My schedule is shift work so I have fairly flexible availability on my days off. It’s a rotating schedule of 12 hour shifts so I’m available for weekdays or weekends when I’m off! My cat is my child. I’ll treat your pets with the same love & care that I do my own! Will feed/walk/play with your pets & am happy to accommodate specific needs!

“Winston absolutely loves when Emma comes. She has such a way with dogs! I never hesitate to have her watch our baby.”

About: I've had pets my whole life but it wasn't until I adopted a dog of my own that I truly learned what it means to care for one. I now have experience with reactive and fearful dogs, counter conditioning, desensitization, and canine enrichment. I just received notice of an indefinite layoff so I will have all the time in the world to do something I genuinely enjoy. I feed both my dog and foster dog using enrichment tools(snuffle, puzzle, Kong, find it) trim their nails with a Dremel weekly, give them meds daily. They're always so excited for their daily walks, rain or shine. Though our foster boy needs to be bundled up to handle the cold. I believe following a routine is important. Pets will be fed when they're used to, given meds as prescribed by your vet. Light grooming if requested (I may charge for more challenging grooms. Details can be discussed). If your dog is afraid of nail trims, brushing or anything else, we can work together on cooperative care to make necessary care less stressful for them.

About: Hi, my name is Shannon and I am an avid animal lover. My family has owned dogs, cats, hamsters and guinea pigs since I was 8 years old. Currently, in my home, are two quirky 3-year-old pug brothers, one cuddly 10-year-old pug female, and the alpha of them all, a 12-year-old bichon-poodle mix. My fur babies are fed a specific diet, on a schedule, that includes supplements as well as medications. The 12-year-old male wears a diaper as he has a hard time (or chooses not to) control his bladder when in the home. It is checked and changed regularly. I walk the 3-year-old brothers 3-4 times a week, during cool weather, and have been successfully working on re-call, reactivity and pulling. I would love to be able to provide the same compassionate care to your fur babies as you see fit! I hope we are a good match and look forward to chatting more. Thank you! I currently work Monday-Friday from 8:35AM-2:45PM. I am available from 3:30PM-TBD Monday-Friday, as well as full weekend availability, and overnight if needed. I am a substitute teacher so I am also available every so often full days on Fridays and Mondays depending on DSBN schedule. I will ensure your pet's water is changed regularly and that they do not have access to anything that could cause potential harm - fragrances, sprays, diffusers, foods etc. If your puppy is an avid chewer I will create a space that is as free as possible from any household objects that may look fun to bite on, while also keeping on eye on your fur baby at every moment possible to correct, remove or replace any non-puppy friendly toys. I will respond to your pets needs as required for bathroom breaks, meals and treats. I will clean/change litter or training pads as they become soiled. I will ensure your pet is provided any necessary medication as directed based on time and amount.

“Wonderful person and so knowledgeable when it comes to doggies. We'll contact her again defiantly. Thanks Tessa!”

About: I have two dogs of my own—a sweet 12-year-old Goldendoodle and a goofy 3-year-old Bernedoodle—so I’m used to caring for both older dogs and high-energy pups. I love going for walks and staying active, and I know how important it is for dogs to get out during the day (especially for those all-important sniff breaks!). I genuinely enjoy spending time with new dogs, getting to know their personalities, and making sure they feel happy and cared for while you’re away. I work full time as a firefighter! My schedule is fairly open during the week when I am not working. I understand the need of getting my dogs out for a walk before I go to work and especially when I get home from a long shift. I see the excitement when they get out and I’d love to provide that to your dog I have a fenced in yard and my bernedoodle loves playing with other dogs in the yard I can always bring them over for some social time if that is something discussed prior to!

About: We are huge animal lovers, and we have owned dogs for over 10 years, and my children have had dogs all throughout their childhood. I work from home most of the week, so I am home most of the day with our dogs Alice and Belle, our cat Pongo, and the kids when they return home from school. My children also include a toddler who is 2.5 yrs, who has also grown up with all these loving animals around him. Alice is our dog, very friendly with everyone - she is almost 10 years old, she is an Akbash. Our other dog Belle will be 5 this year, and absolutely loves everyone! They are both so wonderful and make our family complete. We have had both doggies since 8 weeks old, and have been through training, nipping, and everything in-between. We have a fenced yard at our bungalow, so your dog is able to make him/herself at home wherever they feel comfortable. My children are avid dog lovers, and will give your dog so much hugs and attention! I am so incredibly fortunate to work from home, so I am here mostly all day everyday with our animals. I already have 2 wonderful doggies that are on a schedule, and adding yours will be a wonderful addition! My 3 older children are in highschool and at least 1 is home as well with me after school. I have a fenced large backyard for your dog to play around with our 2 girls! I am able to utilize a crate if you choose, but our dogs do not require one. Your dog is more than welcome to find a comfy spot on one of the dog beds, on the couches, or with any of us.

About: With three years of hands-on experience, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I’m happy to adjust my schedule to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well looked after anytime you need. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I always make safety and comfort my top priorities. I feed them on schedule, make sure they have fresh water, and keep their living space clean and cozy. I give them lots of love, playtime, and attention so they feel secure and happy while you’re away. I follow any special instructions you provide, from giving medication to sticking to training routines. I respect your home and keep you updated with messages and photos, so you always know your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: Hello I’m Dani, welcome to my Rover page! I am so excited to play with your dog. I have a Cocker Spaniel girl named Paisley who is super friendly with other dogs! I have had animals my entire life (dogs, cats, birds, fish, lizards, headgehogs, ducks... you name it I’ve probably had it). My house has always been the house people would bring the animals to -we are the animal people- and it’s fantastic! My passion for furry friends means tons of fun for your pet. I’d love to take them for a walk or even a run as I do love to train outside. I am a huge fan of fetch and frisbee and love to be outside! If you're looking for a place to board your dog. I have over 5 years of experience boarding dogs and house sitting professionally. I have a cozy little house with a fully fenced in backyard. We live on a very quiet neighborhood very close to trails the beautiful Lake Gibson Conservation Area! It’s so lovely to walk around the board walk and see the swans and ducks and I’m sure your pupper will enjoy it as much as I do. My passion is for your pet’s happiness and you can be sure that they’ll be treated like family! I'm currently on mat leave so I have lots of time to play with your puppers. I spend so much time outside with my baby and dog and would love to have your pet join in the fun! I live in a very quiet neighborhood on a dead end street five houses away from the park. It's got lots of sidewalks and we also have fully fenced yard.

About: We all know that it can be challenging for our pets to be apart from their humans - for dogs especially - so why add more stress to their lives by taking them away from the comforts of home? I specialize in pet-sitting in your home. Harmonizing with your pets’ unique routines, my foremost goal is to make each of your animals feel loved and heard throughout the care experience. I ensure there is no interruptions to the comforts of their daily lives, from personalized feeding and walk schedules, administering medication, satisfying special dietary needs, and beyond. I have been looking after people’s pets since Summer 2023 and have found a talent for bringing ease to even the most wary of animals. From a big-lunged Boxer looking to be loved, to a shy, elderly Ginger cat that chose me as her best friend, I pride myself on using my empathy to quickly earn the trust of every pet I have cared for. I am open to working with dogs and cats of any size or age. Book me for an in-house sitting, drop ins, or walks! I currently work Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4:30pm, near Brock University. If you are located close by, I can take care of your pets during my lunch hour All day availability for pet care is offered Friday-Sunday Work full-time? Going on a trip? Book me any day of the week if your pets are used to being alone for 6-8hrs! When I look after your pets, their needs come first. I am stepping into their home, so I abide by their routines, comforts, and needs. At the meet & greet, you and I will discuss what their average day looks like so that I can emulate the same experience while you are away. I personalize schedules for feeding, walks, and level of socialization. I have experience administering medication and working with pets with disabilities (blindness, lack of hearing, etc.)

“Carmelina did an amazing job taking care of our kitty. She went above and beyond in her care and was extremely responsive to all of our messages - even though it was a major holiday. She sent us tons of photos (not that you can ever have too many) and was over all an amazing person to work with. This was our first time using Rover and we were feeling nervous about the whole process, but Carmelina put us instantly at ease and we knew that our cat was in wonderful care while we were gone. I highly recommend her.”

About: I am a caring, gentle and compassionate person with a great love for animals. I am also responsible, conscientious and have experience supervising children, which is very similar to looking after animals for a number of reasons. I hope that I can meet with you in the near-future to discuss pet-care needs! I currently have Mondays, Wednesdays, and weekends available for house and pet-sitting services. If this fits your schedule, let's talk about services and connect more! I will not be caring for pets on my own home. I would prefer to house and pet sit for busy owners. Let's connect and discuss services.

“Ava was amazing. We found her through this app and she was in our area and we thought we’d try out. I have to say she truly went above and beyond what she needed to do. Our dog Howie loves attention and loves walks, and Ava was not short on giving any of those. We had a very professional transaction with her. She was always on time and truly showed our Howie a wonderful time. His eyes light up when she comes in, as if she was part of the family. I would highly recommend Ava for any of your animal care. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.”

Remy J.
“I've never seen a better caregiver than Remy, especially when it comes to pets. They are a loving and caring soul, and will go above and beyond when making sure that these fluffy companions are well looked after. They are attentive to their daily needs--from good food schedules to walks and exercise--but they are also not ignorant of any special needs as well. If something seems awry, Remy will notice and address it. Grooming? You betcha. Medical needs? It'll be taken care of or delegated to someone with the appropriate expertise. Socialization? Couldn't have anyone more patient for it. If you've got pets, Remy'll be able to help.”

Parisa R.
“Parisa took care of my cat Lou for a weekend when I was out of town recently, and she was a great pet sitter. I've got a pretty particular feeding schedule and routine for him, including playing with him before dinner, and giving him wet food on a little licky mat, and she followed it through to a tee. She was very responsive when I would check in with her over the weekend to ask how he was doing, which I greatly appreciated, and she sent me some photos and videos, where he seemed very relaxed and happy, which made me feel much more assured. I asked Parisa to take care of him because I already know her to be a caring, attentive, and diligent coworker, and so I trusted her fully to take care of Lou while I was gone. I would certainly recommend her for anyone who is looking for help with their pet care.”

Danielle W.
“Danielle is loving and responsible dog caregiver. She has a genuine passion for pups of all ages and you can tell how much she enjoys being around dogs and animals in general. Danielle can be relied on for walks, dog sitting and boarding services too. She has years of experience working with big and small breeds. Danielle is friendly, always greating you with a smile. I have trusted her with my dog many times and anyone would be lucky to have her as a dog caregiver.”

Sadie D.Star Sitter
“We had the absolutely pleasure of having Sadie care for our pets while away for several days. We have two giant dogs and a very frail geriatric cat. Not only did my dogs immediately take a likening to Sadie, so did my cat (whom was normally quite reserved). Sadie took such great care, sent photo updates, spent extra time with them and made them feel loved and cared for. I cannot recommend Sadie enough! So glad we were able to be connected :)”
