“I felt very comfortable leaving my special needs cat in Lauren’s capable hands while we were away. She is professional, and a great communicator. Lauren sent pictures, and video of my shy cat Molly interacting with her. She really put my mind at ease. I will definitely call on Lauren again! 😊🙏”

“Holly is amazing! She sent me a lot of pictures and videos of my cat. She is very communicative and pays attention to how my cat behaves(food intake or pee/poo). Also she plays with my cat so well! I was worried because I have separation anxiety(don’t we all? haha) but I am confident that Holly will take care of my cat as much as I do!”

Caring for pets is an important part of my life. About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals from deer to horses to your basic pup or kitty. I welcome any animal with open arms. I have been around animals for as long as I can remember so I understand the requirements they have to being happy and healthy. I’m happy to take your dog on a long walk or to play fetch in the backyard and if your dog wants to be a couch potato I’m just as happy snuggled up watching a movie. Same goes for all the adorable cats, I will gladly play with a laser or I’m happy petting them until they are purring non stop. Not to brag or anything but I was the only one in my house who could bath my dog 😆 I work part-time, so while some weekdays can get a little busy, I always make sure pets get the love and attention they deserve. Weekends are my favourite! I’m usually free during the day and work in the evenings, which means plenty of time for walks, playtime, and extra cuddles while its early. Pets are always a priority in my routine!! Your pets’ happiness and well being will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they’re well fed, have fresh water, and get regular potty breaks or a clean litter box. We’ll enjoy fun playtime and the exercise they need to stay healthy or, if they’re feeling a bit lazy, we’ll snuggle up and relax together. No matter their personality, I’ll treat them with the same love and care I’d give my own.

“I highly recommend, they are caring about yr pet, trust worthy and reliable!!! I cannot fully express how amazing they were with my fur baby. They came for at home visits and made sure my cat had his every need met. They even brought a radio for background noise for him and filtered water for him to drink. That's how much they care about the animals. They brushed him and gave him cuddles. Every day they texted updates with pictures. I will be using them as my cat sitter from now on. I 100% trust them with my cats care.”

I was kind of nervous leaving them with someone unfamilar but she did a meet and greet before I went away and her calm demeanor put any worries I had at ease. She kept me up to date with how they were doing and sent me pictures every day. They took to her like white on rice. “Jenny was quick to help us out on pretty short notice. We just moved to Welland so my regular sitter cancelled. Hunter usually runs away when anyone comes in to the house, but Jenny sent pictures of him hanging out with her and said he Meow- talked to her on just the second visit. So she has his seal of approval, which is most important!”

About: I am a trustworthy and dependable animal sitter located in Port Colborne, and most importantly, a big animal lover! I live in the country on a farm, and have a large backyard to accommodate off-leash play time and provide ample exercise for dogs, while ensuring their safety and security. I have years of experience with both cats and dogs, and have one cat of my own. While I currently do not have a dog, I have raised Shetland Sheepdogs, Golden Retrievers, Rough Collies, Poodles, and several mixed breeds as well. I also offer dog boarding services for longer stays. Pick-up and drop-off services are available upon request. Dog boarding requirements: All dogs are required to have all their boosters up to date, including DHPP and Rabies. They also need be up to date on their flea and tick medication (this is important for the country). Please let me know if the dog is not spayed/neutered if over 8 months. I have a very flexible schedule working from home for my own small business, so I have lots of time for the furry friends and lots of wiggle room to accommodate! The house is large but I can easily crate your dog if needed. The farm sits on 63 acres so there is plenty of room to enjoy a good walk. I would like to know if the dog has any special needs or quirks. Also handy to know are common commands the dog has been trained with and how they interact with other dogs/humans etc., as well as anything else you think is important for me to know. I look forward to spending time with your pet!

Toktam J.
“I have known Toktam since early in 2021. She had courageously rescued a beagle from a laboratory as part of a group of animal lovers who wanted to save these abused animals from being destroyed. Unfortunately, one of her two existing dogs brought out the worst in her latest rescue. She engaged Dog Tales Rescue in Vaughan to help her navigate the situation. After much effort and several painful bites, it was clear she would need to rehome the beagle. That's when I met Toktam and Hero the beagle. We worked together to gain Hero's trust and spent many hours together in home visits and walks. The day came when we thought we were ready, and Toktam brought Hero to my home, spent the night with us and left without Hero the next day. This is one of the most courageous acts of love I have ever witnessed. Fast forward to today, and Hero is thoroughly enjoying his only fur-child home. His first mom, Toktam and I still connect and I share pictures and stories of Hero. She misses him but has since adopted another fur-child for her pack. You could not have a more experienced, behaviour educated person caring for your pet. She was always reliable when we made plans and is an excellent communicator. I have nothing but admiration for and confidence in Toktam, and thus have no reservations in recommending her to you.”

“Arden has been a pet sitter for our dog apsley on many occasions and we adore her! Apsley is a big dog with a lot of challenging behaviours when walking and she handles him really well. I’d recommend her to absolutely anyone. Sometimes she asks to be paid in snacks, but you just have to insist and she’ll accept cash. 5/5 stars”
