I’m responsible and clean, have a great driving record, and don’t smoke/drink/drugs/vape. I’m experienced with oral, injection, and topical pet meds including heart, pain, anxiety, allergies, worms, fleas, etc. Rural setting? “Excellent! So happy we found Rover. Connie did exactly what we asked her to do and our cats were happy fellows. Having heard the horror stories about hiring someone to do something while you're away, and then coming back and finding you've been robbed and your pets are dead we were a little apprehensive about leaving our home and animals in the hands of a total stranger. But after visiting with Connie at our meet and greet I was instantly put at ease and felt confident that all would go well while we were away. And it did. Rover is our new go-to, guaranteed. And Connie will always be our first choice! Job well done Connie.”

About: I have a lifetime of love, care and experience to offer, having had animals since age 12, and I am now 58. I also volunteered for many years at the SPCA, taking care of the dogs there. I dealt with dogs of every breed, type and temperament, loving and caring for them and taking them out to walk/play, not to mention feeding and cleaning up after them. My husband Barry and I have experience with special needs dogs as well, having had a diabetic dog that required insulin shots twice a day and periodic blood sugar testing that we did for her at home. Animals are more than a passion...giving love and care to those in need is really a calling for me. My husband has supported me in this calling for the 31 years we have been married and is such great help with all the animals! We live on 5 acres that is fenced, so there is room to run and play for a dog staying with us in our home...just needs to be compatible with other dogs and cats. All but one of our dogs/cats are rescues. We have 4 dogs ranging in ages from 7 months to 16 years. We also have 4 cats, 2 inside and 2 indoor/outdoor. We have a horse as well. My schedule is usually quite flexible for the most part and I can usually accommodate any requests with a day or two of notice. Most of my work revolves around my home. We care for any of our client pets as our own! This includes dogs, cats, and horses. Can take care of pet rabbits, birds and such as well if they are an addition to your animal family.

About: My family has had animals ever since I was born! Pets can only see what we show them! We’ve had different breeds that needed different attention in different ways. I have a golden retriever named Teddy right now and he is very active but adapts easily to other pups who may want a more calming time! I am a college student online so I am available any day of the week from 8am - 10pm (unless overnight!) I don’t do walks after 8pm! In my home I have one dog to keep your pup company and a fenced back yard! I take him on frequent walks about 3/4 times a day. We have lots of dog toys here as he likes to play tug of war and fetch! If in your home, I would love to take yours on walks around the neighborhood or play outside as well!

Kathy & James M.
“Kathy has cared for our dog for several years and I feel it is such a treat for our dog to be in her care. She is extremely conscientious, responsible and nurturing. Kelli Jo & Barry G.
“The Gurley’s love animals and will give anyone’s fuzzy friend all the care and attention they need and deserve. They have given countless hours of their life to volunteering at local ASPCAs, fostering animals, and adopting special needs pets that would otherwise not have the same level of care and attention. They currently have two special needs dogs (one with hip and joint issues, one blind with diabetes) that now have the best life as they are medically provided for and pampered daily. There couldn’t be a better candidate for Rover!”

Hannah L.
“Hannah is absolutely amazing with pets! Her natural connection with animals is clear from the moment she meets them. She’s patient, gentle, and truly treats every pet like her own.
