About: I grew up with both dogs and cats and have cared for animals throughout my life. I bring 15+ years of hands-on animal-care experience, including working in two veterinary clinics and teaching canine and equine first aid. I provide reliable, attentive and compassionate care and am happy to follow each pet's individual routine and needs. I have a flexible schedule and am generally available Sunday to Saturday with daytime availability for drop-in visits, dog walks and pet care. I am also open to occasional weekend and overnight bookings with advance notice. I enjoy staying active and spend time caring for my own animals, including my horses and cats. I can work with individual pet routines and am happy to provide regular updates to owners while they are away. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: Very comfortable with medication administration and any special needs your dog or puppy may need. Nurse by profession with a great love for all animals. I’m available from 5pm Friday until Monday morning 8am full care. If you have other needs through the week please message to discuss - here to help in any way with your pet care needs. My golden retriever Wilson both has free rein of the home and comfortable in his kennel. I would prefer kennel trained but if well mannered - fine to have free in the house.

About: I have been a dog owner, dog walker and dog sled guide in the past. I love dogs and have training experience too. My schedule is busy but flexible. I work from home and am on Rover as a hobby . I am adventurous and outdoorsy. I like hiking and camping and cycling. I have a vehicle that is great for dogs and I will always follow the owners rules. I am capable of administering medication of any kind. I am happy to work with the owner to find solutions that work for everyone. Since being on Rover I have worked with many different dogs and have had amazing experiences. I have a lovely 6 year old male Australian Shepherd who is high energy but very well trained. For dog sitting, he will be present in the house so compatibility is the most important thing. I believe there are benefits to both dogs in spending time together and settling in the same space. This will be one of the goals we work on together. I generally work from 9:30 to 5:30 and go out most evenings when possible as I am quite busy and social. I typically spend the day at a desk answering phone calls and emails. I live in a home that has a fenced in yard with a couple dog houses that curious pop ups like to explore. the fence is about 6 feet high with no holes.

“Megan was great! My Wife and I went to our daughter's graduation at Del and needed someone to take care of our 8 month old Siberian Husky, Eva. We are from a long distance away and were worried about who we could trust with Eva. After careful consideration, we decided to ask Megan as she would take Eva in her home, she has a beautiful dog of her own, and she has a good area to take the dogs outdoors. All day long Megan kept us very well update (with pictures) on how Eva was doing. I would definitely recommend Megan to anyone who is looking for a sitter. Also, Megan's dog is awsome! About: I have experience with positive reinforcement dog training and care, from young dogs to seniors that are blind, deaf, have allergies, need medications, ones that have special needs and diets, or rescues with PTSD. I currently work from home most days a month so I will be present and allow for as many bio breaks as they might need. If there are days I am required in the office, every effort will be made to ensure prompt return. When I have to run errands, I try my best to keep my time away to a few hours max. This is a fur babies come first home which is my principal foundation of how they will be loved and cared for. I have a bungalow style home which is great for pets that struggle with stairs. Even the sofa and bed are situated to accommodate accessibility for seniors and littles that want to be independent and make themselves at home. Do you have a little that isn’t a fan of taking potty breaks in the rain or snow? We have a little protected area for those that are particular. We also have a fully fenced backyard in a quiet area that is surrounded by nature, not far from the rails to trails. I also have two laid back senior toy poodles that will help keep your fur baby company and feel at ease. If there are any special circumstances or concerns you have regarding their routine and care, please let me know so I can ensure we maintain consistency. Each pet is different in personality and in what they need to be happy and cared for.
