About: I'm an outgoing person and love to hang out with animals! I have 3 dogs of my own and really enjoy spending time with them at home or outside. I work from home, which gives me time during the day to care for and play with allll the animals! I'm available most days and have a flexible schedule :) I have toys/bones/treats, a yard, and a garage to play in, plus 3 friendly dogs who love playing! I also have a large kennel if your dog likes/needs to have one available.

“Bruce adored his time with Astrid and Buddy! They all got along so well I was worried he wouldn't want to come home! Astrid is lovely and professional. “Laura is great! Very detail oriented and caring taking care of my special needs injured dog when we need a break.”

“I am absolutely thrilled with the care Joy provided for my Zeus while I was away. From the moment we met, it was clear that she is a true animal lover, and my dog immediately warmed up to her and the other animals living in her home. The accommodations were exactly what he needed (large yard, adequate space to live), the communication was excellent throughout, with regular updates and photos that put me at ease. Zeus was happy, well-exercised, and clearly well-cared for when I returned. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Joy to anyone looking for a responsible and caring pet sitter. As long as she is available, there’s no other sitter that can beat this level of care! Thanks Joy!”

“Our little dog Casey loved being at Michele's. He got plenty of attention from her son and daughter, and her two dogs were very friendly (don't be fooled by how excited they get with people, they are good dogs) So nice to have a place for Casey that he is comfortable in. We will be using Michele again for sure.”

About: Loved every animal imaginable since I can remember! Owned everything from horses to rats, bred mini poodles for years and current Nana to 10 grandpups and slave to 2 adorable yorkies. Pets are my babies, spoiled rotten and treated better than my kids...lol I am 2 months retired from the federal government and have all the time in the world to spoil your sweet love of your life. My day and world revolves around my, and your, pet(s). Love them like my own but follow your rules. Can provide training, if requested, but am not a certified trainer.

“Tina was absolutely wonderful with my golden retriever! She sent photos daily, provided updates, and has a wonderful home on a lake (dog heaven). I highly recommend 10/10!”

“Lucy took such great care of my dog Lexi! Lexi can be shy, but she warmed up quickly to both Lucy and her sweet dog Kayah. We enjoyed them so much that we quickly rebooked! I would definitely recommend Lucy to all my friends and family!”

About: Hi there :) I am a backcountry guide in summer and an office gal in the winter. I am available as noted to help care for pets as you are away on your own adventures, available full time on weekends. After spending time learning about canine therapy in my prior work environment, I'm interested in providing that care, trust, and building those relationships with pets that need that attention throughout the day. My partner and I spent a year of work at a small dairy farm last year in Bend, OR, learning all about the responsibility and commitment it takes to raise and care for cows, goats, chickens, pigs, etc. We also have a 7 y.o. Golden Retriever of our own and I grew up with a dog that was always provided care in the same ways as family members were. I value the appreciation, love, and joy I gained through these experiences. I look forward to that element of mutual self care that is received through spending time with pets. I know it can sometimes be a difficult choice to have your pet be cared for by someone else but I can ensure your pet would be treated like my own in my care. I love to adventure outside as much as my schedule permits and am committed to the care, attention, play, security, etc that your companion needs. I find it important to be consistent with the boundaries and structure that your pup has and I look forward to learning about you and your pet! I would be caring for pet’s in client homes. In regards to building trust, I would love for there to be expectations in place from the owner as well as time to connect before hiring. I value open and honest communication and am committed to respecting your hopes, needs, and boundaries regarding care for your pet in or out of your home. I would love to connect beforehand so we can ensure we are on the same page and have created a thorough plan. I am open to hearing any feedback and suggestions that may allow for you to feel more secure in this relationship and make it feel safe to entrust the care of your loved furry friend with me. Normally, I am available for full time care Fri- Sun and otherwise work a 9 hr shift Mon-Thursday near Palmer so a lower maintenance dog may be a better fit during weekdays. I love knowing the daily structure and routines that you involve your pets in and can commit to maintaining that as a way to build trust and security with your family and pet. I have done house sitting and pet sitting many times in the past and will show respect towards your home and love having open communication throughout your time away.

About: I have experience with small to giant breed dogs. From kitten to senior cats. Additionally I have experience with administering medication via shot(for cats and dogs), pill, mousse, cream, and I have wound care experience. I have had several years of pet car from puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats. Additionally I have cared for some varieties of fish and amphibians. Animal care is my top priority. I work full time but I work 5 minutes from home allowing me to visit home every day for lunch. My work schedule is 5 days a week but with being so close to home I am able to visit the house every four hours. Additionally I have weekends off as well. I do not have a fenced yard but I do have 2 friendly dogs and a yard that I can walk your dog on a leash in. My dogs are very well trained and stay in the yard without a leash. Additionally my dogs come in the house on command, no dog will ever be unattended when under my care. My dogs get along with cats and ferrets as well. We like to joke that our orange cat trained both of our dogs.

Colleen L.
“I’ve known Colleen for over 5 years on a personal and professional level. I have hired her for both dog/house-sitting and dog walking. Colleen is great with animals and cares about them deeply! Colleen and I were co-workers in a job where we had to take care of therapy canines in the wilderness. I was always impressed with her attention and enthusiasm to make sure the canines were well fed, groomed, and loved. When working for me she’s provided my pets with lots of walks and affection (and the basic care, including remembering supplements and medication). Colleen has also respected my close relationships with my pets by providing me feedback, photos, and updates (it really helped me to know they’re being cared for and that she’s “really attentive” with them). Before I’ve departed, I’ve described what I’d wanted for their care and she did everything I could reasonably ask for. When she’s stayed at my house she has always treated my space with respect. I would strongly recommend Colleen for any pet care need, whether day-walking or live-in/house sitting. She genuinely enjoys being around animals and treats others pets with the same care and affection as she would her own.”
