About: We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! When that option isn't available,they have dedicated playtime in the yard.We have one dog that is not initially playful but takes a while to warm up but he does typically! I do require a meet and greet before committing and for pets to show proof of rabies shots,heartworm and flea and tic treatments. I work part time outside the home but my hubby works part time in the home so rarely are we both gone at the same time. I have a fenced in yard and my husband tries to walk our dog daily.Typically will hit the area walking trails. If necessary, he is willing to walk animals separately(older dog who can not walk as long or dogs who have health challenges)Our dog is aloof and takes a bit of time to adjust but usually does. We are attentive to this and supervise very closely until we see how things are going to be. We own both a large and small dog crate and can separate them if needed

About: I have had the pleasure to work with animals since the beginning of high school when I first began pet sitting. This is when I discovered my loving for caring for pets and homes when family where out of town or simply need someone to check in through out the day. As a college student pet care fits into my schedule perfectly to where I can tend to pets needs in between classes and not have any time strenuous obligations that interfere with my pet care. About: I started my pet sitting business once I graduated high school in 2012. I did brief pet sitting while in high school and that’s what made me realize I wanted to have a career that involved being around animals. I’ve watched from the age of 8 weeks old puppies to 15 year old dogs. I’ve also watched cats, ducks, and peacocks. I do currently work full time as a receptionist but I plan on quitting that to make my pet sitting business a full time gig for me. As well as owning my own pets most of my life (dogs, cats, ferret, bird, rabbits, etc.), I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-veterinary medicine. You can rest easy as your pet will be safe in my care. I follow directions well and get the details right! Why I love dog walking and sitting: I have been a dog lover since the day I was born. My first dog, Chief, helped raise me! Since then, I have owned a dog most of my life. Some have called me the "dog-whisperer". I have a pretty good perception of dogs and connect very easily with most. My last dog, Wendell, was a 150 lb. mastiff whom I adopted when he was 4.5 years old. He had never been socialized and was scared of most people, so in the six years we were together, I gained a lot of first-hand experience working through behavioral issues in a very large and strong breed. Our current dog is Lucy, a happy-go-lucky bull terrier who is deaf. She loves every living being! I’m also comfortable taking care of cats and other pets. We have a secure, fenced yard, a doggie door, and a covered back patio with doggie beds perfect for lounging in the sun or shade. Our friendly bull terrier, Lucy, will happily keep your dog company! We can easily keep your dog in a separate room while we are away from the house if you prefer. Lucy’s dad/my significant other, Pedro, also lives here and also loves animals.
