About: I have trained dogs of all breeds and love playing and working with them. You can rest easy your doggo is with a very responsible pet owner and sitter. I work from home and bring any board and trains here. Besides going out for a few hours I am normally home all day and night to take care of your pet. I have one hour calls with clients during the day and can make my own schedule. I provide a safe, structured, and loving home environment for every dog in my care. I have two German Shepherds, so for everyone's safety and comfort, I require all guest dogs to be crate trained, and owners must provide their dog's crate. Dogs take turns having free time in the house so everyone gets one-on-one attention and a chance to relax without feeling overwhelmed. When it's their turn, they're welcome to enjoy the furniture and even sleep on my bed if that's what they're used to at home. When they're not out, they rest comfortably in their crate with fresh water and a cozy space to relax. Your dog's well-being is my priority, and I'll follow their feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special instructions you provide to make sure they feel as comfortable and at home as possible.
“This was the first time leaving Jack anywhere or with anyone. So, we were nervous. Neil was easy to communicate with and is calm and reassuring. We left for 2.5 days, Neil kept us apprised of Jack and all the walks and eating habits. Pictures were much appreciated. Neil and Fergus made Jack's stay a great experience for all. We would recommend Neil and Fergus to our friends and family.”

“Our sitter Jodie was wonderful! We couldn't have had a better experience. She has such a bubbly, kind and caring way about her. Our dogs took to her quickly and the pictures she shared only confirmed what we already knew....they were so loved and had lots of fun! We will see you again Jodie!”

“Melissa is amazing ! She treated my dog so well. She kept her active with taking her to dog parks to run and play ball and She kept me updated with videos, pictures and messages. I am extreme and love my dog like a human and it really meant so much to me. She also bought her two toys which was so unbelievably generous and not expected at all. Such a sweet soul. 100% recommend to leave your dog with Melissa and I personally will use her again.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Blaine and Kendra! They took amazing care of our baby, Mabel, and it was clear from the start that she was in loving, capable hands. They sent daily updates and photos, which meant so much to us and really put our minds at ease while we were away. It was obvious from the pictures that Mabel was happy, relaxed, and being treated like part of their family. 😊 Communication was excellent, they were reliable and thoughtful, and we truly appreciated the care and attention they gave her. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Blaine and Kendra again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, trustworthy sitters.”

About: Growing up around animals all my life, I've got experience with all kinds of pets! I love dogs and the energy they radiate! I try to go above and beyond with everything I do, and take pride in my work! I will treat your dog as my own, and make sure that by the time you get your fur-baby back, they'll be pooped! All dogs being boarded will have to be friendly with cats as I have one and he is quite timid. I’m trying to stick more to dog walking, but I’d love to board your animal or do drop in visits for you as well! On our walks, you can expect your baby to be mentally stimulated, excersized, and tired by the time they’re home! If arranged, I can do one hour walks instead of the 30 minute walk Rover suggests! Thank you for reading, I can’t wait to meet you!
“My pup, Atticus, had a great weekend with Liza and her family. I feel she took excellent care of him and sent me lots of pictures to keep me updated. She really accommodated him to make sure he was happy and comfortable to the extent that she allowed Atticus to sleep with her! What more could you ask for?! Liza is so friendly and kind and her whole family, including their family dog, welcomed Atticus into their home. When the need arises again, I will definitely give Liza a call. I appreciate all that you did to love my furry friend while I was away, Liza. Thank you so much!”

We never had one worry as to leaving our girl with Stephanie and her family. Athena was able to have lots of exercise time and play time with Stephanie's puppies. “Kim and Jon were amazing sitters for our pup, Diesel! We boarded him for just one night to test the waters for his first time away, and they knocked it out of the park. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and clearly very experienced with dogs. Their kindness and confidence made us feel at ease- and Diesel felt right at home. You can tell they genuinely care and treat every dog like part of the family. Diesel was happy, relaxed, and clearly well- loved while in their care. We’ll definitely be repeat customers. 👍”

Well cared for, beautiful fenced yard, plenty of walks, play parks, lots of pictures, and great socialization for him with another Retriever buddy and a cat in his home away from home. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
