She is older, is a rescue, is a large dog, and the move was alot for her. I arranged a meet with Jerry and I was at ease right away; more importantly, Nala was at ease right away. I think dogs sense immediately if a person is a good fit or not. The day I had to leave, Jerry showed up on time (a bit early, actually, which I truly appreciated) and Nala was very excited to see him. Jerry sent many pictures and texts about how things were going over the two days, let me know when he had to leave for awhile and communicated when he was back. Nala needs alot of love and Jerry was attentive and very willing to give affection to her. The stay could not have gone better. Jerry was also very respective of my home and took good care of everything while I was gone. I highly recommend Jerry and am grateful I found him on Rover.”

What started with helping friends and neighbors has grown into a real passion for providing dependable, attentive care. I also have extensive experience with rescue dogs. I believe in letting dogs be dogs—getting to play, explore, and be part of a structured “pack” environment—while still maintaining clear boundaries and supervision at all times. I take introductions seriously and make sure each dog is comfortable before integrating them into the group. I’m crate-friendly and happy to follow your dog’s routine, whether that includes crating for rest, downtime, or safety. Each dog gets individual attention as well as safe social interaction, depending on their personality and needs. I have a large, secluded yard with natural tree lines, though it is not fenced. Because of that, dogs are never off-leash until I’m confident in their recall and comfort in the space. Until then, all outdoor time is supervised using a leash or long line so they can safely explore and burn energy. When caring for pets in your home, I keep their routine as consistent as possible and make sure they feel comfortable in their own space. At the end of the day, your dog isn’t just being watched—they’re being included, understood, and cared for as part of a well-managed, active environment.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. I was raised around them from the time I was 5 years old and started learning how to care for the animals around me. I have a Husky of my own that is my bestest friend and a big baby that is super spoiled. I would love to make your pet feel just as loved with me as they are with you! I work from home so I would be able to provide optimal care for your fur baby. I also have completed vet assistant school and have worked as a volunteer at the humane society multiple times throughout my life. I am currently working remotely so I am able to take care of your pets really whenever. I am pretty open to any schedule that you may have!! I can easily crate your dog if needed, I also have a 4 month old husky puppy to keep them company that is extremely friendly and loves to play.

About: I've taken care of different breeds of dogs up to approximately 40 lbs. This has included grooming, administering medication, walking, and light training. I have taken a training class at the Humane Society for dog care. I have also taken care of horses including grooming and training for barrel racing and showing. I have taken care of bunny rabbits up to 19 rabbits at a time. I am flexible in my availability. Although I prefer part-time, I would be willing to stay with pets or have pets stay with me full time for specific periods of time for one month intervals. In special situations, I would consider longer intervals (to be determined on a case by case basis). I have ample space to walk dogs on my nearly 3/4 acre rural property which includes grassy and wooded areas. At this time, my flexible schedule allows me to spend plenty of time devoted to provide love and care for your dog. Currently, I do not have a dog myself. However, I have had the pleasure of owning dogs in the past. Now I am enjoying caring for my 11 year old pet rabbit Zahara.

I am currently pregnant and due end of September so at the moment I’m not so comfortable with large dogs in case of them jumping on me but smaller animals for the time being would be great! I prioritize ensuring the well-being of the puppies in my care by maintaining a clean and respectful environment. I provide them with ample food, exercise, water, and playtime. Additionally, I regularly communicate with the owners through updates and photographs to monitor their puppy’s safety and happiness.
