I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Over the years, I’ve opened my home and heart to foster pets—helping cats find their forever families and even fostering a dog through R&R Rescue. I’ve also volunteered with Team Dog Rescue, supporting their important work. Whether it’s snuggles, playtime, or a calm presence, I genuinely enjoy the company of animals of all kinds and treat every pet as if they were my own.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m happy to spend quality time with your cats or dogs, and I can also housesit if needed. Dogs: I’ll let them out into a fenced yard and keep them company, or take them on short walks if that’s preferred. Cats: I can feed, brush, clean the litter, and, of course, give your furry friend the attention they deserve.

Lydia was amazing. She was very communicative throughout the entire process. She was super flexible and understanding during the booking process, as I went back and forth before deciding on a combination of drop ins and overnights. We came home to a very happy and well cared for kitty. He even sat on her lap (a rarity for him), which I think showed how comfortable he felt. Lydia went above and beyond, and we also came home to a very clean home, and a sweet drawing of Finn. Thank you Lydia! Finn approves!
Lydia is very reliable and took great care of my cats. She really gave me peace of mind while I was away. Communication was smooth and easy throughout. This job requires a lot of love, and luckily she has it. My lovely cats were calm and well when I got back, which really shows how well she cared for them. I hope Lydia will continue doing this work — I would definitely book her again in the future and highly recommend her!

It’s also helpful to know about any dietary restrictions, allergies, or medical conditions. If your dog is sensitive to certain triggers or reactive to other dogs on walks, let me know how you usually handle it so I can keep them comfortable and safe. And if your pet has any special words, cues, or routines they know, I’d love to learn them too!
