“This is the second time I had Taryn and her husband Brandon dog sit my 2 dogs Baxter and Oreo, and they did an amazing job once again. Taryn kept us updated. My family loved all the videos she sent us. My dogs were again very well cared for, tended to, and entertained. They were made to feel as though they were part of Taryn and Brandon’s family. Taryn’s home has become my dogs home away from home. This time my family’s trip had to be extended a few days due to our flight being cancelled amidst a weather storm, so Taryn was very flexible and accommodating. About: I’ve had furbabies of every size and breeds since I was a child. Horses, dogs, cats and other large mammals. Never met an animal that doesn’t love me. The feelings are mutual. I am retired, and love fur babies to keep me company and help me stay active. I do require animals be vaccinated and spade/neutered. Not taking cats due to allergies. I have a fenced yard, room to roam, a small furbaby of my own. Furbabies can be crated or sleep where they choose. Always indoor at night.

About: I love animals!! I am experienced in administering medication if needed. A nice walk or play time at the park is always fun, I might even enjoy it more than them. Some fur babies experience separation anxiety when they are without their humans. I try to connect with them and build trust so that the temporary absence of their human won't be so stressful on them. I would not want your baby to feel uncomfortable in their own home so building trust is very important. I would like to note that I am open to care for almost any type of animal. I have had fish, rats, hamsters, birds, snakes, dogs, cats, bunnies, you name it. If I do not feel comfortable in the quality of care I am able to provide your pet based on specific needs (like exotic animals) I will communicate that to you and I will also do my homework. Knowledge is free! I am more than willing to learn I am currently an active foster for a non profit rescue in Oregon as well as a local non profit rescue. The most fosters I have had at once is 8, both big and small breeds. If you'd like to reach out to either of the rescues I am more than happy to provide their info to you I have 4 guinea pigs, 2 hairless guinea pigs (which require a little extra care) and 3 dogs. My mornings before work consist of feeding them. I start with the dogs,then the guinea pigs. I spot clean the guinea pig living areas (they live like they are royal), give them their daily vitamin C and urinary support tablets. After that I give the dogs their allergy chews (they have very sensitive skin). While at work I occasionally check my in home camera to make sure they are all okay. When I come home I repeat the routine with the guinea pigs except this time I do a full cage clean and give them their daily serving of veggies. It is rare, but sometimes I might forget to do one of the things during my morning routine so I will return home on my lunch to make sure it gets done, especially if it can't wait. I am very dedicated, they are my children. I will treat your babies as my own🧡 When caring for your pet in your home I like to go over any special tasks that are required, like feeding times, medications, diet, emotional triggers if any, allergies, etc. The more I know about your pet the better care I will be able to provide. I also like to become familiar with where their things are stored so that I can easily access it at any given time. If I am not able to locate something I will always contact you and ask for more details or permission to look in a different area if needed. While caring for my cousins pets I made sure we are stocked on anything I might need for them during my stay and always make sure to familiarize myself with where things are. I take them outside to potty every hour and a half or so depending on their food and water consumption. I can take them out more frequently if needed. I always make sure to put things back where I got them. If I bring my own treats I will make sure to present them to you and go over ingredients before giving them any in case of any allergy they may have.

About: Animal care has always been a huge part of my life and my strongest passion. I grew up on a ranch so My life has always been about animal care. For many years now I’ve worked as a volunteer for many local rescues as well as independently fostered many animals as well. The feeling of saving an animal from a horrible situation, showing them how love and attention feels and finding them their forever home and family will always be my most rewarding accomplishments and such an amazing feeling. Aside from rescue work, I’ve been pet sitting since I was in high school. It started with family and friends and just grew over time. I have an amazing clientele that I’ve had the privilege to work with over the years and I enjoy creating that trust and bond with a pet as well, I feel that it makes the time away from their parents so much more comfortable and enjoyable for them because I know a lot of animals get separation anxiety because they don’t understand what is happening and change is hard. That’s also why I like to try to keep them on the same schedule and routine as much as possible to attempt to make the transition as easy as possible. I’m experienced with elderly animals as well as special needs and puppies too! There isn’t much I cannot handle lol. I also have experience with reptiles, farm animals and exotics too. I’ve taken nutrition courses, I’m certified in CPR and grooming. I’ve taken behavioral classes and poison control courses as well. I know how to administer basically any form of medication, including IV. I love to take pets on walks when they’re in my car because it helps with anxiety and it’s all around enjoyable for us both! I may be small, but I’ve managed to walk two huskies and a pit bull at once, multiple times so personally I feel like that’s impressive lol. I take them out for many potty breaks and I understand accidents happen in the house or car sometimes as well, so I use all natural cleaners when needed. I like to give many updates, weather it’s for drop ins then I’ll let you know when I arrive and leave and send pictures in between. If I’m house sitting I’ll send random pictures and updates through out the day/night and if for whatever reason I have to leave(to the store or to get food) I also let you know. And house sitting is the same. I also have my mobile grooming kit with me at all times too so If you think your baby needs a bath, their nails cut/grinded down, teeth cleaned, or even fur colored(100% vegan and animal safe dye only) please feel free to let me know any time. I have a simple form that I ask for you to fill out during our meet, it’s just basic questions like food schedules, any allergies, medication information(If applicable) vets information and misc. things You think I should know. I have had many people even just write me a care sheet which also works. I prefer the form/care sheet method just because everything important is right there so if eliminates any room for error. I make goodie baskets for new clients as well as the end of each visit I leave a little report card you know exactly how amazing they did! I make the treats in the baskets from scratch even if they have an allergy I can accommodate! I can make treats for all animals as well. And if we are going for a walk, I like to keep in inside my gated community where there’s hardly any traffic and there’s tons of grass to sniff and enjoy! Lol If I'm not out doing TNR and rescue work I enjoy spending time with your fur baby and would love to do this full time. I myself have a fensed in yard for everyone to roam and play, but still always being attentive and making sure everyone is safe too!

About: I have been taking care of animals since I can remember. When I was 12 I started a little pet sitting business because I was determined to meet and care for any animal that I didn’t own. At 18 I was employed at a service dog training facility in Nipomo, CA and cared for as well as worked with up to 12 dogs at one time. I raised puppies from 2 months to 6 months for their program and helped get them ready for training as well. After that I found employment at a pet boarding establishment in Arroyo Grande, CA and worked there for 3 years while attending college. I have owned dogs, cats, rats, guinea pigs, fish, and snakes and enjoyed them all. I have a very active lifestyle and would love to take your pets on walks if that would be something they’d enjoy. I also live a few miles from a large, fenced-in dog park, and would take them on trips there if desired. I’m open to special requests and more! I am a stay at home mom of one and am available all day every day. I take walks every morning and sometimes in the evenings and would love to bring your dog(s) with me! I have a fenced-in back yard that is mostly grass as well as some rocks. If your dog is a digger, the rocks surround the outer edges of the yards by the fence, so they’d be unable to escape! I have one 6 year-old Doodle who is vaccinated and is a retired service dog from the facility I used to work at. He is a neutered male and loves any sized dog. He would prefer the company actually! Your dog would be surrounded by love, both human and not. I can crate them if need be as well, or keep them separate from my dog as well.

She needs some time to warm up but she loves making friends after she’s comfortable, as she is a rescue dog! I love to keep my home clean not only for others and myself but my the animals as well! A clean environment is one of my top priorities when caring for these animals! I have lots of dog treats, toys, and activities so your pup is never bored! I love going on walks and runs everyday, so I would love to bring your pup on a nice run or walk or even to the dog park!

I grew up on a farm in clovis as well as a farm in Oregon where I took care of the animals we had. Taryn’s home has become my dogs home away from home. This time my family’s trip had to be extended a few days due to our flight being cancelled amidst a weather storm, so Taryn was very flexible and accommodating.
