About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. Been around many different breeds, ages, and sizes of dogs. I have done pets sits up to two weeks in the owners home with multiple dogs at once as well as homes with both cats and dogs. Currently a Stay at home Wife with open availability. Just looking for a little extra Income and any excuse to meet new four legged friends. I have a fenced yard and 2 very friendly dogs. One male Newfoundland and one female Pomeranian. Both are fixed and very sociable and friendly with other animals. In my home dogs get let out first thing in the morning and roughly every 2-3 hours during the day until bedtime around 10-11 pm. When caring for pets in others homes I follow whatever schedule and needs are specified by the owners. I have lots of availability and am flexible to whatever the pet needs.

About: (Provided details for breeds of pets I cannot watch at the bottom) (Note for new families: I am able to do on base and off base services) I love furry, feathery, and scaly friends to the moon and back! I have an open schedule, and I try to be as accommodating as possible. I grew up with what I feel is almost every type of animal imaginable, so nothing gets past me. I have also grown up around many litters of puppies, so I have experience bottle-feeding and attending to needs. I also have dealt with animals diagnosed with dementia and other health problems they just need a little extra love and time is all! I also have handled disabled pets including missing appendages and paralysis. I love being able to give pets the attention and time they need and deserve while the owners can be worry-free. Dog breeds I cannot watch in my home are pit bulls, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, chow chows, and wolf hybrids. This is just part of the navy’s housing policies. Pet care is my priority! I currently don’t have a job since I just moved to this area a couple of months ago so I am completely available to give furry friends the attention they need. Since I am not in a position to take pets into my own home I try to be my absolute best wherever I am! I am a big advocate for respect not only to others but their property as well so when working with clients and their homes I hold myself to a standard of leaving everything as it was unless specifically told otherwise. Doing this can also help me build trust with the pet simply as an acknowledgment that I understand that it is their territory and I am in their space.

Very late on my review but Farin took such good careof my Rosie! We took a day trip out of town and every time I told my husband at this time I will check in Farin already updated me few minutes before on how she was and sent pictures I loved it! I had to drop off Rosie early morning and she was up and ready to take her! Rosie seemed very comfortable and got along great with her pets. Thank you Farin! Appreciate you taking care of her the whole day! Definitely would go back to her and recommend for others to choose Farin for your next doggy day care!

About: Hi, I'm Estefany! Thank you for considering me to care for your furry family member. I've been a dog lover my entire life and have been caring for dogs since I was young. From raising my own dogs to pet sitting for family and friends, I've always enjoyed giving dogs the love, attention, and care they deserve. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I'm committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. I currently offer: 🐶 Boarding 🐶 Doggy Day Care 🐶 House Sitting 🐶 Drop-In Visits 🐶 Dog Walking My home in Armona has a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and enjoy plenty of outdoor time. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with lots of belly rubs, I'll make sure they receive personalized care and plenty of attention. I don't currently have dogs of my own, which allows me to focus completely on the pets in my care. I do have young children who love animals and have been taught to be gentle and respectful around them. For everyone's safety, all interactions between children and pets are closely supervised, and I only accept dogs that are comfortable in a family environment. As someone with NAS Lemoore base access, I'm proud to support military families and understand that changing schedules, deployments, training, and travel can make finding dependable pet care challenging. My goal is to provide reliable, flexible care you can count on. Communication is very important to me. While you're away, I'll send regular photo and video updates so you can see your pup having fun, relaxing, and receiving the love and attention they deserve. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your best friend! I look forward to providing a safe, loving, and fun home away from home where your dog will be treated like family. I can't wait to meet you both! 🐾❤️ I will provide the best outdoor time for my waggin' clients to release energy and provide an unbelievable experience every time we go out for walks and or for potty breaks. I will care and provide the best quality care for each of my waggin' clients! I will provide a safe, trustworthy and welcoming environment to accommodate all of their waggin' needs to feel Pawsome at home !

BJ took great care of my dog, Stocky. She seemed to handle dogs so well. And she was willing to keep him longer than promised pick-up time when we were delayed due to the traffic. I'll definitely have her as a sitter when we travel the area again. Thanks!

My rescued dog Jojo is very timid and slow to allow people into her trust. ReShan quickly won her heart and her trust, and mine as well. She is always so happy to see him, I know he treats her well. I have that peace of mind that she is well loved and cared for while I can't be with her. ReShan makes sure Jojo gets lots of walks and exercise, which she loves , and he brushes her coat so it shines. ReShan has also helped Jojo to make progress with her fear of dogs. She recently, at age 4 years, play-bowed to another dog, a first for her! ReShan also commands her respect and obedience, something I am still working at. Jojo and I are very thankful to have ReShan's help in our lives.

About: Hey dog lovers, My name is Alexis. I started walking dogs when I was 12 for the elderly and I loved it because I was helping people who are not able to walk or people who don't have time. Around the same age, I did volunteer work at the SPCA. I don't have the time to have a dog of my own full time (let's face it, they are like kids). I was raised around dogs in my youth and took care of them all my life, so i have plenty of experience. I also have been walking for WAG for 4 years and have a 5 star rating. As well as references and reviews! They will be treated like my own fur babies. I provide a doggy bed and treats. I’m available anytime now. I’m a full time student and this is going to be my priority until I finish schooling. I will have plenty of time for your pup! I have a house that I own in a very great community! The community I live in has a field for dogs and lots of places to walk. I do have a backyard but it has not been fenced in yet.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 16 and I’m now 26 . My friends, family members and my boss have trust me with their paw-friends & you can to🐶❤️ I also have experience working with elder dogs and giving them their medication as needed . I’ve dog sat for so many friends and family for the past several years and it’s honestly so rewarding 😊🌸 Pet care is already part of my routine because I enjoy spending time with my two dogs . I make time each day for feeding, walks, playtime, exercise, and giving pets the attention and care they need to feel happy and comfortable. 🐾 I treat every pet as if they were my own. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications (if needed), and lots of attention and affection. I also keep the home clean, secure, and provide regular updates to pet parents. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and companionship. My goal is to make pets feel relaxed, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. 🐾

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 250 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Burrel. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Burrel commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 250 sitters in Burrel, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

We've been there, cancelling meetings or plans with friends to make sure you can be there for your dog. Good news: You can easily find and book doggy day care in Burrel on Rover.
