About: My experience with pet care involves my household animals as well as sitting I’ve done in the past. At my house right now, I own 3 indoor cats and 1 German shepherd dog! This leads to a very busy household with a very highly active dog and needy indoor cats. We love our house being busy with animals and have never had a home without animals. Before our German shepherd we owned a flat coated retriever which was a breed my fathers mother actually brought to Canada as our family used to show dogs and we briefly showed our flat coat in dog shows as well. Overall, I am just an animal lover and treat my pets like family. I currently work part-time as a server so my availability is super super flexible. I can easily switch shifts if needed to make it work with what you’re needing. In my home, my dog has a backyard where we love to play fetch, he also has a doggie pool so he can cool off when hot. My cats also have a cat tree and lots of toys. They also have dog/cat beds to have a safe space to sleep. There are also multiple water dishes around the house to keep them hydrated.

About: I have been around animals all my life. Have personally owned dogs of all sizes as well as cats, small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils and fish. I have been pet sitting and walking for around 7 years. Always been a huge animal lover and am extremely passionate about proper husbandry especially when it's comes to exotics and rodents. I have experience with puppies under a year, special needs seniors and dogs with reactivity. I work full time Tuesday - Saturday, from 9am - 5:30pm although my job is flexible so I do have the possibility of switching shifts to make my availability work for you! I am free all other hours of the day, 7 days a week. I have a lot of experience with large/strong dog breeds so will have no problem taking any size breed for an outing! I have taken care of senior animals and have had to administer medication, so overnights with seniors or special needs animals are welcome as well.

I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and also grew up on a farm with horses, rabbits, cows, and even a donkey at one point! I volunteered at a rescue farm and co-oped at a veterinary clinic in high school, and have experience giving different types of oral medication to both dogs and cats, trimming nails, and providing basic training. I currently live in a small apartment with my 2 cats and am always missing my parents' giant dogs back home in Ontario, so I'm hoping to fill my time caring for (and snuggling with) some furry friends to help cure my dog-sick heart! I am very active and enjoy going for walks and hikes in the area and would love to be able to bring a pet-in-need along! I am a hardworking, reliable individual and I really do believe that all pets are family and should be treated as such, with love and respect. Please consider me for any dog-walking or home visit needs :) Give your pets a cuddle for me! I work full-time but during the week I work from home and the hours are short and flexible. I do also work some longer shifts on weekends but those are scheduled far in advance, therefore I would likely not accept requests for days I know I will be gone 8-12 hours. I treat all pets as if they are my own - with love, compassion, and respect. I understand that every animal is different and has different needs, quirks, and tendencies and their care should be adjusted accordingly. Whenever I enter a client's home I make sure to respect their rules and belongings, and remember that I am coming into the pet's space and need to initially proceed with caution and earn their trust. Care should be fun but safe!
