About: I have had the pleasure of having dogs of all ages a part of my family. As a teen, I took part in training my family’s two golden doodles at the ages. Recently I welcomed my first dog of my own to the family this past fall. My now 6 month old golden retriever is developing to an obedient, playful and energetic teenager. I hope you give me the please of providing the same care to your babies! I do live a busy lifestyle, and currently am working rotational shift work. Unfortunately that means I’m not the best fit for a typical Monday-Friday. However I have the advantage of several consecutive days away from work in a row. If you have any specific dates you’re looking for a sitter, dog walking, or playdates with my golden please do not hesitate to reach out. I have a big (non-fenced in) back yard, and located next to walking trails through Wolfville. Our dog is crate trained in our home, and if you would like the same for yours, we can make that happen.

About: I believe what sets me apart from other sitters is my unique combination of skills, experience, and passion for animal care. I have undergone professional dog obedience training, which includes understanding their unique needs, training them with positive reinforcement methods, and ensuring their overall well-being. In addition to this, I have extensive experience in senior pet care. I understand the special attention and patience required to care for older pets, including administering medication, assisting with mobility, dietary changes and providing comforting companionship. But beyond these skills, I think what truly sets me apart is my genuine love for animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing them with the love and care they deserve. I believe this passion shines through in my work and is felt by the pets I care for. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine. While I work from 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday, my evenings are dedicated to providing care for pets. This includes walks, playtime, feeding, and any other necessary services. On weekends, my schedule is much more flexible. I am available all day and can provide a range of services, including boarding. This allows me to spend quality time with the pets, ensuring they receive the attention and care they need while their owners are away. I understand the importance of consistency in a pet’s routine, so I strive to maintain their usual schedule as closely as possible. Whether it’s their feeding times, walk times, or playtimes, I adapt my routine to fit theirs. This way, pet care seamlessly fits into my life, and I can provide the best service possible for your furry friends. Caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home, is always done with the utmost respect and consideration for the pet’s needs and comfort. In my home, I ensure that the environment is safe, clean, and comfortable for the pets. I have a dedicated space for them to rest and play. I also maintain a strict feeding schedule and ensure they have plenty of fresh water available at all times. Playtime and walks are a part of the daily routine, and I make sure to give them plenty of attention and love. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow any specific instructions provided by the owner. I ensure the pet’s routine is maintained as closely as possible to what they are accustomed to, in order to minimize stress. This includes feeding times, walk times, and any medication or special care they might need. In both scenarios, I prioritize communication with the pet owners. I provide regular updates and am always reachable should they wish to check in on their pet. My goal is to provide peace of mind to the pet owners, knowing their furry friends are in good hands
