Brenda and Aksel came by for a meet and great before Brenda’s walk with Poe. They asked great questions and demonstrated how easily they could handle my sassy sweet Poe. I got home after a long day to a tired, peaceful pup who had obviously had great care and lots of love in my absence!

Seika looked after our dogs for half a day, and it was just what we needed during our short stay! She was kind, responsive, flexible, and was able to care for three small poodles in addition to her own. I could tell they had a great time and they were all tuckered out after a big walk and some playtime. Would ask her to care for our pups again and recommend her to anyone.

Artem was great with my dogs! He took them for a nice long walk and they came back happy and relaxed! He was able to handle my big dog really well and kept them both calm on the leash which can sometimes make them reactive. Very happy and will definitely book again. Thanks Artem!

About: Hi, I’m Alizée! 🐾 I’m a passionate animal lover, holistic nutritionist , and IT professional who loves being active outdoors 🌊🏃‍♀️. When I’m not trail running or surfing, I’m spending time caring for pets and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved ❤️. I bring the same mindfulness and attention to detail from my professional life into pet care, tailoring each visit to your pet’s unique needs. For three rewarding years, I had the honor of caring for my grandma's special needs elderly dog. This experience taught me patience, empathy, and the unique needs of senior dogs, enriching my bond with them. The last four years, my life was happily bustling with a high-energy dog who has been my four-legged partner-in-crime. From daily adventures to training sessions, I've learned firsthand the joy and dedication required to keep up with an energetic pup. These collective experiences have honed my skills in nurturing, understanding, and catering to dogs' diverse needs, making me an ideal companion for your furry family members! 🐾 I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to spend plenty of time outdoors with your pup . Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddle breaks, I can provide frequent attention throughout the day while keeping a consistent, balanced schedule. Your pet will enjoy a structured routine with plenty of love, exercise, and mental stimulation. 🛡️ Safety, trust, and a calm environment are my top priorities . Whether in my home or yours, I create a secure, clean, and comfortable space where pets feel relaxed and cared for. I closely observe behavior, provide reassurance and attention, and follow any special instructions you provide. My goal is to ensure every pet feels happy, safe, and fully cherished while you’re away, giving you complete peace of mind.

About: My partner and I have experience taking care of large dogs, senior and puppies, that require lots of activity and attention. I also have experience taking care of cats in the same household, and cats on their own. I love taking care of both cats and dogs. I currently work Mon-Fri 8-4:30, but available on lunch to take the dog out for a walk or let the cat in/out. I am up early so enjoy a morning walk which works well with dogs to give them some activity first thing in the morning. I follow instructions given to me by clients very carefully, and take them seriously. I clean up after the pets and make sure they are comfortable in the home.

Milena took Tilly for a lovely walk by the river with her dog, Cleo. Tilly gets along well with Cleo and they also played in the backgarden before and after the walk. Milena sent pictures and Tilly was clearly enjoying her outing.

Brenda and Aksel did a wonderful job with Ziggy! Kept me updated the whole time and sent me beautiful photos while they were on the walk. We will absolutely be reaching out again when we need someone to take Ziggy out while we are at work.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ucluelet choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
