About: Hi there, My name is Natalie and I live with my partner Jesse, our 12 year old pug Bernie and our 4 year old Terrier mix, Lucy. We are huge dog lovers and often spend our weekends going for long walks and volunteering for a local animal rescue. We would treat your pet like our own while they are in our care. Please note we require a meet and greet first before agreeing to take care of your dog. Let me know if you have any questions. I hope to hear from you! Natalie Every day we make sure our two dogs are cared for and happy. Our joy and purpose comes from seeing them living their best lives. Safety and lost dog prevention always comes first. It is so important that a dog is secure and never given the opportunity to be in harms way.
About: I absolutely love animals and would be honoured to care for, exercise or check on your fur baby! It doesn’t matter how old or young your animal is. I will love them like my own! I am currently taking a break from my sales career. I have two children and two dogs. I enjoy hiking or walking with my dogs. The safety of your animal is very important to me. I will take every precautions to ensure your animal is safe and secure in my care.
“Jennifer was great! Our puppy was so well cared for. Communication was excellent, with lots of updates through the day, and we felt totally at ease knowing our dog was in good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I have loved and cared for animals with empathy since I was a child. I was always very drawn to animals, and felt a strong connection with them. Whatever you need, I would be thrilled to meet, and care for your fur babies. I do have a full time job but I've just been off with an injury so im home all day and I have lots of free time to take care of your fur babies. Walks, visits, house drop ins, doggie day care. I would be honored to look after your animals. I have a very large fenced yard, and 2 friendly young dogs for your pup to play with. They are never outside without me monitoring them.
About: Think of this as a boutique, in-home pet boarding retreat — not a kennel. With 30+ years of hands-on experience raising, hosting, and loving just about every creature imaginable — cats, dogs, fowl, rabbits, rodents, and even tortoises (yes, really) — your pet will be in wildly capable hands. Puppies who need gentle training? Seniors who need extra patience and TLC? Shy pets, quirky pets, “my pet is kind of weird” pets? I’ve met them all and adore them deeply. Our home is designed for calm, gentle pet care, nestled on a peaceful 100-acre forest property (freija.ca), which means plenty of fresh air, enrichment, and stress-free vibes. No kids, no chaos — just a quiet, loving environment where animals can actually relax. My husband and I both work from home, so your pet is never left wondering where the humans went. Someone is always around for companionship, playtime, belly rubs, or just existing together (a highly underrated skill). And then there’s Honey, our resident adventure cat and official Welcome Committee. He absolutely loves meeting visiting pets and brings big “friendly camp counsellor” energy to every introduction. If you’re looking for a sitter who treats your pet like family, understands animals on a deep level, and can handle everything from puppy zoomies to senior snoozes — you just found your place. 🐾💚 My husband and I both work from home, which means your pet gets constant supervision, companionship, and engagement — ideal for puppies needing routine, senior dogs who require extra care, and pets who don’t do well being left alone. There are no children in the home, just experienced adults who speak fluent “animal.” Our home is set up specifically for gentle, low-stress pet sitting, tucked away on a quiet 100-acre forest property (freija.ca). It’s perfect for dogs who love sniffing adventures, cats who enjoy calm observation posts, and pets who thrive in a peaceful environment. No crates by default, no overcrowding, and absolutely no chaos. If you’re looking for reliable, experienced, in-home pet boarding where your pet is treated like family (and maybe a little spoiled), you’ve found it. Your pet brings the personality — we’ve already got the love, patience, and forest vibes covered.
“First time using this service and taking our puppy to Rachel & Robert for the full day dog daycare. They both greeted us at our car and were very friendly. Magnus went with them in to their home with no problem and seemed to have had a very enjoyable day at pickup. We will certainly be booking with them again and recommend their services.”

About: Since the age of 12 I have volunteered at the Oakville Humane Society, my grandfather was a well known breeder and dog judge who taught us well. I spent two years training obedience courses with Derek Thomson, Milton, On. Worked 20 years at the former Ralston Purina Dog & Cat plant at which I learned a great deal in pet nutrition. Have owned dogs both large and small my entire life. I love almost all animals with a preference for dogs and horses. I am currently retired with recent employment as an emergency EA/Supply Teacher at Peninsula Shores school in Wiarton and have a valid Vulnerable Sector Check in place. This position is sporadic until end of June with me being home and available the majority of the time until end of June. July and August fully available. Dogs have freedom to roam in the top floor of my home approx 1800 ft. Chain link fencing in the back yard is in progress - until completed all pets will be taken outside on leash without exception I have numerous walking routes and enjoy dog walking. Overnight boarding only for crate trained fur babies. Our back yard is welcoming with a sunny deck and lots of shade for those hot summer days.
“Today was my first time using Rover and Laura was helpful and she and her kids took great care of my boy. I will definitely utilize her services again and look forward to my Jake playing with all her babies, fur and human.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life—I’ve had them since I was young and have spent the last 12 years caring for others’ pets as well. I recently lost my beloved French Bulldog, who required a lot of dedicated care, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease. Because I’m completing my Master’s degree from home, I have a flexible and adaptable schedule. This allows me to be available during the day for walks, feedings, and ongoing supervision, ensuring pets receive consistent, attentive care rather than being left alone for long periods. I treat every pet like they’re my own. I know how important routine and a calm environment are, so I do my best to keep things consistent with what they’re used to—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or just how they like to relax. I’m very mindful about safety in the home and always make sure pets are supervised and comfortable. I also keep communication open so you always know how your pet is doing. These things were so important to me with my own dog.

“Nikol was very pleasant and quick to return messages. I was kept updated as to how our dog was acclimating which made leaving him less stressful. Nice property set back in the woods which is great for walking. Very accommodating for drop off and pick up times. We will use Nikol’s services again!”

“Lindsay was awesome! She took good care of June, and June got along famously with her dog Ty! She provided pictures throughout the day and kept me posted on how June was doing. Will use her again and again! Thank you Lindsay 😊”

About: I grew up with many pets in my house - 3 dogs and 2 cats! I went for daily walks with the dogs in my local ravine growing up. Each dog having it's own very unique personality and quirks provided me with a breadth of experience. I believe obedience and rules are the foundation of a well behaved dog. As well, a well exercised dog is a well behaved dog. Structure is very important and I will always make a dog work for their treat. I try to continue any on-going training for the dogs I am walking or sitting. I was finally able to get my own dog as an adult - who I have had since 2021. I rescued my dog, Arlo, when he was ~4 months, and have given him a loving home since! I worked with a trainer when I got to him and learned a lot about dog (and human) behaviours. I am home during the days with a flexible schedule, so walks at any time of the day can work. Generally a morning, lunchtime, or late afternoon walk are the preferred times. I currently have daily mid-day regulars that I walk. Depending on the dogs personality and suitability with other dogs, I walk with a pack or individually. If a dog is staying with me, I take them on a walk first thing if their owner hasn't already done so. This way, they are starting on the best foot forward. I have a dog at home, so I do an intro of the dogs on 'neutral' territory, there is a laneway and Bruce trail across from so I ask that their owner does a quick walk with the dogs and myself. I do potty breaks every 0-2 hours, either to go on a short walk, or ball throw. I also do 5-10 minute training sessions to keep the dogs entertained and stimulated. I also ask that the dogs bed and an article of clothing of the owners comes with them, so they have a space that is their own and familiar. This will help the dog settle in. Favourite toys or treats are also recommended.
“So happy that we came across this great App otherwise we wouldn't of known about Jessica. We feel very comforted knowing that our fur babies are being well taken care of. Thank you Jessica. We look forward to our vacation now knowing we won't have to worry about Holly & Sky.”

About: It can be so difficult to find somewhere you feel comfortable with to leave your pets. We treat your dogs as our own! We have two small Boston terriers who are both spayed and good with other dogs (aged 11 and 8). Lot's of affection, love, and care is given to our animals, and we have a country home with lot's of space and property for exercise and fetch! I work from home so am available to be home with your dog to be let out often. Feel free to reach out if you want to schedule a meet and greet! I currently work from home so am available to let dogs out frequently. We do travel from time to time but will list my availability accordingly. My dogs are not crated, however we are happy to use a crate if this is how your dog is trained. We do allow our pets on the furniture and to sleep in bed however again-whatever your pet is used to is what we will do. We do have a fence at the road of the property however this is not completely enclosed, so I would be putting the dog on a long rope or lead to be safe. I am out in the country with a large yard and bush, but do not leave the dogs unattended outside for any period of time-supervision always. We understand that every dog is taken care of differently and will follow whatever guidelines you are wanting for your pet.
