“Michael is AWESOME!!!! This was our first time using this App, we glad that we found Michael. He is very professional and very helpful. He understands puppt behaviors, was able to take good care of our puppy. He even gave us some training tips to help us train our puppy at home. Highly recommended and will book him again!”

“Alison is our favorite dog sitter. She is very responsible, great with communication, really takes the time to understand our dog’s needs. She works from home but always takes time to take our dog out for walks or play with her. You can really tell she loves dogs. We couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Deidre was amazing with our two whippets, Oliver and Finley! She has a spacious, fully fenced backyard where the boys had a blast running and playing. Her two pups were super friendly and got along great with ours. Deidre was incredibly easy to communicate with—flexible, responsive, and made the whole experience stress-free. We’d absolutely book with her again!”

“Darby is wonderful! We are proud repeat customers. Darby is flexible, responsive and super kind. I feel very comfortable leaving our girls with her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone.”

“Bobbie is the best. Took great care of Barry. Was friendly and nice to work with. She’s flexible with her schedule, so I can pick up my pup when it works best for me. And she’s really reasonably priced.”
“I usually would not leave my pet with someone I have not met, but when another sitter canceled on short notice, Desiree went the extra mile to accommodate us. Her friendly, prompt and clear communications assured us that he would be in good hands. She sent photos and updates through the day. Our Aussie was asleep in the car within minutes of pick up, which means he played hard all day. He will be excited to return!”

“Wow! Jennifer and her family are truly the people you want to leave your golden with. I got incredible updates with photos, Zoey got to go to a base ball game, and came home happy and sleepy. Cant wait for Jennifer to watch her in the future!”

“Our little Odie loved his time at Rochelle's! She took such good care of him and he came home calm and relaxed every day. Great communication and wonderful location. Highly recommend!”

“We were very happy with our dogs care with Pamela. Our dog got the attention and activity with other dogs that he needed while we were gone for a day. And he was tired and happy when we picked him up 😀 It was nice to receive pictures thruout the day too! Will definately use Pamela's services again for our pup!”

I specialize in senior dog care — gentle walks, mobility support, medication administration, and low-impact enrichment. Dogs enjoy daily exercise, supervised play, puzzle toys, and cozy home comfort. I send prompt photo updates and detailed notes, and offer flexible scheduling to fit owners’ needs. I offer dog-only daycare for small dogs (under 25 lbs). Available Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, and weekends 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Regular photo updates and notes are sent after each visit. I care for dogs in my home in a calm, dog-only daycare environment (no dog sitting in clients' homes). My household includes an easygoing 11-year-old pug, Milo, and two friendly cats, Jewel (7) and Oliver (1); all are well-socialized and tolerant of visiting small dogs. I accept only small dogs under 25 lbs with friendly, social temperaments to ensure safe, relaxed interactions. Feeding & meds: Individual feeding by schedule; medication administered as directed with written instructions. - Hygiene & safety: Clean, dog-proofed spaces; fresh water always available; immediate cleanup of accidents. - Communication: Photo updates and a brief report after each day covering potty, play, meals, behavior, and any concerns. I prioritize calm, supervised socialization and a stress-free routine to make visiting dogs feel safe and happy alongside Milo, Jewel, and Oliver.

About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have a genuine love for being near animals and taking care of them because they brighten my day. I am currently in college I want to try to make pet sitting a part time job so I can save up for my future. The apartment comples I live in has a dog park where a lot of dogs go and have fun, if there is any type of schedule by the owner/owners I would follow it. I usually try to relax on my free time, reading books and enjoying art, my hobbies give me time to take care of and play with the animals that I care for. The doors are locked unless I or someone with a key unlocks them, i make sure that the dogs have a leash on before I open the door and that there are no cats near the door to run out.
“Caitlin has been amazing with Nai’a! Though Nai’a is an anxious pup, she liked Caitlin instantly when we met the first time. Since then Nai’a has stayed over at Caitlin’s a few times and once Caitlin watched her at our house. One of the biggest challenges with Nai’a is that she runs away from her sitters. But, with Caitlin it’s finally been working out well and I feel so relieved to have found a regular sitter! Caitlin sends photos regularly and Nai’a seems to have fun at her house with her pups. Also, she is really sweet and flexible. Thanks so much for everything Caitlin!”

This summer I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. I have experience with both small and large dogs, as well as cats, and I treat every animal like my own. This summer I'm home in Olympia taking a college course, so my days are flexible and my focus is simple — hitting the books and spoiling some fur babies! About: Animal lover here! I take very good care of dogs of all kinds as demonstrated by my volunteer and pet sitting experience. I have volunteered at shelters with scared dogs large and small, fostered and trained shelter puppies, was a babysitter for puppy raisers with Guide Dogs for the Blind and served client families as a professional pet sitter. My role for others' fur babies is to provide care so that they have their needs met in their parents' absence. I am a great surrogate parent! I like to keep dog routines continued to minimize stress on pets and their people. For parents that don't have the time or for dogs that can use additional exercise, I can take dogs out for walks. I have also been a cat mom of 4 at once and love cats too! I have my dog, Brodie, and my routine revolves around him. I make sure he gets the memtal and physical stimulation and exercise he needs to be healthy and happy. I want to help my clients and pets with this as well for their families. I have a fenced yard and very dog-friendly set up at home. At client's homes, I respect the space and help pets feel secure in their routines with attention and care.
“My Annie just *loves* Sonia and her awesome back yard! Sonia is so kind and loving with the dogs.... a gentle spirit... that makes it so easy to leave our pet with her knowing she will be loved, played with, given the time and attention she needs. It is so comforting and a huge peace of mind, leaving Annie with Sonia. I have no worries in doing so. And the pictures throughout the day are such an added bonus! I would totally recommend Sonia to anyone looking for daycare needs for their precious pup!”

Jennifer was awesome! Our dog was so excited just pulling in her neighborhood every time she was staying with Jennifer. Her picture update was so adorable and wonderful to see throughout our days without our wonderful Emme. Jennifer’s house and yard are set up perfectly for comfort and interaction all day long! We are coming back into town later in July but you will be on a much-deserved vacation. Thank you so much!

Bobbie has been fantastic with both of my dogs. Lily and Luke get excited to go hang out with Bobbie and Athena every day. Bobbie has been very kind, communinicative, and flexible with my schedule. I am grateful to have found someone who works so well with me and my dogs!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bush commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
