About: I’m 27 years old and work part time from home as an accountant! I have a lot of availability and time to spend with your pet! I have always loved animals especially dogs! I have cared for dogs of all ages from 6 weeks old to 15 years old. My childhood dog who passed away a few years ago lived until he was 15 years old. He was blind and deaf at the end of his life and required many medications and overall care. I was the sole caretaker for him so I have years of experience of older dog care, no matter what that entails. I now have a 6 year old dog that I rescued at 6 weeks old so I definitely have experience at the other end too! I can bring my dog to your house if your animals like to have a friend to play with or I can leave her at home! I can taylor to any of your dogs needs. I can run or play fetch with them or just give them some much needed loving and belly rubs. I have many years of experience house sitting and watching neighbors dogs. I also worked at a doggie daycare and boarding facility overseeing 30+ dogs at a time. I have experience with all shapes and sizes and that is what I look forward to most. Meeting all new pups with all different needs and personalities! I take my own dog for multiple walks per day and I work from home! I have lots of availability so I can spend most of my time with them! I can taylor to any of your dogs needs. I have lots of time to spend with them and want to make you and them feel comfortable!

About: My family has spent a lifetime caring for and loving pets of all kinds, from energetic new puppies and kittens to cherished senior companions. Big or small, feathered, furry or fluffy, they are always treated as family. Our own dogs are trained using German commands, and even our cat is leash-trained, reflecting the time, patience, and care we invest in animal companionship. I understand how important your pets’ health, safety, and happiness are, and I recognize that busy schedules can make it challenging to give them the attention they need. It would be my privilege to provide dependable, compassionate care for your beloved pets and to treat them with the same love and respect I give my own. I am a homeschool mom of two independent children and many fur babies including two dogs, three cats, and a few extras. I am also a youth pastor so my schedule is flexible and late nights not a problem. I have a safe fenced yard and lots of furry companions; however, I will not be sitting animals in my home as I prefer this space to stay limited to my own.

About: I am a very warm, trustworthy, nurturing person who loves animals of all kinds. I’ve had pets my entire life. My first job was at a vet clinic at age 15 working in the boarding house with the dogs and cats. I’ve dog sat for family & close friends for 20+ years. Animals are normally pretty drawn to me but I was raised to pay attention when a dogs body language communicates that they might need time to warm up. I try to give them as much space and respect that they need. I am a small business owner which allows me to have flexibility in my schedule. Thought this would be a fun way to fill the time in-between meeting with clients. Would love to spend time loving on your pet while you are away. Willing to provide the attention and care that each individual animal in your home may need while you are away. I am very nurturing and have great attention to detail, love to snuggle but I am also very active and love to be outside.

I truly believe every animal deserves quality time, genuine affection, and attentive care — not just the basics. As a dog mom myself to my sweet (and slightly crazy!) baby, I completely understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, walks, patience, or extra attention, I’m here for it all. You can relax knowing your baby will be treated like family with me! Skills… - oral medications - any type of extra care - shy/quiet animals - comfortable with hyper, energetic animals - older animals - puppies of any kind - calm under pressure - Excellent communication with owner - pet safety awareness - long walks and active play - gentle handling technique I work at Starbucks so I go by shifts each week! Each week is the exact same shifts so it makes to easy on me and the owner! When can I visit?… (please remember I can be flexible and visit before or after shifts if communicated with!) I understand the need for communication, specific instructions, and genuine care for your animal. I know that if I left my pet in someone else’s care, I would want the utmost respect, patience, gentle-hands, and skills to be applied. And I am more than happy to give that same experience to your baby! I love all types of animals and each personality is different and beautiful. This isn’t just another job for me, it’s a way to help others in a genuine, kind way! From one parent to another, I understand and I would love to work with you! About: Hi my name is Mason! I’ve spent most of my life caring for all kinds of animals. From domestic dogs and cats to exotic zoo animals, I’ve worked with them all and love them all! I am patient and understanding with animals, acknowledging that time away from their owner can be stressful for them. I want to be sure each animal in my care feels loved and taken care of. I have petsat for years, starting at a young age for neighbors and friends with various dogs, cats, and even reptiles. Moving into paid animal care positions with zoos and shelters, I have continued my passion for animal care. I want to help your animal feel just like home even when you can’t be there! I work at an emergency vet clinic, working only three days a week. I am openly available on those off days to care for your pets and give them my undivided attention! My own pets are considered happy, healthy, and SPOILED! I’d love to give that same care to your babies. I believe each pet deserves endless love and cuddles, and I want to do that in your absence.

About: With over 16 years of experience in animal care, I bring a strong background in both small and large animals, including horses, livestock, and dogs. I’ve worked in veterinary clinics and dog boarding facilities, which gave me hands-on experience with animals of all temperaments and needs. While I value the structure of those settings, I believe in-home care is the most comfortable and stress-free option for most pets. I currently care for two dogs and two horses of my own, and I approach every client’s animal with the same level of respect, patience, and attentiveness I give my own. House Sitting Availability: I’m available for overnight care only, providing feeding, walks, and supervision during the night hours. Drop-In Visits Availability: I can provide up to two drop-in visits per day, including feeding, potty breaks, and basic care. In home boarding : I live in an apartment with a fenced deck, have two friendly dogs, and kids aged 3 and 8. I provide plenty of walks, playtime, and attention. I never board more than one family at a time, so your pup gets all the care and attention they need while you’re away. I prioritize safety and trust above all else when caring for pets in your home. Creating a calm, secure environment is essential to help your pets feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I treat your home and pets with the same respect and care I would expect for my own!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
