About: I have been caring for dogs for friends, family and neighbors for several years. I am currently a dog mom to a 3 year old labradoodle that I love so much. I have done all her training (off leash, recall, commands, house training, etc) without a trainer and was extremely successful. I believe my dog has the absolute best life as we walk or run almost everyday and also goes on all my crazy outdoor adventures with me. I understand that life can be busy and work / life / travel balance is hard. I would love to help give your dog the love they need when navigating your busy life. My schedule is not consistent as I am currently in my final year of school and each week varies. I work mostly night shifts so I am available to let your animals out / walk them during the day time on days I do not have classes. I am flexible to the needs of each animal. If your pet is crate trained I am familiar with this. If your pet is not I am happy to accommodate their needs.

About: Growing up around animals all my life, I've got experience with all kinds of pets! I love dogs and the energy they radiate! I try to go above and beyond with everything I do, and take pride in my work! I will treat your dog as my own, and make sure that by the time you get your fur-baby back, they'll be pooped! All dogs being boarded will have to be friendly with cats as I have one and he is quite timid. I’m trying to stick more to dog walking, but I’d love to board your animal or do drop in visits for you as well! On our walks, you can expect your baby to be mentally stimulated, excersized, and tired by the time they’re home! If arranged, I can do one hour walks instead of the 30 minute walk Rover suggests! Thank you for reading, I can’t wait to meet you!
About: Hi my name is Mackenzie! Although my experience is limited when it comes to professional pet care, I myself had the privilege of having and taking care of our family dog; Gizmo, for over fourteen years. I understand the importance of keeping a dog happy and healthy and will treat your animal in the best way possible. As a responsible young woman who loves animals, I work hard and strive in any position thrown at me. Performing at the best of my abilities, I will protect and take care of your animal and your home with the utmost respect and diligence. I hope I have the opportunity to work with you and become welcome in your dog's heart and your own. Thank you and looking forward to working with you! I am currently on leave as an Assistant Director in the Film Industry and have lots of flexibility with week days and nights and weekends! Respect and trust are the pillars to any successful working environment. I promise to respect the pet and the owner and the environment in which they live and trust that they will do the same as we work together. Hoping that the trust runs through me as well as the owner leaves their animal in my care and understand that I am responsible and caring.

I’m currently unemployed looking to find part time work. I am doing school remotely and am usually available all times of day with some notice in advance I have a bunch of fur babies, animals are some of my best friends. About: I’ve been around dogs of all sizes breeds and personalities my whole life. I am comfortable and confident caring for dogs that are small, large, shy, social young or old. For the past two years, I have volunteered as an advanced dog walker with Edmonton Humane Society, where I have received hands-on training with their expert Behaviour Team. I’m currently completing an online diploma, which gives me a very flexible schedule. This means I’m available for pet care throughout the week and on weekends morning afternoon or evening. Since my studies are self-paced I am able to easily prioritize your pets needs and give them attention time and care they deserve whenever it’s needed. While I don’t host pets in my own home, I have plenty of experience, caring for pets in their own space and staying at clients homes. “Emily has been a blessing to our family (and two fur babies)! She joined us last minute as we left on holiday, proved herself reliable, trustworthy and a great babysitter/dogs walker. So so that we have kept her on after returning home. Now the pups watch for her and are so excited she comes back to “visit” twice a week. I highly recommend Emily to anyone who loves their pups as we do!”

About: Hi! I’m a 28-year-old sitter who cares deeply about animals. I communicate clearly, stay dependable, and keep a calm presence. People close to me say I work hard and follow through. Here is why that matters. Pets respond to the energy in the room, and they relax when someone grounded cares for them. I grew up with a dog who lived for 16 years, and he shaped the way I read posture, needs, and changes in mood. I still remember how much he taught me. Friends, family, and Rover clients trust me with walks, full pet-sitting routines, and long stays. When someone hands me their leash or their house keys, I take that trust seriously. Safety comes first. I watch gates, pacing, weather, and stress cues. I enjoy building routines that fit each animal. Some dogs want long walks, while others want slow check-ins. Some cats need space at first, while others run right toward attention. I follow what works for the animal in front of me. I use positive reinforcement with every pet. Treats, praise, and steady encouragement help animals feel seen and confident. I like keeping pets entertained with toys, simple training refreshers, and fun little activities that match their comfort level. It keeps their minds active, and it helps them feel secure and happy. My understanding of mental health supports the way I care for animals. Stress, overstimulation, and routine changes affect pets just like they do people. I stay aware of body language, excitement levels, and signals that tell me a pet needs a break or reassurance. It creates a calm flow that helps them settle. I have experience caring for cats, budgies, bunnies, rodents, a bearded dragon, fish, and a whole lot of plants. I do not have pets of my own right now, so I have time and attention ready for yours. I spent a year working in a veterinary clinic and studied animal science at the University of Alberta for a year. That background shaped the way I think about wellness and early signs that something needs attention. When someone understands both the science and the emotional side of animal care, the pet thrives. If you want someone steady, warm, and tuned in to both behaviour and comfort, I would love to meet your pet and learn what helps them feel safe and happy. I study in a virtual masters of counselling program, and I will be in this program for the next two years. It shapes the way I understand stress, comfort, and the emotional side of daily life. That awareness supports the way I care for animals. Someone who knows me sees how I pay attention to body language - small signals and rhythms. Pets respond well to that. I recently moved back to Beaumont and want to stay close to home while I work. Pet sitting fits what I care about, and it gives me meaningful time with animals during my studies. I also hold a casual position as a support care worker at a treatment facility about an hour from the city. I set my own hours there, so I choose how much or how little I work. This gives me full flexibility. I can prioritize your pet’s needs without stress or schedule conflicts. Their routine stays steady, and I arrange my commitments around them. If you want someone who stays organized, grounded, and fully present with animals, I am ready to help care for your pet with attention and calm energy. I have a fenced backyard that gives pets a safe space to move, sniff, and relax. I can crate your pet if you prefer that structure. I do not have animals of my own right now, so your pet gets my full attention. I live with my parents in a basement suite, and the setup works well for pets. Your dog or cat can stay in my suite with me, or they can roam the house under my supervision if that feels right for them and if you want that option. I pay close attention to comfort, pacing, and signals that tell me how they feel in a new space. The area around our home makes walks easy. We are surrounded by ponds, open paths, and quiet spots that give dogs plenty to explore. I enjoy running with active dogs, and slower walks feel just as meaningful for dogs who want a gentler pace. I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee, so I can transport your pet when needed. This helps with emergency situations, vet visits, or fun outings like the dog park or new walking routes. I keep the vehicle clean, safe, and ready for trips that match your pet’s comfort level. If you want steady supervision, a calm home, and outdoor space your pet can enjoy, I am ready to welcome them into my routine.

“Terin was a total lifesaver walking my big dog when I got injured and couldn’t walk her all of a sudden. My dog can be high energy and likes to pull sometimes and gets barky and reactive around other dogs at times. I was reluctant to trust anyone new to walk her. But Terin was very zen and handled her like a pro and absolutely put my mind at ease. It was a huge relief knowing my dog was out burning off energy and getting some much needed outside time with Terin. Terin was terrific!”
