“Our first time using Rover, we were in Oliver for the Half Corked Marathon and found Odessa. She was kind and caring to our dogs and sent us updates throughout the day with photos. It was nice to know our dogs were being well cared for. Highly recommend.”

About: My husband and I absolutely love pet sitting as we travel and can’t have one if our own. Rest assured your pet will be showered with love and attention We are guilty of a little spoiling, sorry. :). I am home full time. We sometimes camp but always enjoyed taking our animals with us. We like to go for walks, play and cuddle all fur babies. We no longer have pets of our own. I have pet beds and dishes. I also have a crate. Pets are not restricted in our home and can enjoy being on the furniture and with us no matter what we are doing.

About: I have a dog whom is deaf and has hip dysplasia I do my best to provide the care she needs. She is still young so is active and love to play out in the yard. The only things that are on my schedule is a few hours on Tuesday nights and a few hours on Sunday mornings so having such an open and flexible schedule really allows me to help give the care pet owners need when coming to pet sitting. When it comes to pet sitting, it is best to follow the instructions given from the owner and to give them updates so they have that reassurance and to make sure that the pet is as stress-free as possible because of them being without their honour is just a stressful for them sometimes.

About: I was in Pony Club, so I have experience in and around barns and all the residents who might live in one. I currently own and operate an animal sanctuary, where we have had goats, chickens, sheep, pigs and cows. I have always had dogs and cats. I deeply love animals and feel very strong connections. I am able to work my schedule around walks or check ins. I work downtown in Oliver and can make arrangements to ensure I can provide quality care and attention. I strive to make a connection with the animals in my care. I try to be attentive to their unique needs as well as giving them quality time, whether it be for a walk or even chatting while I check in or fill water or food bowls.

“Ainsley came on super short noticed and changed her plans to house sit for me. She is amazing with all the pets and was even able to bond with Willow my semi feral puppy. I felt totally comfortable having Ainsley in my home and would highly recommend her. She is reliable, responsible and totally awesome.”

I am open to anything!! Based out of Oliver. I am very flexible with days and timing as I currently work from home! I can be available when you need. “Julia went above and beyond while watching our baby girl Winnie! She came to our airbnb while we had went to our wedding, and she took all the stress out of worrying about if Winnie was okay - we knew she was in great hands. Not only did Julia do an amazing job by talking Winnie for a walk, sending us photo updates, and doing all tasks, she completely cleaned up the mess we made getting ready for the wedding! Allowing us to come home to a clean home and a happy pup. We are so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I have grown up around dogs and cats, and have always loved looking after those relatives or friends when needed. I did Rover in Vancouver for a year where I was responsible for looking after several dogs, and cats. I had a variety of clients in terms of sizes, ages, and personalities/behaviour. I regularly did walking, house sitting and day visits. I have a little bit of experience caring for both older dogs and cats as I have lived with some who require more attention. I am very understanding, attentive, communicative, organized and flexible. I have a pretty open schedule due to being done with university summer courses, and I am super flexible until mid-September. As of right now it's wide open. Unfortunately, I can’t offer home services due to my living situation but I’m more than happy to do walks to your and more especially your pet's needs, similarly for drop-ins and for sitting.
“Raina does a great job with our dog Callie which leaves us with nothing to worry about except to enjoy our vacation. I would highly recommend Raina to take care of your pets and home.”

About: I have worked in animal medicine for 27 years and owned/operated my own pet sitting business. I love all animals and have cared for birds, pocket pets, dog and cats. I am comfortable giving oral/topical and injections (ex. Insulin). Two years ago I spent a year getting certified in animal hospice and palliative care. I know leaving a little old timer at home is stressful and requires someone with advanced caregiving skills. I welcome dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents and small reptiles. I am working from home. Animals who are cared for in our home are rarely alone. I can be available for visits during daytime or evenings. I have a quarter acre fenced yard. We have a pug named Bruce and a border collie named Biscuit. We live in a bi-level home in a quiet neighbourhood close to hiking trails that we frequent often. Pocket pets enjoy their own room and birds are upstairs with outdoor lookout.

Connie B.
“Connie Baker is a very caring loving person. She loves and plays with all animals. Any dogs she has looked after in the past love to go back for a treat and a cuddle whenever your walking by. They are made part of the family instantly and welcomed by all family that visits. Connie makes sure they are walked several times a day and takes them down to play with others providing there is someplace she can take them. They all have there routine, with face washes each morning and brushing. I can’t say enough I would never hesitate to leave them with Connie and her husband.”
