“Min and Matthew were exceptional sitters for my girl, Rani! Not only did they play with her endlessly (seriously, Rani has zero ability to self-regulate and they went with it!), they also cared for her as their own pup. When she was being finicky about eating, Min took the time to spoon feed her just like I do. Min also send so many pictures and videos, which helped me feel so at peace knowing Rani was well taken care of and loved. I will definitely be sending Rani back to Min and Matthew’s in the future…the 40 minute drive to/from our place is more than worth it!”

“Five stars for Laura! Due to a family emergency, we had to find a last minute sitter for our lab. Laura was extremely responsive and accommodating throughout the entire experience. During our pup’s stay, we received various photos and videos of him feeling at home and having fun. She clearly loves animals and makes sure your pet is loved. I would absolutely book with Laura again! Thank you Laura!”

“Our ageing dog was in amazing care with plenty of time to socialize and attention to specific care instructions. Everything went perfect. Thank you Kathryn and all of your amazing helpers. 💛👏👏”

“Renee was amazing watching our dog for the weekend! You can tell how much she loves dogs and how connected to them she is. She was communicative leading up to the stay and gave a lot of updates and pictures throughout the weekend. It was such a peace of mind knowing our dog was in good care and having a great time in Renee’s care. Highly recommend her!”

“We had such a great experience with Joanne and she took such great care of our dog even with a very last minute booking. We are so glad we found her, highly recommend!”

About: I believe in offering dog boarding at affordable rates and want my clients to book with me with the confidence that their dog will be welcomed into our family and cared for like they were our own (who we looove. A lot!). If your dog wants to join in on our active routine, they'll get a 1-1.5 mile walk in the morning, an early afternoon free-play romp in the securely fenced yard, another 1-1.5 mile walk around dinner time, and then hanging with the family in the evening. And I am happy to accommodate any of your preferences for their care! I work from home and am able to spend quality time with the dogs throughout the day. The dogs I care for fit into our family routine, which is active and close-knit. I have a fenced yard that gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play, and I have two Australian Shepherds who just love having a pack. Mine sleep in crates overnight and are fed separately. They are also happy to share their toys to help keep your dog occupied!
“Gus’s first time away from home, Gus is more of a loner! I really wanted him to go to a sitter so he could interface with some other dogs! Christina was exactly what I wanted and needed in a sitter! Gus took to her right away! She sent me pictures of Gus each day! He is more taken with people than pets! She said he was very good…but wanted to follow her and her husband everywhere! That’s my Gus! Thank you Christina and Alex! ❤️?? will definitely board again!”

“Kelly was amazing! She provided daily updates and pictures which was really awesome. 🙂 It’s such a great feeling knowing our Yoshi was well cared for while we’re away. We highly recommend Kelly and will absolutely book her again!! Thank you Kelly for taking care of our very energetic girl! ☺️”

“Our Bella recently stayed for a long weekend with Colleen and she loved it! We enjoyed getting daily videos of Bella playing with the other dogs and we felt very comfortable with her and her husband watching Bella while we were away. We just moved to the area and are happy to have found a great dog sitter for Bella! Will definitely use them again! If your dog loves to run they will definitely love this large fenced in property to play on!”

“Charity is wonderful with my pup and he loves her - he runs into her house without a backwards glance. And I love the pictures she sends. We never worry about him when he is with Charity.”

“Terri was absolutely wonderful. She let us do a meet & greet before leaving my pups which really gave me peace of mind. She had a nice & clean environment. Daily reassurance of how they have been doing along with a ton of pictures and to top it of she was so kind to gift them some new toys to keep!”

“Nat & Ally were excellent with my girl. They were very accepting when I needed to change the dates several times. They sent lots of pictures so I could see my girl and how comfortable she was, particularly during a thunderstorm which she hates. I will definitely be booking with them in the future!”

“Leia loved being with Tara! We received pics and reports regularly on her stay which was very conforting since it was her first visit. There is a totally fenced back yard for security. I would recommend Tara to anyone considering daycare/boarding.”

“Jennifer and her family did a wonderful job taking care of Buddy. She kept me informed and he had a great time. I’m not sure he wanted to come home as he had so much fun. We will definitely use her again.”

“Our dog loves Jennifer. Every time we book her to watch our dog, he gets so excited to see her. She constantly sends photos to update us on how our pup is doing. We can always rely on her to take great care of our dog.”
“Olivia was great with my lab Daisy! Daisy has exhibited separation anxiety in the past when I have been gone for a while but Olivia was very patient with her. She has 2 small dogs of her own which probably helped too. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times as well. Also she did a good job of keeping me up to date by daily sending me pictures and videos. All in all I would definitely recommend Olivia for all your dog sitting needs.”

“Emily was great and handled our 100 pound Doberman effortlessly. I never felt so comfortable going out of town. Our Doberman Zeus is cautious of new people and immediately loved Emily. She took him on long walks everyday and sent pictures. We will definitely be boarding him again with Emily.”

“Laura is excellent! She came by for two meet and greets, for the visit was always on time, and the dogs were well taken care of. She's great at filling out the care card and keeping us informed of the visits. Highly recommend, I will use again!”

About: I have always had a pet in my house since the day I was born. Mostly dogs, but I have also had other smaller pets. About: I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember and have two dogs and a cat of my own. I’m happy to check up on your pets early in the morning as well as very late depending on your needs. I make sure to be very respectful of peoples homes and try to keep everything neat and as I found it. I like to play with pets where they are comfortable in their own space.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Brunswick
Prices are estimates per day. Pricing may vary based on your search. A booking fee of 11% and taxes will apply.
About: I’m the person who sees an animal and immediately greets them with the warmth of an old friend. I’ve felt a bond and (to the reluctance of my parents) an un spoken duty to protect and care for animals in need since childhood. At our house we had pets of all sizes and species and dogs were considered a part of the family. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets with the same high standard of care and attention that I would want for my own. I am currently working from home and my schedule grants me the flexibility to accommodate last minute bookings. Feel free to reach out if you’re in a bind! I make house calls for check-ins/potty breaks ect. and I’m happy to include a walk to give your fur babe some much needed outdoor time while you’re away.
About: Hello! My name is Astri, and I have been watching dogs and cats for over 17years. I occasionally pet sit my brothers dog Milo. He is a husky and lab mix. He is the only large size dog that I pet sit in my home because he has been in the family since he was a pup. He is more like my nephew then a pet. I’m currently only willing to watch small dogs at the moment. I want to be able to provide the best care for your furry kids and be able to protect and keep them safe especially during walks. I am a stay at home mom, so this means I am available for boarding on weekends, week days, and holidays. All day 24/7 care. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood and near by walking trails. Your pup will enjoy its walks. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
“Kelli was absolutely incredible! She took my last minute request and took care of our dog like her own. She communicated and took tons of pictures for us! We will be back!!”

“Hihly recommend! Jennifer is a wonderful doggy daycare host. Our boys were excited to spend the day with her and her sweet dog "Sammy". Jennifer sent a few pics and a note to let me know how our dogs were doing.”

“Overall, I am so happy I found Alex and Christina. They were very accommodating to our pup. He is a bit anxious but A&C we’re very understanding and knew how to manage his behavior and make him feel comfortable. Our dog is on the smaller side and he was in a house with bigger dogs, but they all took their time before I left him to make him feel acclimated with his new daycare mates. I would definitely recommend these folks, they have a great professional demeanor and are very communicative and welcoming. Their space was clean and their dogs seemed very happy and healthy! This place is a great alternative to big chain kennels, we thought about Dogtopia- but they seemed so overcrowded and the dogs just seemed stressed out. Six stars for Alex and Christina! Thank you!”

“I found Colleen on Rover after Emma's other pet sitter was not available and we needed to go out of town for a short notice weekend trip, to a memorial service out of town. Emma is friendly, playful and has lots of energy, but can also be hesitant of new situations. Colleen was easy to communicate with and I was very grateful that she could fit Emma in for a daycare day to help Emma get used to things before we boarded her the following weekend. Emma had a good time running and playing on Colleen's large property, and I appreciated very much the updates and video for both daycare and the weekend stay. It was obvious that Emma was in caring and experienced hands. We would happily have Emma stay with Colleen again! Thanks so much Colleen!”

“Renee took great care of our dog at daycare! Good communication and sent pics/updates. Our fur baby came home happy and tired from a day of fun playing with Renee and her two dogs. Would recommend to anyone in need of doggie daycare and will definitely use her services again!”

About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.
About: I’ve had pets since I was a kid. I love animals, as they are the most loving and authentic little beings. I’ve always had dogs and have taken care of family/friends/neighbors’ dogs when needed. I offer boarding, walks, a fenced in yard and socialization with my children and my own pets. Your pup will be in good hands and loved! My household always has an adult home for walks or ability to go out in the yard at anytime. We pop in and out on sports practice days in the evenings and for games on the weekends. Never more than 2 hours at a time. I have a large fenced in yard, can crate your pup and can offer walks, the ability to sit or lay on furniture, socialization for my kids, and socialization for my dog and other pets
About: I have been a pet parent for over twenty years. We currently have three dogs: Bacon the Boston Terrier and Dottie and Lily the Pugs, as well as our Siamese cat Petunia. In the past we have raised and cared for all types of dogs, from pit bulls to Chihuahuas, as many as six cats at once, birds including Cockatiels and Parrots, rats , hamsters, and gerbils, turtles and various reptiles, and both fresh- and saltwater fish. I run my pet care business full time from my home and from our custom Dottie's Day Trippers van. I am available any time, day or night. Our house is set up for both dogs and cats, with a fenced yard and plenty of gates for separation as needed, and the Day Trippers van is safe and comfortable.
“Barbara was polite, thoughtful, and kind. She texted to let us know how he was doing about halfway through the appointment, and she shared a cute picture. I would definitely book with her again and certainly recommend her!”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is truly second nature to me. I’ve worked in a veterinary office for five years—both in the kennel and as a veterinary assistant—so I’m comfortable handling pets with all kinds of needs, from energetic puppies to seniors who need a gentler touch. I earned my Bachelor’s in Animal Science from Virginia Tech and my Master’s in Animal Science from Clemson University. Throughout school, I worked in research labs and on university farms, gaining hands‑on experience with many species and learning how to care for animals in a wide range of situations. I now live in Harpers Ferry with my two dogs and six chickens, and I work for an animal genetics company. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, cattle, goats, and more. I’ve raised orphaned animals, supported very sick pets, and provided long‑term care for elderly companions. My husband also has experience caring for his family’s pets and helps care for ours, so your pet will always have someone attentive nearby. At home, I currently have Hallie, a Brittany spaniel mix, and Beamer, an Aussie mix—both friendly, social pups who love having new friends around. Whether you’re local and planning a getaway or visiting the area and need a trusted sitter, I’d love to welcome your furry family member into our home and treat them like one of our own. I work from home so I am able to be with your pet all day for doggy daycare and pet sitting. I am available for drop-in visits during the day in the Harpers Ferry area. I have a large fenced in yard and extra crates! I allow animals do be on my furniture as long as that is what their owner allows. My dogs are very active so frequent walks are great!

“Charity was super responsive and sent pictures of Jax right away! My schedule was a bit in flux and Charity was very understanding and willing to work with me. Jax came home happy and tuckered out from a day of playing!”

“Dropped Boone off to spend the day prior to Lauren watching him while I’m out of town. Lauren took great care of Boone and was very attentive based on the feedback. Boone loved the backyard, playing with toys and With Zoe and Cola. The pics sent were great as well. Booking another day for Boone before his longer stay! Definitely recommend Lauren.”

About: I am a calm and patient person with 2 years of working experience at a dog daycare/hotel and a lifetime of experience at being a dog lover. I am currently available anytime, this includes weekends and holidays. Please let me know when you need me and I will promptly respond. Thank you! I have a fenced backyard with plenty of space to allow your pet to run and have fun. I also have a very friendly boxer who would love to meet your pet if you are okay with them being introduced.
About: I have a reputation at the dog park for the dogs flocking to me as I arrive. I teach them to jump through the agility equipment and roll over. I run with them and give them plenty of scratches and hugs. Our late dog was my hiking companion along the C&O Canal (a five minute walk from our house), local segments of the Appalachian Trail, local parks and the woods and historic district of Harpers Ferry. I’m currently looking for daily opportunities to spend more time with dogs and provide the opportunities they need for exercise and human companionship. I’m very keen on early morning and evening walks during the summer but available most days. Our late dog was a shepherd/retriever mix,I regularly took her to the dog park to play with her friends or to run the short agility course I trained her to run when she was young. I am always on the lookout for poison ivy or possible tick habitats and careful to help the dog manage in potentially stressful situations along the way. I always stop at street corners and do not proceed until all cars have passed (even the ones that insist you go first) so that the dog will understand that we do not cross the street when cars are present.

“Ximena is an excellent dog walker! She is incredibly reliable, always on time, and my dog absolutely adores her. I always come home to a happy and tired pup, which is exactly what I'm looking for. Highly recommend!”

“Jessica was great! We were not able to schedule a meet & greet ahead of time but she was still able to come in and walk my doggy with no issues and she made the whole process hassle free.”

About: I currently work as a caretaker at a dog daycare center, where I care for dogs with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and play styles every day. Whether your dog is super energetic, anxious, older, or just needs a little extra patience and attention, I’m more than comfortable adapting to their needs. I’ve also worked as a farmhand, helping feed and care for animals like chickens and other livestock. I’ve also been around animals my whole life and currently care for a cat, an elderly black lab, and a young hound puppy. I’m a college student hoping to earn extra cash doing something I genuinely love! I treat every animal like one of my best friends and always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Weekdays: Available after 1:30 PM for walks, drop-ins, and pet care. Weekends: Usually fully available for walks, house sitting, overnight stays, and extended care. I’m a Dog Daycare worker during the weekdays, so my services may be limited to the afternoon + evenings from Monday-Friday. With dogs, I’m very patient and comfortable with all personalities, including high-energy, excitable, or anxious dogs. I focus on calm and respectful handling and try to help very anxious dogs feel safe by giving them space, approaching slowly, and using gentle reassurance like calm voice and light petting on their side when appropriate. I pay attention to body language and always aim to build trust rather than pressure them into an interaction. If a dog is acting out, I redirect their attention and follow any training or behavior instructions provided by the owner. With cats, I’m used to reading their behavior and giving them the space or attention they want. I understand that many cats are super independent and are protective about their space, but I also enjoy working with affectionate, social cats. I have experience caring for kittens, including feeding and basic hands-on care, as well as senior cats who may need routine medication or any extra attention.
About: Our little family (Nathan, Kelly, and our kids) are raising Huck, a 1 year old Yellow Lab. We’ve trained him and are found walking around town with him often. As dog owners, we know how much it means to us when someone we trust is able to watch our dog. Now we want to give the same option to other pet owners. While most of our experience is with dogs, my wife can also cat sit and we also have had a fish in recent years. We are laid back, but also have some active hobbies, such as hiking, kayaking and traveling. We would love to hang out, walk, play, and feed your pup in the comfort of his or her home, or welcome him or her to ours. In addition to Huck, Kelly and I rescued a reactive dog with separation anxiety and had him for several years. I grew up with a mini-Pom and also helped raise a golden retriever from a puppy. We also have many friends with dogs and sit for them frequently. We are very comfortable administering oral medication but since we will be bringing the dog around our family, the dog should not be aggressive or reactive. We are at home most days and we homeschool and work from home for several days throughout the week. We are happy to work with your schedule to support your pet. We love to play with dogs. Our kids have been around dogs since they were very young and love cats as well, although we don’t have one.

About: I have 7 pets and I love each of them so dearly and I would love to spread my love to your animal! It’s incredibly important to me that your pet feels safe and loved. Typically, my pet care usually takes place in the afternoons or evening. However, I always like to keep a flexible schedule so I can make it work for your furry friend! I ensure that all pets have used the bathroom, ate an appropriate amount of food and have plenty of comfortable sleeping areas while also keeping away dangerous foods or objects.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends for years. When I purchased my own home one of the dogs I was taking a care of ended up being my dog full time due to circumstances the previous owner wasn’t anticipating. Shortly after after we adopted a pit bull from the shelter and they became best friends. A year later we tried fostering and he fit in the pack so well that we failed and adopted him 3 weeks later. I took a hiatus from Rover to acclimate the newest addition to “being a dog” he had a sad backstory and was learning to be a dog with his brothers. Now that he’s settled in and confidently part of the pack he’s always very excited to spend time with new dogs and often mimicks their behaviors trying to be like them! We’re still working on smaller dogs if in honest. But bigger dogs he seems to love to idolize. I have a lot of love to give. Both a fenced in yard and non fenced in yard and live close to a state park for walks. I do work M-F but welcome dogs all week long. Currently only accepting spayed and neutered dogs for boarding. Asking for 3 days notice but life happens and if I’m available can do same day! I’m currently working full time M-F but as long as your dog is spayed or neutered I have plenty of room for them! I have a finished basement that if they require their own space will be very easy to separate from my dogs if needed. I’m around most weekends and holidays. I have a fenced in yard, a non fenced in yard, 3 dogs to keep your dog company and a closed off finished basement if they need space.

About: I have taken care of Dogs when I was little. I worked with a Family Friend who had a Dog Sitting business and he trained me to work with different kinds of breed such as Golden Retrievers, Labs, German Shepherds, Pugs and Bulldogs. I can do in home visits or walk your paw baby. Know that they will be in good hands with me! I currently am attending high school for half the day so my afternoons and evenings are free for dog walking or sitting at any time needed for you! I have a German Shepherd, Lyra and I care for her at home, I train her in my basement, and I take her on walks. I can read a dog’s body language in order to see how they feel and address them accordingly.

“Rheana provided afternoon dog walking services for our pup. She was reliable and always provided a picture along with a details on behavior imcluding if she drank water, ate, or went potty. I would definitely recommend her for your dog care needs.”

About: I manage a busy, diverse household of my own, which means I am highly experienced, unfazed by complex routines, and comfortable handling a wide variety of personalities. My personal pack includes: Two Large Dogs & A Cat: I am fully accustomed to the distinct needs, energy levels, and feeding structures of both large dogs and cats. A Flock of 43 Chickens: Managing a large flock has given me a deep understanding of animal husbandry, strict feeding schedules, flock safety, and overall bird wellness. Hermit Crabs: I even have experience with the precise humidity, environmental, and dietary care required for exotic pocket pets! Because I handle such a diverse group of animals daily, I am incredibly observant, highly organized, and detail-oriented. I will precisely follow your feeding instructions, medication schedules, and specific care routines down to the letter. My days are structured but highly adaptive, meaning I can easily step away to accommodate last-minute, short-notice, or same-day drop-in requests for local pet parents.

“Annette is the best! I actually hesitate to leave a review because I don't want all of her spaces to fill up! Your dog will be welcomed into the fold and Annette will ask you about - and then pay attention to - their needs. She has been fostering for so long, she has literally seen everything – and can deal with everything. Teddy had a great time, and I left with new insights into her behaviors. Annette is a gem.”

“Megan took such great care of our dog! She kept us updated with photos throughout our stay and we could see how happy our pup was. Her kids were also so incredibly sweet and gentle with her! Definitely recommend and will absolutely be rebooking when we’re in need of a sitter in this area!”

“I can’t tell you how amazing Linda is. She has so much love and compassion for the animals she watches. Tons of updates and pictures during the stay. She even went above and beyond to make a trip to our veterinarian to pick up meds for our dog. I highly recommend her services”
