About: I’m the person who sees an animal and immediately greets them with the warmth of an old friend. I’ve felt a bond and (to the reluctance of my parents) an un spoken duty to protect and care for animals in need since childhood. At our house we had pets of all sizes and species and dogs were considered a part of the family. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets with the same high standard of care and attention that I would want for my own. About: Hello! My name is Astri, and I have been watching dogs and cats for over 17years. I occasionally pet sit my brothers dog Milo. He is a husky and lab mix. He is the only large size dog that I pet sit in my home because he has been in the family since he was a pup. He is more like my nephew then a pet. He is a bit anxious but A&C we’re very understanding and knew how to manage his behavior and make him feel comfortable. Our dog is on the smaller side and he was in a house with bigger dogs, but they all took their time before I left him to make him feel acclimated with his new daycare mates. I would definitely recommend these folks, they have a great professional demeanor and are very communicative and welcoming. Their space was clean and their dogs seemed very happy and healthy! About: I have been a pet parent for over twenty years. We currently have three dogs: Bacon the Boston Terrier and Dottie and Lily the Pugs, as well as our Siamese cat Petunia. In the past we have raised and cared for all types of dogs, from pit bulls to Chihuahuas, as many as six cats at once, birds including Cockatiels and Parrots, rats , hamsters, and gerbils, turtles and various reptiles, and both fresh- and saltwater fish. I run my pet care business full time from my home and from our custom Dottie's Day Trippers van. I am available any time, day or night. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! My whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. I want your pets to feel as safe as my own. I currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. I'm able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. I treat every animal as if it were my own and provide a level of care that I give my own and that I would expect from my pet care provider.

I’ve always had dogs and have taken care of family/friends/neighbors’ dogs when needed. I offer boarding, walks, a fenced in yard and socialization with my children and my own pets. About: I’ve lived with and owned dogs all my life so I’m very used to having one around. I’m willing to do any sort of task to keep your puppy happy! 🫶 I’m working a part-time job, so I have lots of time in my schedule this summer to provide care! We can discuss times that can work for both parties. If coming to my home, I have a very friendly doodle named Max to keep them company and plenty of space to run around and take on walks.
About: I have a reputation at the dog park for the dogs flocking to me as I arrive. I teach them to jump through the agility equipment and roll over. I run with them and give them plenty of scratches and hugs. Our late dog was my hiking companion along the C&O Canal (a five minute walk from our house), local segments of the Appalachian Trail, local parks and the woods and historic district of Harpers Ferry. I’m currently looking for daily opportunities to spend more time with dogs and provide the opportunities they need for exercise and human companionship. Our late dog was a shepherd/retriever mix,I regularly took her to the dog park to play with her friends or to run the short agility course I trained her to run when she was young. I am always on the lookout for poison ivy or possible tick habitats and careful to help the dog manage in potentially stressful situations along the way. I always stop at street corners and do not proceed until all cars have passed (even the ones that insist you go first) so that the dog will understand that we do not cross the street when cars are present.

“We knew the minute Heidi met us at the door for our Meet and Greet with Tux, our 13-year old Bichon-Poodle, that we had found the perfect sitter.
