About: Loving family of four. Mom (38), Dad (39), Daughter (11) and Son (3) who have a Yorkie (6) and Cat (11) looking to love your pet while your away. Although everyone would love your pet, the primary responsibility would be to daughter (11) who recently completed her Pet Sitting Course with the Edmonton Humane Society. She is looking forward to gaining experience. We can work with your schedule. Mom and Dad work Monday through Wednesday from about 8am-430pm. Mom works from Home Thursday and Friday and can be home on weekends. Can work with your overall needs. We have a fully fenced large yard and large home. We can either crate your animal or work with you on alternate options.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life. All of my own pets were adopted. Rescue animals hold a special place in my heart and helped build the foundation of my experience working with animals that have a wide range of temperaments, backgrounds, and needs. I’m often the person friends and family rely on when they need a trustworthy pet sitter, and I currently provide multiple dog walks daily for repeat clients. These households include small, medium, and large breeds, some with multiple dogs in the home. I focus on caring for one pet household at a time, which allows me to give each pet consistent attention and maintain their normal routine. I regularly care for dogs with very different personalities and energy levels—from playful puppies to calm seniors. I also have experience supporting dogs recovering from injuries, caring for pets that require medication, and working with anxious or reactive dogs. Animals tend to respond well to my calm, patient energy. I’m very attentive to body language and behavior, which helps me respond appropriately if a dog is unsure, stressed, or needs reassurance. My goal is always to maintain each pet’s normal routine and provide calm, consistent care so they feel safe and comfortable. I communicate clearly with owners, send regular updates and photos, and treat every pet and home with respect. Reliability is extremely important to me. Before the first booking, I take time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and needs so their day, walks, and care stay as normal and predictable as possible. Please request a meet-and-greet before new bookings to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. While dogs are my primary focus, I’m also happy to care for cats and make sure they receive the same attentive and reliable care. I’m available seven days a week for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting, making it easy to fit care around your schedule. My flexibility allows me to respond to your pet’s needs whenever they arise. Safety and trust are extremely important to me. I communicate clearly with owners and treat every pet and home as if it were my own. I always share updates and photos so owners can see their pets are doing well and happy. I focus on caring for one pet household at a time, which allows me to give each pet consistent attention while maintaining their normal routine so they are comfortable. I take the time to understand each pet’s temperament, preferences, special needs, triggers and routine so they feel safe. During walks and visits, I stay attentive to their behavior and the environment, making sure they’re stress-free. In clients’ homes, I follow instructions carefully, respect routines, and maintain a calm atmosphere. If boarding a small or medium dog in my apartment, I am patient and maintain a calm environment with focus on supervision, routine, and structured walks. “Zenna did a great job housesitting our 2 large dogs for a week! Her communication was great throughout the initial booking, meet and greet, and our trip. Our dogs eat raw and can be a bit of a handful, but she took the time to ask all about their routines, temperaments, and quirks during the meet and greet. She sent update pictures throughout our trip, and when we got home our dogs seemed happy and well taken care of. Our house is clean (even with a shedding Husky). I'd definitely feel comfortable have Zenna watch our pups again!”

As a concerned "parent to my babies" I had reservations about leaving Millie and Ella with someone as they are only a year old and I haven't been away from them much.
