About: What sets me apart is that I treat pets like family, not just a checklist. I pay close attention to their routines, personalities, comfort levels, and little quirks, whether that means giving a shy pet space, keeping a playful pet engaged, or sending updates so you feel reassured while you’re gone. I am reliable, communicative, and genuinely care about making your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home 😊 Pet sitting is my full-time work, so my days really are built around caring for animals and showing up for them consistently. I love that I get to spend my time helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their people are away. Since this is my main focus, I’m able to be thoughtful and flexible with each pet’s routine. Some pets want playtime and attention, some need a calm presence and a little patience, and some just want their meals on time and their space respected. I try to meet each pet where they are and keep their day feeling as normal and stress-free as possible. I also have my own cat, Mango, so I know how much the little details matter. I bring that same care into every visit, whether I’m checking in on cats, caring for dogs, sending updates, or just helping your pets and home feel settled while you’re gone I’m very respectful of both your pet and your home. I make sure doors, gates, windows, food, and supplies are handled carefully, and I pay attention to the little things that help prevent stress or accidents. I also like to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible and help them feel secure in their own space. Whether your pet is social, shy, playful, or more independent, I’ll meet them where they are and give them care that feels patient, gentle, and trustworthy.

About: I have grown up being surrounded by dogs! My dad always had dogs in our home. I raised my pitbull/lab mixed breed dog Nala from when I was the age of Ten until she passed away when I was 21 years old. She taught me a lot about being a pet owner as well as a person! She was my best friend🤍 I am a very active, responsible, and empathetic person! I enjoy being outdoors going on long walks, hikes, and runs! I’m always down for a furry friend to tag along :) My current work schedule is 6am to 6pm Sunday through Tuesday :) I am available throughout the week on my days off for some pet care! I am respectful of other spaces! I like to stay occupied and am willing to go on adventures with your fur baby! I am full of love to give for animals. My full time job is caregiving so I’m the kind of person to place others needs before my own, but I do prioritize my health so I’m always in tip top shape for whoever/whatever needs my attention!

About: I've taken care of all kinds of pets. For over twenty years, friends, families, business associates and everybody's been happy and i'm even animal cpr trained I am currently not working. Uh, so I have lots of time to spend with your pets playing with them. I have six acres, and i'm always outside with the dog, so never outside alone. I have a partially fenced yard. I have 6 acres, and I have trails through the property. But I never let the dogs go out by themselves. I always walk them through my property at least four times a day.

“If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible. My other role is as a delivery driver, which allows me to have a flexible availability to care for your animals. I do what it takes to be fully committed to my agreements and responsibilities. About: Know what it's like to own dogs since childhood. Tell me what they love, like, and hate. Love to bring gifts for the dog(s) anytime. Also been a great house sitter and pet sitter for my mother in the past when she visited grandkids for a week in California. As far in advance as possible since I also do crowd management seasonally but haven't worked since April 1st. P.S. A page from the daily calendar for Life Hacks encouraged me to join and I do know someone on Rover.com named Stephen. He's a dog sitter, owner, and trainer. P.P.S. Someone is moving into my condo on or before September 15th. She should have a cat. Therefore, it's best I only do pet and home sitting at the owner's place. I live in a condo on the ground level with a patio and a view of Mill Creek. I'd prefer to house and/or pet watch at your place. Someone with a cat is moving in on or by September 15th, 2026.

About: I live in Salem but drive up to Portland several times a week. So If you live in the Portland or Salem area or anywhere in between, I am happy to help you with your pet sitting needs. I grew up with cats, dogs, and chickens. My earliest pet care was at the age of 10 taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats while they were gone. In my adult life, I've had one cat and 4 dogs. My current dog is a Standard Poodle named Percy. He's a huge love! I know your pets are your heart, too. I strive to give your pets my best love and care while you're gone, just like I would want someone to give Percy! I currently work from home, so I can pop in or stay over easily. I would hope that your pet is able to walk with Percy, because he would hate to be left out of the fun. Each pet is unique and will be respected. Grouchy kitty under the bed?? I’ll say hello extra sweet and then leave them be. Tigger-like active puppy? Let’s throw some balls in the yard! The pet that thinks my lap is theirs? Good snuggles and lots of sweet talk, for sure! About: I've been taking care of pets since I was 10, varying from my own and other peoples cutie animals, walking, feeding, playing obviously! And just making sure they're all comfy and happy. I'm currently part time so anytime in the afternoon or evenings, I'm pretty flexible at the moment! Not looking to do any overnight sitting though I'm not using my own house to watch pets but whatever the owners have will work. Just paying attention to what they're doing and making sure to clean up and keep everyone happy!

About: I have been a dog, cat, and house sitter for many years for friends and acquaintances. I am open to all kinds of animal and have had experiences handling them. I work in the mornings and rarely in the afternoons so I have a lot of free time. I also have a dog and cat car seat available I have a large yard that is not fenced in but is fun to play in. My apartment is clean and very pet friendly. I am nearby lots of trails and paved walkways to take the animals on adventures. I also have a car to travel with the animal to parks. I work in the mornings and have lots of free time in the afternoon. I had a high needs animal therefore I have experienced with that along with caring for senior animals.
