We would recommend Neil and Fergus to our friends and family.”

“My pup, Atticus, had a great weekend with Liza and her family. I feel she took excellent care of him and sent me lots of pictures to keep me updated. She really accommodated him to make sure he was happy and comfortable to the extent that she allowed Atticus to sleep with her! What more could you ask for?! Liza is so friendly and kind and her whole family, including their family dog, welcomed Atticus into their home. When the need arises again, I will definitely give Liza a call. I appreciate all that you did to love my furry friend while I was away, Liza. Thank you so much!”

About: Hi, I'm Lindsay! I'm a lifelong animal lover based on an acreage just outside Sherwood Park, and I treat every pet in my care like my own. Whether your pup is a social butterfly or a little shy, they'll feel right at home with me. What makes my setup special? Wide open space, fresh air, and plenty of room to explore. I love taking dogs out for walks across the property and giving them all the snuggles they deserve - because honestly, that's the best part of my day. I offer boarding and day care, and I'm committed to keeping you in the loop with regular updates and photos so you never have to wonder how your fur baby is doing. Your pet deserves more than a kennel - they deserve a real home environment where they're loved, exercised, and cared for. I'd love to meet them! 🐾 I work from home 3 days a week, and can provide day care on those dates - I'm also available for long-term stays over those days and weekends. I have two pups of my own, and they get walked daily. I would be able to walk your pups daily, bring them in for day care, and longer weekend stays.

“Kim and Jon were amazing sitters for our pup, Diesel! We boarded him for just one night to test the waters for his first time away, and they knocked it out of the park. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and clearly very experienced with dogs. Their kindness and confidence made us feel at ease- and Diesel felt right at home. You can tell they genuinely care and treat every dog like part of the family. Diesel was happy, relaxed, and clearly well- loved while in their care. We’ll definitely be repeat customers. 👍”

“Our sitter Jodie was wonderful! We couldn't have had a better experience. She has such a bubbly, kind and caring way about her. Our dogs took to her quickly and the pictures she shared only confirmed what we already knew....they were so loved and had lots of fun! We will see you again Jodie!”

“Sajina and her family were beyond kind and went the extra mile in taking care of our golden retriever, Luna. They have a beautiful, fenced yard and took her on walks and excursions, including her in all their family activities. They sent photos and videos and it’s obvious she had fun. We were worried she wouldn’t want come home! We are so grateful to have found Sajina.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wetaskiwin
Polly Anna is nothing short of amazing. This was our dogs 2nd stay with her, both of which have been fantastic. Our dog is nervous/anxious and does best being able to go outdoors and run in the fields. Polly Anna was so patient with her and helped her to feel comfortable in a new place. She came out of her shell and made many new dog friends! We received daily updates with pictures, videos and messages about how she slept, ate etc. Polly Anna has a special way with animals. We felt completely at ease from the moment we dropped her off. Highly recommend if you are looking for someone to truly love and care for your dog while you are away!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
