They are very attentive, they do a meeting before the drop off day, they truly want to make sure my furbaby will feel welcome and safe. They have a backyard which is great for my chocolate lab to play and they have a playful dog that was perfect for Rocco. About: I have always had a pet in my house since the day I was born. Mostly dogs, but I have also had other smaller pets. I now have one 12 year old chocolate lab and one 6 year old black lab that I take care of everyday. Because of this I have experience with puppies and older dogs, along with dealing with more than one pet at a time. I currently have school from 10:30-2:15 but I am free anytime before then and after that. I also am available almost every weekend if needed. I have a fenced in yard with a doggy door to get outside and two friendly dogs to keep your pet company. I love to take my pets on walks or just play with them in the house or yard.

About: I have a reputation at the dog park for the dogs flocking to me as I arrive. I teach them to jump through the agility equipment and roll over. I run with them and give them plenty of scratches and hugs. Our late dog was my hiking companion along the C&O Canal (a five minute walk from our house), local segments of the Appalachian Trail, local parks and the woods and historic district of Harpers Ferry. Our late dog was a shepherd/retriever mix,I regularly took her to the dog park to play with her friends or to run the short agility course I trained her to run when she was young. I always stop at street corners and do not proceed until all cars have passed (even the ones that insist you go first) so that the dog will understand that we do not cross the street when cars are present.

“Leia loved being with Tara! We received pics and reports regularly on her stay which was very conforting since it was her first visit. There is a totally fenced back yard for security. I would recommend Tara to anyone considering daycare/boarding.”

“Nat &Ally are amazing, this is by far the best Rover service that I ever had and I have been using Rovers for more than 3 years. They are very attentive, they do a meeting before the drop off day, they truly want to make sure my furbaby will feel welcome and safe. They asked all the right questions, food, timing, snacks, what is he allowed or not to do and so on. They have a backyard which is great for my chocolate lab to play and they have a playful dog that was perfect for Rocco. We even got a drawing from Rocco, from one of the kids, that made me cry…Happy cry! They are all super sweet. Love their vibe and respect. I recommend them 100%. I would be looking forward to work with them more often.”
“Our dog had a great stay with Ashley! He has some anxiety and hates to be left alone, but Ashley gave him the love and attention he needed to feel at ease. She allowed us to bring him over prior to his stay to get a little more comfortable and she always had great communication, sending plenty of pictures while we were gone! “My dog Darcy had a wonderful time at Marne and John’s home. Marne sent me updates with photos that eased my anxiety about his discomfort with being away from me. After awhile he came out of his shell and cuddled with the family and played with the other dogs. I appreciate all they did to make this possible!”
