(I also feel that keeping a pet in their home environment is much less stressful for them than relocating them.) I'd be happy to come to your home to and provide quality care to your four-legged (or less) family members. I have owned my own home my entire adult life, so I will honor yours as if it were my own.

About: I am an experienced pet caregiver based near the Smith Mountain Lake area. I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of dogs, including large breeds, and am comfortable administering oral medications, providing bathing and basic grooming care, and handling dogs with different temperaments and needs. My experience comes from both personal and professional care. I have cared for my own dogs, as well as my parents’ and sister’s dogs, giving me regular, real-world experience with daily routines, exercise, feeding schedules, and overall pet wellbeing. About: I have worked in a small animal hospital for 15 years. Did equine vet tech For 5 years before returning to small animal with limited exotic animal medicine. I have experience with cats dogs horses And most rodents and personally own a snake. Limited experience with birds and reptiles. I went to school at SUNY Delhi for vet tech and SUNY cobleskill for horse training. My own dog is hand raised so I am familiar with dog care at all life stages. My cat is adopted and thinks she is a dog! And one of my horses is geriatric so I understand all of her special needs. Total per count is 2 dogs a cat 2 horses and a snake. I can give medications, do first aid treatment, and assist with basic medical procedures. No such thing as too needy of an animal! I like fur babies more than I like people most days :) Insured through PCI for cats dogs and pocket pets! I work as a vet tech at an animal hospital so am primarily available for walk after 6 pm during most week days, and am available all day on weekends! I have a fenced in yard but my neighbors dogs do get loose and cause occasional issues so I don’t risk Saftey and don’t offer in home service just in case.I will happily bring your dog on adventures with my dogs if you like! About: The benefits of dogs swimming are tremendous! Whether it's releasing energy in younger pups or offering joint pain relief in seniors, I am excited to offer dog swimming as a service in my outdoor pool. This service includes pickup/drop-off, a half an hour swim with life jacket, one on one swim coaching, picture and/or video of your pup and a post swim shower. This service is listed under Doggy Day Care for $100. Feel free to message me with any questions or set up a meet and greet at your house. I have completed training as a dog groom technician and work part time at a local grooming salon. I have experience in handling dogs of any age, especially seniors. I understand the extra care and attention senior pups should have. I also love the energy in younger pups and embrace the opportunity to provide them with effective, yet enjoyable exercise. In addition to walking dogs, I am also a trained dog groomer technician. This allows me flexibility to accommodate various scheduling needs. I will only take on one client per visit and will only handle two or more dogs if they live in the same home.

About: Homemade treats and lots of love and fun! We enjoy playing at home, going for long walks, playing at the dog park, riding with the windows down, belly rubs, kisses and cuddles. I don’t mind taking to the vet or pet stores to be of more help to you. Enjoy light grooming and brushing with your approval. No matter the size, they are all puppies or kitties to me lol. About: I’ve had a pet all my life. I’ve worked professionally with dogs for the past 3 years. I have a cat of my own as well. I’ve worked at a dog boarding facility as well as a doggy daycare. Currently, I have an internship Thursday-Sunday, 5 hours each day. I’m available every evening/afternoon after my internship. I'm a mother to a 10 year old little boy, 1.5 year old French bulldog, 5 year old pug, 2 year old hound mix, 1 year old boxer, 3 kitty cats and a ball python. I have had chickens, ducks, and a couple of goats in the past and am comfortable with just about any critter. I am currently employed part time at a Veterinary clinic in Salem. I have also worked 5+ years at a boarding/grooming facility for dogs and cats. I am comfortable giving medications and bathing if needed.
