“I couldn't be happier with Kat and the care she gave my 2 pups. She got to know them and their personalities. My senior pup has special needs and she gave him the care he needed. My home was well cared for, too. I look forward to using her in the future.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets in one household, handling high energy dogs, and administering oral medications when needed. I am very aware that every pet has their own unique personality and routine, and I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care while giving pet parents complete peace of mind through reliable communication💕🐾 Caring for pets is something I truly enjoy and fits perfectly into my everyday life. I am currently unemployed so I love spending my time with my own animals, so i will love spending time with your fur baby! whether that means going on walks, playing, keeping them company, or making sure they feel comfortable while you are away. I’m able to build pet care into my routine by setting aside dedicated time for each pet’s needs and schedule. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I want them to feel happy, safe, and loved in my care. I care for every pet and home with the same respect and attention that I would want for my own. In your home, I would follow your rules / instructions closely, keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment, and maintain their normal routines for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and daily care. I will always prioritize safety by making sure doors, gates, and surroundings are secure while providing plenty of love and attention.
“Kimberly was absolutely wonderful! She cared for our elderly dog with so much love and attention, and we could tell he felt safe and comfortable with her. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in her hands. She also left our home spotless—we came back to a clean, cozy space and a very happy pup. We’re so grateful for her and can’t recommend Kimberly enough!”

“Jessica was such a refreshing change! Porter loved her and she also left the house cleaner than when I left. My pup is a very spoiled/particular child and she listened to his needs and met them all. Thank you Jessica and welcome to the family. We will rebook with you again very soon!”

About: I have had pets in my life ever since I was little. So I love helping take care of them. I also am very good with puppies and teaching them new tricks, and helping with potty train. I also love helping keep dogs very active, or just chill with them and cuddle! I am a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of free time. All days of the week are good for me. I’m even available on weekends if needed. I have a fenced in backyard. I also have a dog of my own, who loves to play with others and gets along with all sizes. He loves to share his toys or just play together. Or if it’s in your own home, anywhere your fur baby loves to play! I also have dog parks around for your baby to play with or without others, and a nice neighborhood to walk around. Or we can walk around your neighborhood as well!

“This past week was the first time I have left my 2 labs overnight and was a bit nervous. Marina not only met my girls ahead of her scheduled time, she went way above my expectations. My labs loved her and I will definitely be using her again. She made my being gone very easy.”

“Cranesha was fantastic! I almost don’t want to recommend her because selfishly I want her all to myself for all of my sitting needs for the future but she deserves this stellar review so I have to tell everyone how fantastic she is! Communication is spot on! I had a helicopter mom moment and want to check on Dozer and within seconds she sent me a photo to show me that he was doing just fine! I can tell when dozer leaves a sitting experience stressed or happily exhausted and my boy had the best time! She communicated any and everything with him that I would have wanted communicated and really went above and beyond! Thanks Cranesha! You will be hearing from us again VERY soon!”

“Abigail was great! She provided updates throughout the day along with pictures and even video! She took care of our pup and home like it was her own. Thank you for a great visit!”
“Leona was very communicative and sent lots of pictures of puppy smiles and playing with his toys! The house looked as clean as it was when I left it. Thank you Leona for caring for my pup while I was away!”

About: I have had taken care of/lived with various dog breeds, and have walked and raised dogs since I can remember. I recently began volunteering at Alaqua walking and playing with dogs, and I have experience dog sitting and walking my neighbors dogs. I have worked with puppies, middle aged dogs, older dogs, both big and small! I love dogs unconditionally and I will do everything in my power to ensure they stay spoiled and happy :). I work part-time closing shifts at my job, so I am available for early mornings and late nights. I work whenever I am scheduled, but I am always off on Wednesdays! My normal shift is normally 4pm-10pm, so I am available to dog sit, check-in, or walk before and after my shift! I cannot care for pets at my own home, but I will ensure that when I come to your home, I will keep it looking good as new. I am a chronic dish washer if any dishes or slight cleaning needs to be made. I am also no stranger to accidents that dogs are prone to, as one of my past dogs had a sensitive stomach, especially when it came to my carpeted floors. I will do whatever your dog wants to do, but my favorite aspect of it all is to ensure that the dog is happy and to make a connection with them. I love being active and playing, but I can also just simply snuggle up with them.

“I was really worried about my two girls Rajah and Zoe (boxers). Rajah and Zoe are very attached to mommy and daddy. We don’t leave them that often simply because of age and medical conditions. Rajah and Zoe toke to Brittney when we did a first meet and once again a few days before we left town for the weekend and they were completely comfortable with her and even my cat toke her, and he normally doesn’t take to strangers right away. Brittney responded to my text with in a reasonable amount of time when I messaged her. So, yes we would use Brittney again.”

About: Hi! I’m darian. In my opinion, pets aren’t just animals, they’re members of the family who deserve the absolute best care, respect, and affection. I pride myself on being a deeply compassionate, reliable, and kind person, and my goal is to give you total peace of mind while you’re away. As a former dog mom who brought her dog with her everywhere, it caused so much anxiety not being able to bring him with me or leaving him with someone outside of my immediate family. Luckily, we met a phenomenal pet sitter on Rover who we trusted until the very end 🖤 Now I want to provide the same love, patience, and kindness that I would give to my own. Although I have zero experience on Rover, I have 14+ years of experience between pet ownership and pet-sitting for family and friends. I have a cat allergy which prevents me from owning a cat however, I’d be more than happy to get my kitty fix from your fur baby the next time you’re out of town! I’m also opened to accommodating to specific routines/procedures or administering medication with the proper care plan ahead of time. This applies to overnight care, walking, and drop-in services! Mondays & Thursdays between 6:30&9:30am I am unavailable, other than those set times I am opened to opportunities! I am unmarried with no children which provides me with more flexibility in my schedule. I am new on Rover however, I am fully aware of how vulnerable it is to allow someone into your home and to take care of your animal, a beloved member of your family. Since I am new to Rover, I am happy to provide character references to ensure my credibility as a reliable, trustworthy person.

We used Ms. Kat so we could attend our daughter's wedding and were gone for 4 days. She was wonderful with our Jebby and Daisy and always sent pictures. Kat went above and beyond, as she even washed the bedding, etc. We highly recommend using her, and she most definitely gets 5 stars from us. Thank you so very much Ms. Kat

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Tyndall Air Force Base walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Tyndall Air Force Base maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Tyndall Air Force Base choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
