About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs. My senior beagle faced significant health challenges, giving me hands-on experience with administering medication, managing severe allergies, and providing specialized care. I’ve been a lifelong animal lover, owning pets of all kinds throughout my life. Currently, I am available for drop-in visits up to two or three times per day. My flexible schedule, as a parent with school-aged children and a gardener, allows me to dedicate time to your pets. Whether it’s walking, trips to the dog park, feeding, administering medication, or simply ensuring your pets feel loved, I’m here to help. Your animals will be treated like members of my family while you’re away. I also offer overnight dog sitting at my acreage, provided it’s a good fit for my household, which includes children and other pets. I’m happy to accommodate special requests and can provide a vulnerable sector check upon request for your peace of mind. Let me make your time away stress-free, knowing your pets are in caring and capable hands! I am currently a full-time pet sitter with a flexible schedule. Since my children are school-aged, I’m available for daily drop-in visits throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. I can accommodate up to two to three visits per day to ensure your pets receive consistent care. My schedule also allows for seasonal flexibility as a gardener, so I’m available year-round to meet your needs. Let me know how I can best support you and your pets! I focus on making your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. I follow your specific instructions for feeding, exercise, playtime, and any special needs like administering medication. “I highly recommend Alyssa. She made sure my cat was well loved and did all the ‘jobs’ associated with caring for a cat without complaint. She played with our cat and the cat loves her.”

About: I have experience caring for both cats and dogs since I was in high school. Growing up I helped care for dogs in my neighboured and would routinely pet sit for my aunt who has two dogs. I do have experience caring for both senior pets and animals that have complex medical needs. That being said I have experience with medication administration with animals. I have also always grown up with either dogs or cats in the home. I currently have a full-time daytime job as a counsellor. On that note as my schedule is client based, I rarely work a full 8 hour day. My hours are flexible, in that if I know about a commitment through Rover, I can block off the necessary time in advance. Currently I am available on Sundays and Mondays all day, and most weekday evenings. Depending on how far the pets are from my place of work and home, I can be flexible with offering walks even on my work days. I have experience with crating animals, so I am happy to do so if that is what your pet is used to. I will not be boarding pets in my home as I have two cats who have never been introduced to other pets in the home. I am happy have open conversations to ensure that I am following similar routines that your pet is adjusted to in your absence.

“Sierra was great to deal with. Lots of communication and she even brought in my Amazon packages. We had an unfortunate situation with a bird getting into our fireplace and she was also quick to let me know about it. My dog enjoyed all the extra belly rubs. I would highly recommend Sierra!”

About: Hello! I am a fellow dog owner and dog lover. I had over 15 years experience as a professional service dog trainer in BC, before I moved to Alberta and started a family. Although I worked primarily with retriever-type dogs, I have experience handling many different breeds. Sadly, last year we had to say goodbye to our 2 elderly dogs, a large mixbreed and small shih tzu, who were beloved members of our family. Currently, we have 2 young and friendly money standard poodles , named Dash and Jett. I am also a certified groomer with a wide variety of experience. I have fun grooming my dogs, and welcome other grooming requests from clients. We are a young family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and we love spending time outdoors and having adventures. I often miss my dog handling days, so I would love to get my dog fix through dog walking and pet sitting services. I will occasionally need to bring my children with me for drop-in visits and walks, so animals would need to be child friendly. I am able to adapt my handling style to the needs of individual dogs or by the request of owners. I am familiar with most training aids and training styles and I can easily maintain your current training and/or work on basic skills. I can provide both on and off leash dog walks depending on your location/preference. I'm currently working part-time, between 7-9AM and 2:30-4:30PM (split shifts), but I am otherwise at home and available during the week and on the weekends. I have a good sized fenced backyard that backs onto a large greenspace with plenty of trails nearby for leashed adventures. Inside my home, dogs have free run of the dining, kitchen and living areas and I'm happy to crate dogs as directed by owners. I also have a very friendly mid-sized poodle puppy to keep your dog company! To ensure that your pet is safe and comfortable, communication is key! And I will regularly send photos to keep you updated on our adventures.

About: I have owned a Maltese dog, one hedgehog, 2 Guinea pigs and my current Yorkiepoo. I am retired and just love animals. Have worked as Respiratory Therapist for 45 years, and want to help pet owners with the care of their "fur babes" when they are away from home. I used and loved the service so much, I wanted to help out pet owners the same way. I will be fairly flexible in availability. I have a fenced yard with one small 5.5 year old yorkie poo. Ringo is very well behaved and loves smaller dogs. Will be fine with dogs that have lower energy and are well socialized. I am retired and fairly flexible in availability. I live with my husband of 37 years, who is also retired and can assist with watching our pup, while I pay special attention to yours. I have a fenced yard and a large park in front, therefore, lots of space for special adventures . Our small Yorkiepoo walks daily off leash as well as on. We walk, at least 2 times per day. However, I will walk your furbabe as many times as deemed necessary. Our 4 level split home has lots of space for "exploring", with no off limit rooms. Supervision will be provided at all times. This includes on our furniture, which we cover with comfy blankets. We are a clean, non-smoking environment, and believe in comfort for human and pet alike.

They have been crate trained but now being old enough they don’t require the crate anymore. I’m very good at following directions given for taking care of animals, I’m a crazy dog mom and leave PAGES when I leave my own pups so I know how important it is to follow the rules given!

Chelcea S.
“Chelcea has become part of the family now as she has walked our dog Nuzzle many times. Recently she stayed in our home for a week and watched all the pets. Tiger our cat was loved and snuggled as much as Nuzzle was. She maintained the aquarium and hamster cage as well. Chelcea kept us updated with adorable videos and pictures of the fun they were having. She gave a bath to Nuzzle after she was rolling around in the dirt, and thought it would be nice for us to come home to a clean dog. Nuzzle is a very shy dog, but gets just as excited to see Chelcea as she does us when we come home. It definitely brings a peace of mind having somebody stay in your home, not only to ensure that your pets are well cared for, but your home is safe too. We highly recommend Chelcea to love and care for your pets on a daily basis, short term or long-term care. She will not only love your pets, also will leave your home clean and tidy. I think Nuzzle and Tiger were sad to see her leave, I’m sure they’ll be excited for her next visit!! Thank you very much from one happy fur momma 🩷🫶🏼💕 🐾 🐶 🐈 Lisa-Mae M”
