“Hannah did amazing taking care of our girl. She stopped in a few times to feed and play with Bella. Bella unfortunately got a little sick and happened to throw up on the couch and Hanna was kind and thoughtful enough to even clean it up when she really did not need to. She was very responsive and sent so many pictures of Bella. She really eased my worries of leaving Bella for a weekend.”

“Could not ask for a better dog sitter! Responded quickly, gave thorough updates, and ensured dogs were always comfortable and cared for! Not to mention she’s a great human. Would happily and eagerly recommend to anyone in need of pet care assistance!”

About: I'm very genuine with pets, extra caring and careful especially with my seniors. I'm patient and I love teaching my pets tricks. Love making them feel safe and cared for. Hello I work full time and I'm also a full time college student. I'm available on the weekdays after 4 most of the time and on The Weeknd's whenever sometimes I work on saturdays and I get off at 12 pm. I'm very caring with my pets. I have a Frenchie so I know what it's like to be extra careful dealing with a dog that could easily get paralyzed from the legs. I have inclined stairs on my couches. and I also have a fenced yard with extra fencing around it in case of holes. I have plenty of toys to keep your fur animals safe
“Kelsey has been amazing with my cats. She’s always on time, makes sure they’re fed, and gives them lots of attention while I’m away. Joaquin and Emma absolutely love her, which says a lot. It’s such a relief knowing they’re being cared for by someone who genuinely loves animals. I would definitely recommend Kelsey to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Chanahyah was amazing! I loved seeing the pictures everyday and knowing my Gemi was truly cared for! She made sure to ask about the temperature when it got cold at night and was very attentive to Hemi’s wants and needs! Definitely recommend for drop ins or sitting!”

“Jordan is the BEST doggo sitter! We exchanged information via email, and she made (is still making) it happen for our sweet girl who would otherwise have a very long day in her crate. Jordan is quick to respond, takes her care-giving seriously, and treats our space with respect. I'd say everyone should hire her, but if they did, I would have to elbow our way back into her schedule.”

About: Every dog deserves a life full of fun but owners deserve an experience of a well exercised trained pup! Let me help you with that!! I work full-time but off after 2pm! Dogs refill my cup when the workload feels too much. I work weekends and weekdays whenever you need a walk or daily check-ins. We care for safety and patients. My 2 dogs are above the age of 8 & very experienced with other dogs. I can teach your dog the basic start up of sit, lay-down, stay, crate trained, and walking skills.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my daily routine. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need lots of playtime, attention, and consistency, to senior dogs who require a little extra patience and care. I’ve had two senior dogs who needed medication administration, frequent bathroom breaks, transportation, and close monitoring to keep them comfortable and happy. I also currently help care for my miniature dachshund, Maxwell, who is completely blind, so I understand the importance of adapting to a dog’s individual needs and creating a safe, supportive environment. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a game of fetch, extra cuddles, a consistent feeding schedule, or simply someone to keep them company, I’m happy to provide the love, attention, and care they deserve. I know that every pet is different, and I take the time to get to know their personality and routine so they feel comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to treat every pet like family and give owners peace of mind knowing their furry friend is in caring and capable hands. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a very flexible schedule. I recently relocated to spend time with my boyfriend while he serves in the Air Force, and after leaving my full-time job back home, I have plenty of availability throughout the day. This allows me to give pets my full attention rather than trying to fit them into an already busy schedule. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, feeding times, play sessions, or overnight care, I can easily adjust my day to meet your pet’s needs. I understand that life can get hectic, and my goal is to make things a little easier for pet owners by providing reliable, attentive care when they need it most. You can have peace of mind knowing your pet is receiving plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and individualized care while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood that is great for walks, and I have a fenced-in yard that allows dogs to safely spend time outdoors. My home is air-conditioned, which is especially important during the Texas summer months to ensure pets stay comfortable and cool. I also have reliable transportation, making it easy to accommodate pick-ups, drop-offs, or other pet-related needs if necessary. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities, including my own pets as well as those of family, friends, neighbors, and members of my community. This experience has taught me that every pet is different and deserves individualized care. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, senior and slowing down, or requires a little extra patience and attention, I will take the time to learn their routine and make them feel safe and comfortable. My goal is to provide a calm, loving environment where your pet feels at home while giving you peace of mind knowing they are being cared for as if they were my own.
About: I have experience in playing fetch, training, playing games, feeding, watering, snuggles & cuddles, and have an eye for safety and correct guidance to keep your baby safe.💕 I’m available in mid mornings to take them to the bathroom/feed/ water. Afternoon/evenings after 2 pm. I’m looking so forward to hearing from you and your Paws 🐾 I would first and foremost greet them in a happy way to start building a loving & trusting relationship with them. Take them outside to use the bathroom and probably sit outside with them (weather permitting). I would read the instructions if any, make sure they have had all meds/food/water. Play fetch or games if needed. Then if your baby likes tv we will watch “Paw Patrol” while brushing their hair and just chill for a bit and get to know each other.
About: I have been around animals nearly all my life, growing up with dogs and owning both cats and dogs through adulthood. I spent some time volunteering in dog rescues in past years as well. I work a regular day job Mon-Fri, so I will more than likely be available evenings for check-in visits and walking, with more available during the weekend for both. Overnight care will be situational and schedule dependent. I am able to care for your pet however needed, whether that's just a quick walk around the block or an hour or so if in-house/yard feeding, playing, medication admittance.
About: I usually just watch and pet sit for family members but I always love meeting new animals. I Absolutely love each and every kind of animal. I work full time most days of the week. My dogs are part of my family and they are treated as such.
“Chasidee is a great cat sitter! She is dependable and went above and beyond our expectations. Our cats loved her visits, getting love from her, and all the nice treats she gave. We will definitely be using Chasidee again and recommend her highly.”
“Adrianna took the worries away when I was out of town. She was very sweet, communicated very well and did exactly what I asked of her! My dogs are very high energy and she handled them so well and made sure they were worn out just like I wanted! She sent multiple pictures throughout the days and seeing those pictures put my mind at so much ease. I highly recommend Adrianna and will be using her again in the future!”

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was nine years old! I have pretty good understanding of how to best care for dogs and cats from small to big. I’ve also always been the “can you wash the dogs” person in my family, so if you need your dog to get a wash when I go see them, I can definitely do that too! Since I just graduated from college, I do have a more open day time schedule during the week, and my weekends have opened up a lot more. There will absolutely be no trouble with taking care of your doggos and cats week days from 11am-4pm and weekends from 12-5pm! At my house I do have a fenced in backyard, and a big neighborhood to walk the dogs through so they get thorough walk time! I also can crate your dog before I leave so they don’t run wild in the house, if you needed that!
About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish since I was 10. I can walk dogs, bathe dogs, feed all animals, play, and love on your special animal! I have two children who can help me and give your animal some love and attention too! I am a school teacher so during the summer my kids love to come help me feed, walk, and love on your fur babies!!! They will be well loved and taken care of while you are away! I am a teacher so my schedule is very open in the summer. I do have two school aged children that will come and help let your animal out, walk your dog, or play also! I will come to your house to let the animal outside, feed and water, bathe, or walk. I can take your pet on walks at a park also. I can board dogs in my home if they are potty trained.
About: I've always had an animal, whether it be a dog, or a cat or even a gerbil. I get that their family, and I love them all. Just moved to the area, my husband is working full time and I’m doing my masters online. I’m available any time! I have a 4 yr old Persian cream puff cat named Yeti who loves everyone, human and not! I love all animals! I have cared for Yorkies to Great Danes and every size in between. I understand the hard work it takes to make pets feel comfortable. Whatever accommodations need to be made in your home to ensure your pets feel safe & comfortable, I am happy to abide by.
About: Dogs and cats have always been part of my life. I have raised mixed breeds, collies, huskies and boston terriers. I love walking and hiking and will take my dogs with me for time in the outdoors. Your dog will get at least a 20 minute walk every day while in my care. My two Boston Terriers are friendly and love to play. I have a flexible schedule, so I have time to dote on your pets. I can let them out anytime they want to go. If I am running an errand, they will be alone for no more than two hours and will be put into a play pen or crate as needed while I am away. I treat your home with the utmost respect and care. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
