About: Animals and pet care have been a central part of my life since I was a child. I grew up surrounded by dogs, taking care of not only my pets, but the pets of my neighbors as well (both dog walking and house sitting). In my early 20’s, I did some work dog training, and have experience in helping dogs learn strong commands through leash and treat training. I moved into the country side of Fresno in 2019 and saw there was an extreme need for cat care out here. So I now run a DIY cat sanctuary. I have experience in Trap and Release, as well as caring for kittens and special needs cats. My partner does dog walking in the Bay Area, and I have assisted him in both dog walking, boarding and sitting. Mac clearly had an amazing time hanging out with his new family for the day. Her kids were so sweet with Mac (they even discovered his high fiving trick!) and Mac loved hanging with them. “I had Bunty (my medium retriever mix dog) stay with Cindy for Day Care in Jan 2023. First, we did a meet and greet with Cindy to make sure it is comfortable for both Cindy and Bunty. Please do note that Cindy has two other smaller dogs as well as bird pets. In addition, she lives with small children. So please ensure that your dog will be comfortable in such a setting. Cindy's home has all the essentials. She has a big backyard with plenty of room for zoomies. She's got house full of people to give lots of love and attention. In addition, she lives just a block away from a park. Bunty stayed with Cindy for about 8 hours. Cindy is an excellent communicator, periodically sending pictures and videos to alleviate any stressed dog parent. She takes excellent care, did lunch, water breaks, two walks, and pee breaks. When we came back home, Bunty was exhausted which is the true sign of a fun dog day! I would definitely recommend anyone to keep their dog with Cindy. I know I'll be back with her soon.”

About: Animal care has always been a huge part of my life and my strongest passion. I grew up on a ranch so My life has always been about animal care. For many years now I’ve worked as a volunteer for many local rescues as well as independently fostered many animals as well. The feeling of saving an animal from a horrible situation, showing them how love and attention feels and finding them their forever home and family will always be my most rewarding accomplishments and such an amazing feeling. Aside from rescue work, I’ve been pet sitting since I was in high school. It started with family and friends and just grew over time. I have an amazing clientele that I’ve had the privilege to work with over the years and I enjoy creating that trust and bond with a pet as well, I feel that it makes the time away from their parents so much more comfortable and enjoyable for them because I know a lot of animals get separation anxiety because they don’t understand what is happening and change is hard. That’s also why I like to try to keep them on the same schedule and routine as much as possible to attempt to make the transition as easy as possible. I’m experienced with elderly animals as well as special needs and puppies too! There isn’t much I cannot handle lol. I also have experience with reptiles, farm animals and exotics too. I’ve taken nutrition courses, I’m certified in CPR and grooming. I’ve taken behavioral classes and poison control courses as well. I know how to administer basically any form of medication, including IV. I love to take pets on walks when they’re in my car because it helps with anxiety and it’s all around enjoyable for us both! I may be small, but I’ve managed to walk two huskies and a pit bull at once, multiple times so personally I feel like that’s impressive lol. I take them out for many potty breaks and I understand accidents happen in the house or car sometimes as well, so I use all natural cleaners when needed. I like to give many updates, weather it’s for drop ins then I’ll let you know when I arrive and leave and send pictures in between. If I’m house sitting I’ll send random pictures and updates through out the day/night and if for whatever reason I have to leave(to the store or to get food) I also let you know. And house sitting is the same. I also have my mobile grooming kit with me at all times too so If you think your baby needs a bath, their nails cut/grinded down, teeth cleaned, or even fur colored(100% vegan and animal safe dye only) please feel free to let me know any time. I have a simple form that I ask for you to fill out during our meet, it’s just basic questions like food schedules, any allergies, medication information(If applicable) vets information and misc. things You think I should know. I have had many people even just write me a care sheet which also works. I prefer the form/care sheet method just because everything important is right there so if eliminates any room for error. I make goodie baskets for new clients as well as the end of each visit I leave a little report card you know exactly how amazing they did! I make the treats in the baskets from scratch even if they have an allergy I can accommodate! I can make treats for all animals as well. Everyone is free roam in my house but I do have multiple size kennels set up in my home as well(they are comfy and cozy as well lol) so If you have a kennel trained baby who needs them, just let me know! I also can help out with kennel training too if needed. I have a fenced in yard but they are never unsupervised. And if we are going for a walk, I like to keep in inside my gated community where there’s hardly any traffic and there’s tons of grass to sniff and enjoy! Lol If I'm not out doing TNR and rescue work I enjoy spending time with your fur baby and would love to do this full time. I myself have a fensed in yard for everyone to roam and play, but still always being attentive and making sure everyone is safe too!
