“Kerstin was wonderful!! She stayed in our home for a week with our 5 cats and was better than I even expected! This was my first time using Rover and meeting Kerstin. Usually a family member will drop in to feed our cats but I really wanted someone who could stay there and maintain the cats routine. I picked Kerstin because of her great reviews and she really lived up to those reviews! She got to know each cat and sent pics and updates of what the cats did everyday which I loved! While we were gone we felt comfortable and grateful to have Kerstin there looking after things. When we got home the house was clean and sanitized, she brought in the mail, the bed was made with clean sheets and she even ironed pillowcases along with some other special touches and gifts for our kids. About: My experience comes from owning my own pets (goats,chickens,ducks,dogs,cats,bunnies,guinea pigs,hamsters) and petsitting (yes, even even horses, pigs, snakes and bugs). In previous years, I fostered for countless animal rescue groups and shelters, whether it was just volunteering or fostering puppies or senior dogs in need. I currently own a pitbull/lab rescue, Cali, who I trust with few people. I completely understand the anxiety when it comes to trusting someone new to watch over your pup. This is why I prioritize communication, forming relationships with both pets and parents, sending frequent updates and paying close attention to details/routines provided to me. After each visit, you can always expect to find water bowls to be clean and full, leashes hung up and everything just as you left it except this time with a happy and tired pup! I have a dog of my own, so pet care is already built into my routine and something I look forward to everyday. I'm also available for last minute needs and do my best to be as flexible as possible as I understand plans can change :) How I care for your pet depends entirely on the instructions you give me, I strive to follow your directions as closely as possible to ensure you, your pet and myself all have a great experience that is as similar as can be to your routine with them. About: I've taken care of my friends animals when there out of town, and I am the random person who will walk up to someone and ask if I can pet there dog or cat, I love animals I have 4 cats of my own and a spotted dog I work PRN so I have plenty of availability throughout the week, and am very flexible when it comes to scheduling and working around other people's schedules and needs Even with my own friends cats I build trust with them and show them I'm a friend and they always react well towards me, with dogs I do the same thing they need to trust you so there in a comfortable environment
