About: We are a family of six with four young children, and we absolutely love animals! Since we work from home, your pet will have plenty of attention, love, and companionship throughout the day. We have a fully fenced backyard where we spend lots of time playing outside, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities for exercise, playtime, and fresh air. We will treat your furry family member like one of our own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. Since we work from home, we are available to provide constant care, playtime, potty breaks, outdoor exercise, and plenty of love for every pet in our home. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life! I grew up with dogs in my family, so caring for them and being around them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve gained plenty of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and keeping dogs happy and comfortable. My boyfriend also grew up with dogs, so we’re both very comfortable around them and genuinely love having them around. I understand that every pup has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with us. I’m new to Rover, but definitely not new to caring for dogs! I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day to give your pup lots of attention, walks, and playtime. I live downtown and love walking, so having a furry companion join me on my daily walks would be a plus! I also live a very active lifestyle, and on the weekends my boyfriend and I love getting out and about. We live by ourselves and have plenty of time to make sure your pup gets all the attention and care they need. I’ve grown up with dogs and absolutely love having them around, so I would treat your pup just like my own! My apartment complex has a fenced-in dog park where they can safely play and get some exercise. Since my boyfriend and I live by ourselves, we can provide a calm, comfortable environment with plenty of attention. I’m also happy to follow your pup’s normal routine, feeding schedule, walks, and any specific instructions you provide so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats, and as an adult, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two blind rescue dogs, as well as my current lovable 16-pound Aussiedoodle, Zoey. Zoey lives with me and gets along well with other dogs. For the past 2½ years, I’ve owned and operated a dog-walking and cat-care business, caring for a variety of neighborhood pets. My experience includes three 19-year-old cats, two medium and large Doodles, a Dachshund I’ve cared for since he was just 10 weeks old, and dogs of many different mixed breeds, ages, and personalities. My approach is to always let the animal lead. Both of my rescue dogs came from very difficult circumstances, and I learned how important patience, trust, and a sense of safety are. Rather than expecting an animal to immediately feel comfortable with me, I give them the time and space they need to open up on their own. With a calm, loving, and safe environment, that trust usually begins to develop naturally. I’m especially comfortable with animals who may be shy, fearful, cautious, or unsure of strangers. I take a very gentle approach, allowing them to get to know me at their own pace. Once they feel safe and comfortable, that’s when the magic unfolds! I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, whether that means sleeping in a crate at night or curling up on the bed. I live in a first-floor apartment facing a nice open green space, which makes it easy to provide frequent potty breaks and neighborhood walks. With pet-parent permission, it’s my norm to send daily updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’m also comfortable administering medications and handling foods that require refrigeration or freezing. I watch dogs who are 1-25 lbs. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet’s individual routine and needs. Just let me know what works best for you and your pet! I am currently retired so I am home most of the day/night. I live with my 16 lb non-shedding Aussie doogle dog, Zoey. I may step out to run errands, go to an appointment, other, but am otherwise at home. I allow dogs to sleep on my bed or stay in a crate at night, per pet parents wishes. If you are traveling and require a pick up after 6 pm just let me know so we can work something out. I live in an apartment on the first floor, so I have easy access to let dogs out for potty breaks as I face an open green space. I live in a safe community with plenty of sidewalks and street lighting. I often walk my dog clients in the morning when it is cool outside, so they can get adequate exercise. On rainy days, I like to occupy your pet with tug-o-war, or a treat-kong, or playing with other toys. Please feel free to bring your dog's favorite toys.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed being around all kinds of pets- from cats and dogs to farm animals. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve dreamed of having the opportunity to spend more time with them. My husband and I moved to Wilmington about 10 years ago, and for much of that time, life kept us so busy that having a pet of our own didn’t feel fair. Since I haven’t had pets of my own during this time, I’ve happily gotten my animal fix by pet sitting for friends and caring for their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they trust. I work away from home (Registered Nurse since 2016) just one day a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and love they deserve. I have a fenced in yard, a nice neighborhood for walks and no other pets to care for. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own.

Each dog gets individual attention, consistency, and a calm experience—especially for dogs that don’t do well in busy kennels. Pet care is a central part of our daily routine. I work from home and spend much of my time on the property, so your dog is rarely left alone and gets consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. I keep a flexible schedule so I can provide structured outdoor time in a safe, controlled environment, along with individual care based on each dog’s needs. I also intentionally limit the number of dogs at one time, which allows me to maintain a calm, low-stress setting and give each dog the level of attention they deserve Dogs in my care are treated like part of the family. We keep a clean, calm, and comfortable home environment, and your dog will be included in that same space and routine. I follow each dog’s needs closely—whether that’s a structured routine for feeding, exercise, or any special care—so their experience feels familiar and low-stress while you’re away.

We have a very energetic goldendoodle, that loves everyone and would love some playmates! I work not even 10 minutes from my house and am home daily on my lunch. I have a decent size fenced yard that allows the doggies to get out and run/play! If you are needing them to be crated, they absolutely can be but have an area they can run!
