“Kristin and her family have watched Ocean twice after our initial meet and greet. Ocean is a very shy pup and has a lot of anxiety with people she doesn't know. The first overnight she was very shy and timid at drop off and hid upstairs for a lot of the evening. By night time she was up on the bed to cuddle with Kristin and her husband. When I picked her up the next day she was so comfortable and running about the house. The second time we went she ran right into the house, no fear or anxiety at all. She had a wonderful stay and loves the family and their dogs Jasper and Willow. I am more than happy with our experience with Kristin and the care she provides. I especially appreciate her understanding of Ocean's anxiety and need for space when she's anxious. I would highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again. Ocean and I are truly grateful to have found this service and Kristin. 😊”

About: Hi everyone! I am currently looking to help somebody looking for animal care. My home is open to big or small dogs for the day or over nights! Our dog who was our entire world recently passed and I am home on mat leave. Would love to have a furry friend around and be able to help you care for your pet while you are away. As I am on mat leave, the dog must be okay with a baby. I have many years experience with pet sitting and can provide references. I love animals and I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and I know the struggle of worrying about your animals while you’re away which is why I would love to help you out! We love going for walks or the river if your pup likes to swim and have a yard for them to play. Let me know if this is something that would suit your needs. I can’t wait to spend time with your pooch! I am available Monday to Sunday most days and evenings. I I can provide during the day care, over nights and long terms care. I am on maternity leave and have nothing but time right now! I treat your dog as if they are our own in the comfort of my home in Blackfalds. We will go for walks, have play time, lots of cuddles and pets and treats (if allowed). We love getting out and going on trails or a dip in the river if you are comfortable with that and have a fully fenced back yard.

I currently share my home with a young chihuahua cross who I adopted from Fostering Hope Animal Rescue Foundation in Red Deer, and an adult cat, also adopted from a local Rescue. Over the years I’ve welcomed friends’ and family members’ dogs for holidays. Sometimes my pack was much bigger than others! 🤩 Now, it’s just me and Manny and my friendly cat. I’d love to open my peaceful home to your pet, short- or long term. I work from home currently. I am somewhat of a homebody, and if I have to leave a pet at home, it will never be for more than 4 hours, and is usually much less. I own my home. I have a fully fenced yard, and live 3 doors away from a big park. I love to walk, run, and if with a suitable dog, bicycle. If desired, there are two off-leash dog parks nearby.

I love every breed of dog and I love getting to know there individual spunk of personality the more time we spend together!!! About: Growing up around animals all my life, I've got experience with all kinds of pets! I love dogs and the energy they radiate! I try to go above and beyond with everything I do, and take pride in my work! I will treat your dog as my own, and make sure that by the time you get your fur-baby back, they'll be pooped! All dogs being boarded will have to be friendly with cats as I have one and he is quite timid. I’m trying to stick more to dog walking, but I’d love to board your animal or do drop in visits for you as well! On our walks, you can expect your baby to be mentally stimulated, excersized, and tired by the time they’re home! If arranged, I can do one hour walks instead of the 30 minute walk Rover suggests! About: I’m a really big fan of positive reinforcement when it comes to dogs. I believe when you’re attentive to them and present with them they respond in kind and you can then reward good behaviour as it shines through. I’ve had a lot of experience with puppies and have learned a lot. I have a very strong dog who is really good at training puppies and showing them proper responses. I’m available most days if booked well enough in advance. Some last minute bookings may work, depending what’s going on. I value exercise and boundaries with dogs and think they need that to thrive. I have a fenced yard and a very strong dog who is used to me taking care of other dogs. She’s very good at setting boundaries and assessing where other dogs are at and what they need.
