About: I've owned dogs for the majority of my life in Chile and they were always an important member of my family. I've taken care of them at every stage, from energetic puppies to lovable elderly people. Although I haven't yet provided professional pet care to others, I can't wait to begin providing compassionate, caring treatment in Canada. I'm dependable, patient, and an animal lover. I'm not working right now, so I can take care of your pet whenever you need me. Your pet will receive a lot of love, care, and outdoor time I live across from a big park in a quiet, pet-friendly apartment that's great for playtime and walks, provided the owner is okay with it. We are only two adults in the space (pet lovers) and we are going to create a calm and secure atmosphere for your pet. I will make sure your pet is comfortable and well-cared for by carefully following your instructions.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I have my spouse (Riley) and another family member (Deanna) available to step in and care for your dog, but only with prior notification to you. I’ll always keep you informed and ensure a smooth transition of care if necessary. We have a secure, fenced yard with plenty of space for small dogs to run and play safely. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate their routine to ensure they feel comfortable. Our Chihuahua loves to play, so your pup will have a friendly companion to interact with. For dogs with special needs, we have baby gates available and stairs leading up to the bed and couch for those with back issues. My home can easily be adapted to provide comfort and support for your furbaby.

“Marie & Harvey are everything anyone could want when it comes to having someone care for you pets! At our “meet & greet” they asked all the right questions, honestly ones we didn’t even think about. They made sure to send updates and pictures throughout the 5/6 days our pups were with them. When we picked up the pups Marie had everything ready by the door making it quick but it still took 20 minutes because we just loved chatting with Marie ? This was our first time using a “dog sitter” versus a kennel and it will be our choice every time now! Our puppies were the most relaxed and peaceful they have ever been when picking them up after time away and they even seemed a little sad on the drive. This showed us that they loved and enjoyed their time with Marie & Harvey, that they were cared for during their time and not just looked after. Marie & Harvey gave peace in being away from our pets that we didn’t know we could have!”

About: I recently rescued a small chihuahua, 3 years old who is very sweet and timid. I also have a rather larger cat living here who leaves others alone and does his thing. He is used to dogs, from Larry and Sophie and my parents precious dog. I previously owned 2 chihuahuas, Larry who passed away of old age at 19 and my rescue Sophie who recently passed at 16. So years of experience with these two from puppy into their senior years. Larry and Sophie both needed medication the later years in life due to congestive heart failure so I am very familiar with senior pups who need a little extra care. Sophie was a rescue and not the nicest temperament so also experience with small dogs with high anxiety. I work in sales and flexible time at home, when I am not my husband is at home. Very little time alone for the animals if arranged in advance. Fenced yard. 5 year at home who is very familiar w small animals and knows to give space. Cat in the house who will also ignore other animals as it very used to dogs.
