About: I grew up on a farm and have extensive experience with all kinds of animal. Dogs and cats alike. I currently work at a animal boarding facility.i also hold a current and up to date animal first aid certification I work mainly nights but have no issue coming to check on pets before and after my shifts. Will be available at any time other that 2-11. I work in a force free boarding facility and I carry that into my own home. I own a Red heeler. So I understand high anxiety or pups who may need extra attention.
“This was the first time leaving Jack anywhere or with anyone. So, we were nervous. Neil was easy to communicate with and is calm and reassuring. We left for 2.5 days, Neil kept us apprised of Jack and all the walks and eating habits. Pictures were much appreciated. Neil and Fergus made Jack's stay a great experience for all. We would recommend Neil and Fergus to our friends and family.”

“Amazing! Liza was very understanding when my pug decided he could test her by not going outside to use the bathroom on the first day. She took really good care of him and sent lots of pictures and updates through out his time with her. Highly recommend!!”

“Breanne was looking after 5-6 other dogs at the time Buddy arrived. Buddy was given his own space and got along nicely with the other dogs. A daily walk was much appreciated.”

“Our dogs had a great time - walks, camping, pup cups at Starbucks, nail trims and more. We appreciated the regular communication and pictures while we were away. They looked happy in all the pictures and we were feeling good about leaving them with someone for the first time.”

“Our sitter Jodie was wonderful! We couldn't have had a better experience. She has such a bubbly, kind and caring way about her. Our dogs took to her quickly and the pictures she shared only confirmed what we already knew....they were so loved and had lots of fun! We will see you again Jodie!”

“Melissa is amazing ! She treated my dog so well. She kept her active with taking her to dog parks to run and play ball and She kept me updated with videos, pictures and messages. I am extreme and love my dog like a human and it really meant so much to me. She also bought her two toys which was so unbelievably generous and not expected at all. Such a sweet soul. 100% recommend to leave your dog with Melissa and I personally will use her again.”

“Mikayla was so nice and welcoming of our dog and all his needs. She kept us updated throughout his stay with pictures and messages about how he adjusted to staying overnight at a new place. She always communicated any changes or adjustments with us ahead of time, and checked in with us whenever she wanted to go the extra mile. We felt very comfortable leaving him in her care, and would gladly do so again. She provided great care, great peace of mind while we’re away from him. Our dog looked even better upon pickup than when we left him. 5 stars; highly recommend both for the customer service and the quality pet care. Thank you again Mikayla, we appreciate what you do and how well you do it.”

About: Hi, I'm Lindsay! I'm a lifelong animal lover based on an acreage just outside Sherwood Park, and I treat every pet in my care like my own. Whether your pup is a social butterfly or a little shy, they'll feel right at home with me. What makes my setup special? Wide open space, fresh air, and plenty of room to explore. I love taking dogs out for walks across the property and giving them all the snuggles they deserve - because honestly, that's the best part of my day. I offer boarding and day care, and I'm committed to keeping you in the loop with regular updates and photos so you never have to wonder how your fur baby is doing. Your pet deserves more than a kennel - they deserve a real home environment where they're loved, exercised, and cared for. I'd love to meet them! 🐾 I work from home 3 days a week, and can provide day care on those dates - I'm also available for long-term stays over those days and weekends. I have two pups of my own, and they get walked daily. I would be able to walk your pups daily, bring them in for day care, and longer weekend stays.
“Our Athena spent 4 days with Stephanie and family and I could tell our girl was well taken care of. Stephanie sent updates and pictures daily. We never had one worry as to leaving our girl with Stephanie and her family. Athena was able to have lots of exercise time and play time with Stephanie's puppies. I highly recommend Stephanie and family to take care of your fur family.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wetaskiwin
Polly Anna is nothing short of amazing. This was our dogs 2nd stay with her, both of which have been fantastic. Our dog is nervous/anxious and does best being able to go outdoors and run in the fields. Polly Anna was so patient with her and helped her to feel comfortable in a new place. She came out of her shell and made many new dog friends! We received daily updates with pictures, videos and messages about how she slept, ate etc. Polly Anna has a special way with animals. We felt completely at ease from the moment we dropped her off. Highly recommend if you are looking for someone to truly love and care for your dog while you are away!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
