Usually a family member will drop in to feed our cats but I really wanted someone who could stay there and maintain the cats routine. I picked Kerstin because of her great reviews and she really lived up to those reviews! She got to know each cat and sent pics and updates of what the cats did everyday which I loved! While we were gone we felt comfortable and grateful to have Kerstin there looking after things. She gets fed twice a day with a slow feeder to avoid any mishaps, and I make sure to keep her brain active with mentally stimulating games when we're not out and about. Speaking of which, we hit the dog park 3-5 times a week and go on hikes and runs at the lake. Suki's a ball of energy and loves playing fetch, so be prepared to throw that ball a few times! Now, let me be honest with you. It's highly unlikely, but on occasion, Suki might come along for a walk or a drop-in visit and hang out in my car. Don't worry, she's super chill and won't leave any fur behind. About: I’ve been responsible for caring for my families pets since I was 5 years old. My dad taught me how to teach basic commands for our dogs and I’ve educated myself in the health and wellness of my pets since getting my dog, Ruby back in 2018. Pet sitting fits into my routine as a stay at home mom/artist. Any potential RN roles in the future would be remote. My house is located on a golf course and includes one acre of land. A portion of that land is fenced directly behind my home and another portion is wide open space. We have an older dog named Esme. She is a female and spayed/microchipped. She’s a mix that came from the Humane Society in Greenville and truly the best dog I’ve ever had. She is indoor/outdoor and does not require a lead. Any guest would be able to follow her same schedule, which is to go in and out Very regularly whether on a lead or in the back fenced yard. I have plenty of space in my home if your dog is crated at night, and I also allow Esme (& yours if approved) to be on the couches in the living room. I keep them covered with regularly laundered throws Washed twice weekly and as needed.
