He was found in a trash can covered in fleas, worms, and could barely keep his eyes open from excessive mucus. I spent every 5 minutes cleaning his eyes, treated his fleas/worms, showed him love, and trained him. He’s now an indoor kitty and he will be loved for the rest of his life! “If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible. About: Hi! I'm Shealee, and I've always had a heart for animals. I've been around animals for most of my life, and my love for caring for them eventually led me to work as an Animal Care Attendant at an animal hospital that offered hospital care, daycare, and boarding services. In that role, I cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. My responsibilities included preparing meals, taking pets on potty breaks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, supervising daycare playgroups, and caring for boarding pets while closely monitoring their health, behavior, and comfort. This experience taught me how important patience, attentiveness, and adaptability are because every pet has unique needs. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and my goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'll care for them with patience, kindness, and lots of love. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members! I am currently working two part-time jobs, and as I transition out of one of them, my schedule will mainly be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, I am free any time in the morning up until 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. As a prior ACA, your pet’s safety and comfort come first. About: My whole life I have had an abundance of animals, ranging from frogs and chickens to cats and dogs. I know about animal psychology and the care needs required for all types of animals. I'm currently a full-time college student, however I've worked out a schedule to have ample time to take care of your furry friends. Currently my free all days of the week. While at your house I will ensure your pets needs are fulfilled in all regards. Including any playtime they may need, feeding requirements, and anything else you let me know of.
About: I've owned dogs since I was 8. Almost 20 years. I've done all my own training. I've trained puppies, administered shots and medication to senior dogs and cats, and everything between. I also have knowledge with rodents, cats, horses and other farm animals. I work 3 12 hour shifts Friday through Sunday. I get home around 6:30 those days but drive in the Yamhill/McMinnville area so stopping in for a quick walk or dinner wouldn't be a problem at all. My schedule Monday through Thursday is completely wide open for walking, drop ins, or pet sitting, however I will not be able to pet sit Thursday night through Sunday. I have 5 dogs who are get along very well with other dogs once properly introduced. They range from 25 to 65 pounds, most of them are very active. I have extra kennels but I also have a designated dog room with a comfy couch that two of my five sleep on at night. I live on quarter of an acre with a fully fenced in yard.
About: I’ve been an animal person since I can remember! From dreaming of being a vet to owning dogs, cats, horses! I have 2 dogs of my own and they get along great with other dogs! About: I have been a pet caregiver since I was a very small girl. I have helped Mama's deliver babies when needed. I have even done mouth to mouth and chest compressions on new horns a few times when needed. I have a huge heart for pets and animals of all kinds. My family of pets are trained either to alert me to go potty, use a box or crate themselves. I am able to give medication as needed and bathe if needed. My children are PET TRAINED. I am at home all day for the entire week so I am able to keep a good schedule for my fury clients. I don’t have a problem with med or potty schedules. I listen to their needs. I watch for cues to hunger or need to potty. I feed and walk my pets or clients pets. When they need bathed I handle that as well. Medications in my house are no problem at all as over the years I’ve learned a lot about injectable and oral medications. I’m not the master for certain but I try my best to be your pets next best friend while I am with them.
