About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life and currently share my home with a dog (Jackson) and two cats (Frankie and Oz). I live in a quiet area in Val-des-Monts, fairly close to Wakefield. My yard is 1/2 acre next to a shallow pond with lots of space for dogs to run around and explore. While my yard isn’t fenced, I provide supervised outdoor time and peaceful walks on our low-traffic road. Whether your pet needs calm companionship, playtime, or a reliable routine while you’re away, I’ll treat them like one of my own :) Pet care is a regular part of my day. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means I’m around to give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m an active person and take my own dog out for multiple walks, play sessions and outdoor breaks daily. Your pets’ safety and comfort are my top priority. I provide a cozy and welcoming environment with lots of supervised time outdoors in nature. As I mostly work from home, you don’t have to worry about your pet being alone and getting into things they shouldn’t.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I’m currently working from home, so, I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays as well. I have two friendly cats to keep your fur baby company. And also as I am working from he will never be and feel alone.

About: I will care for your pet as if it were mine. I am an all around animal lover. I don't own a dog but I do have a cat. Spending time with your pet will be important to me because it will mean that your mind is at ease. Your busy schedule won't allow you to be with your pet all the time and that is what I am here for! I can give your dog a good brush and belly rub and a good walk and/or play time at the dog park. I may not have full time dog experience but that will not prevent me from giving them the attention and care they deserve. I am happy to help when available. Don’t hesitate to reach out. I work away from home four days a week and am available on weekends. I will care for your pet as if it were my own. If they are high energy I will play with them. If they are low energy, I will give them cuddles. It all depends on the animal and what they need.

I worked for 5 years in a veterinary clinic and to this day, I look after the animals of my friends and family, and cut their animals' nails. About: Although I do not have a furry friend of my own I am a dog lover who would love to get to spend some time with your pets. I got all of my experience through been helping out my neighbours and walking dogs since the age of 10. I’m currently in school part time for the summer so I have plenty of time to help out other pet parents care for their dogs. About: For as long as I can remember, I have always loved all pets and animals. Growing up in Italy, my family always loved to have a non-human family member to take care of. My fondest childhood memories were playing with our labrador retriever, Lola, and later adopting another dog named Spenk (named after a popular anime cartoon charater in Italy at the time) in my adolescence. We also had pet chipmunks at one time! I continued living with and taking care of dogs while I lived with host families in Austrailia and New Zealand in my 20s. When I moved to Canada and later met my now-wife, she was a dogsitter through Rover. It was through her that I was able to discover this opportunity and help her with the various responsibilities that came with petsitting. I find taking care of pets in this way to be so rewarding - it boosted my mood, and helped get me moving! Unfortunately, my wife is no longer able to continue being a petsitter due to the committments of her current full-time job. However, since moving to the National Capital Region, we have regularly watched our friends' pets, both at our house and theirs. We both agree, that we really hope to have a pet of our own one day, but for now the best way to fill that void is for me to continue petsitting. I always find it so exciting to have a new "friend" be apart of my day that I can't help but give them my undivided attention. No matter this age, size, or energy level of your pet, I will always stive to give them the exact amount of play, walks, bathroom breaks, treats, and overall attention they may need. We're very lucky to live in a very walk-able neighbourhood near the Gatineau River and Lac Leamy, so regular walks are doable. Pet owners need to have a great deal of trust in their petsitters. Whenever I watch pets, I love to have constant communication with the owner - sending them regular updates and photos throughout the day. Even if their pet is having no problems and seemingly a very happy time, it's still important that the owners know that so they feel more at ease. We thankfully have a very large backyard which would make bathroom breaks very easy, however, at the moment our yard is not fenced, so I would only feel comfortable taking them on bathroom breaks both on-leash and supervised. We're very lucky to live in a very walk-able neighbourhood near the Gatineau River and Lac Leamy, so regular walks are doable. Additionally, we live in a bungalow with a door that closes, so we can block off stairs if that is also a concern for you.

About: I am a veterinary assistant who has been working in the vet industry since 2021. I have dealt with many different types of animals with different needs. I have experience in administering medications and completing nail trims, as well as cuddling and petting! I feel comfortable caring for all sizes and breeds. I began house/pet sitting for my coworkers in the summer of 2024 and realized that I enjoy caring after all of these pets and learning their different personalities as well as spending time with them. I am very well versed in reading body language from both cats and dogs, and will promise to give your pet the care they need. I will take very good care of your fur baby and treat them as my own! I am a student at university, but am not in courses throughout the summer. I work longer shifts from 8:00 am until 5:30 pm from Monday to Thursday during the summer. About: Hello, my name is Jennifer! I am a social worker student from Gatineau. I love spending my time outdoors, hiking and biking and would love to bring your fur friends on some adventures or simply to fulfill their alone time with cuddles. I currently have two dogs; Rosie a three year old Rottweiler and Tess a two year old miniature Daschund. I have had them since they were pups so I have had my fair share of experience with youngsters. My dogs are a big part of my life and I love caring for my friends fur babies as well. I have had two cats in the past and have experience to care for them. I had been on Rover during COVID and I am now back due to being a full time student and the love I have for this job. I also have a car wich makes it easy for me to schedule a meet and greet and bring your dog on some adventures. Français/English I am currently a full time student wich gives me a lot of free time during the summer to fulfill your pets needs. I have a car wich helps with flexibility. As I am currently only offering dog walking and drop-in visits, I will make sure to set a meeting beforehand so we can make sure everything works on both our sides, as well as your pets side. I make sure to come during the time set beforehand to visit your pet. A time frame will be offered. I am very open to what I can offer during the visits, walks, feeding, time outside, mind stimulating games, simple training or just hangout. The drop in visits and walks are for a 30-45 minute period.
