someone else’s home, I think it’s important to follow instructions provided by owner. Every owner has their own set of rules and preferences on how they want their animals taken care of. I think it’s important to follow these instructions and provide stability as best as I can while the owner is not present.

About: Since I was a kid, I’ve kept various kinds of animals including cats and dogs. I have over 2 years of experience caring for animals in a professional zoo setting. Due to my career I have taken animal welfare classes and received training in caring for all sorts of animals. With my experience I can provide your pet with the best care and most fun time during our time together. For pets on any medication, I am experienced in oral administration but I am not able to do injections. I am able to make frequent visits to your home throughout the day and evening to ensure the best care for your pet. I am also able to stay at your home overnight upon request. For those looking for dog walking services, I am available any time. Please provide me with any information regarding your pets daily routine. I am interested in knowing how you typically care for your dog/cat so that I can keep them on their typical routine while you are away to keep things consistent for them with minimal stress.
