About: Farm girl, who's grown up with a dog or 2, always around. In all my growing up years, I've come to really love the presence of a pooch helping out or just being by your side. I've worked at the Westlock Veterinary Center for 12 years. I would love to take in puppies. Altho, I don't teach puppy classes, I find an interest in caring for younger ages. Your dogs/puppies may be around ponies, my crazy nieces and nephews 😉 and my 2 corgis, of which one is a tripod. Would love to give your beloved furry friends the best care!!! I work 4 to 5 days a week, but can take them along with me to work, as long as they are somewhat crate trained. My job at work is very flexible and easy to work with. Weekends would be a preferred time as I'm home on weekends. But, I'm totally willing to work with you on times and days. My 2 corgis are outside/inside dogs. They always come in at night into their kennels. Off and on, during the day, they have free range of my yard. So, I will take any breed of small dog, that is indoor/outdoor.

About: Hello! I’m Hannah, I’ve had pets for my whole life but started looking after other peoples animals in 2011 with my mom and her pet sitting business. Most of my pet sitting experience was overnight stays and check in’s, as well as having the regular walks and play time! I’ve always had a love for animals and they’ve always seemed to enjoy me too :) I’m offering check in visits, dog walking, and overnight stays and boarding in my home :) I don't have a preference to any certain dog nor as a certain breed! Big dogs or small dogs too! Message me! I work shift work and usually have the whole week to tend to your furries! Ive always had a love for animals and I will always have time to fit it into my schedule :) I have lots of walking trails, fenced large area minutes from my home and a fully fenced yard. I have a large place to crate your dog (if needed) or you can bring their own beds. If i’m looking after your animal in my home or yours I will try my best to keep the routine you have going!

Rylyn was perfect throughout. Our outdoor kitties loved her and she handled our inside kitty who is typically reactive and scared of strangers so well. I would definitely recommend her to others and book her again in the future!

About: I have had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. So you could say that pet care has come second nature to me. From feeding to medication I am your girl! Full disclosure, I do have two part time jobs and am hoping to work this into my free time! If you are looking for someone who is available 24/7 I may not be the best fit. Though I am willing to accommodate! I am very attentive, willing to cater to any needs you and your pet may have! I am open to staying over night as needed.

About: Having owned two wonderful dogs in my life and been a special friend & "aunt" of several other dogs and some cats. I am highly experienced and motivated to help you care for your beloved furry family members. I am warm, friendly and calm around animals and I find they are naturally drawn to me. I am trained in reiki and use gental reiki energy to balance and relax your pets in your absence. I do contract work and I am writing a book, so my time is flexible and I am available to spend quality time with your pets. Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 42 sitters on Rover for Pet Sitting in Westlock. About 86% of Westlock sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Westlock stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:

  • Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
  • House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
  • Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.

Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Westlock choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
