About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.

About: We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! When that option isn't available,they have dedicated playtime in the yard.We have one dog that is not initially playful but takes a while to warm up but he does typically! I do require a meet and greet before committing and for pets to show proof of rabies shots,heartworm and flea and tic treatments. I work part time outside the home but my hubby works part time in the home so rarely are we both gone at the same time. I have a fenced in yard and my husband tries to walk our dog daily.Typically will hit the area walking trails. If necessary, he is willing to walk animals separately(older dog who can not walk as long or dogs who have health challenges)Our dog is aloof and takes a bit of time to adjust but usually does. Can go to the dog park in my neighborhood right behind my house during my lunch break and when I get off at 4. must be friendly with other dogs because my dog will be present! during the summer I only work 1 day/week so very open! I will not allow dogs out without a leash if there’s no fence, and I will always listen to an owners instructions on how to best care for their fur babies. in my home, I have a fenced in backyard. I do not leave dogs home alone unless they are in a crate or kennel. There is a neighborhood dog park right behind my house ( that is typically empty ) that our dogs can play in as well.

About: Horses. Currently have 2 horses and have been around them since I was 3. Have only had my 2 since 2010. Also have 2 dogs that were originally from the Wake County Animal Center and fostered by me and have experience administering medication as needed for multiple species. About: Hi! I’m Andrew. I grew up with dogs and now care for them through Rover because I genuinely miss having one around every day. I provide a safe, clean home with a fenced yard, lots of playtime, walks, and plenty of updates while you’re away. I treat every dog like they’re my own. Side note, I do have a cat but she is an outside cat. I’m currently working 5am-1pm but I will be switching to night shifts around the end of July 2026, those shifts will be 3-11, 4-12pm. I also work right down the road so I don’t mind taking a lunch and running home to take out the pup for a potty break. I have a fenced yard, an upstairs and downstairs with a doggy gate leftover from our last dog, plenty of waste bags and dog leashes and some leftover toys. It is a very comfortable clean house.
