Kayla took great care of my doggies when I was gone overnight. They were fed, watered and walked. Photo updates were provided as well which helped put me at ease that my dogs were in good hands. Kayla seems very kind.

About: Hi there, My name is Natalie and I live with my partner Jesse, our 12 year old pug Bernie and our 4 year old Terrier mix, Lucy. We are huge dog lovers and often spend our weekends going for long walks and volunteering for a local animal rescue. We would treat your pet like our own while they are in our care. Please note we require a meet and greet first before agreeing to take care of your dog. Let me know if you have any questions. I hope to hear from you! Natalie Every day we make sure our two dogs are cared for and happy. Our joy and purpose comes from seeing them living their best lives. Safety and lost dog prevention always comes first. It is so important that a dog is secure and never given the opportunity to be in harms way.

About: I work from home, and am home all day. I live across from Exhibition Park in Guelph and can take your dog out for socializing with others, or go on quieter walks around the neighbourhood. I am a champion pet cuddler! I would love to spend time with your dog or cat and make them feel like royalty. Before moving to Ottawa this spring, I volunteered at the Guelph Humane Society. I am accustomed to dogs with different personalities and needs. I enjoy doing enrichment activities, playing with a favourite toy, practicing their training, or just relaxing! Whatever your pal needs. I have experience taking care of my own late dog who had dementia and who was deaf and vision impaired. I am also experienced in taking care of new adoptions who need decompression time, limited contact but their basic needs met. Whatever the situation, I'm your gal! I work from home on a flexible schedule so I can always give your pet the care and attention they need when they need it. I have a small backyard for bathroom breaks, and live on a quiet street. I have a small crate available if needed, but I love snuggling on the couch and in bed with any furry friends! I can continue any training you're working on, or we can just relax together. Whatever you need.

Stefania and our boy Huck are getting along great! He’s a finicky boy with new people, so we’re over the moon happy that he has a new friend and care provider. Stef has been great communicating and sending us pics during visits. Thank you Stef for taking such good care of our sweet boy.

Lydia is very reliable and took great care of my cats. She really gave me peace of mind while I was away. Communication was smooth and easy throughout. This job requires a lot of love, and luckily she has it. My lovely cats were calm and well when I got back, which really shows how well she cared for them. I hope Lydia will continue doing this work — I would definitely book her again in the future and highly recommend her!

About: I have owned and lived with dogs, and cats for the past 10 years. My current dog is high energy and we'll titled. I'm happy to work with puppies, and provide a little anxiety relief to your pets. Looking for someone to take your dog out while your on a long shift, longer walks than your able, or social/training enriched walks, I'm able to help. I grew up on a hobby farm and am more then happy to spend time with ducks, chickens, rabbits etc. I currently work full time from home, if you have wifi I can be there all day. I have a dog as well, he can come for social play dates, or stay home. For longer stay, my furbaby can come along for doggy socialization or I can alternate on a plan that works for both of us. Dogs love routine, keeping to their routine is safest. I practice positive reinforcement for pets. For dogs who pull on walks ii prefer a harness, it's safer for us and them, and have plenty of dual clip leashes to work on heeling with them.

Jenn is incredible! If I could give her 10 stars I would! She went above and beyond caring for our three large dogs, and I could tell from every update how happy and loved they were. She handled everything with such care, patience, and genuine affection — it honestly felt like they were with family. I can’t thank her enough and will 100% be booking with her again! ❤️🐾

I am available at short notice or would be willing to come and meet your furry friend before making a formal arrangement I have a fenced in patio and live close to many parks. Living on a side street offers a safe opportunity for your dog. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
