“Kaylee is phenomenal! Leaving our dogs is always anxiety inducing because we want to make sure they are loved the way we love them, Kaylee was able to work with us even when we needed to change up the reservation a little bit due to changes with our plans. Her communication is incredible and she responded almost immediately anytime I sent a message. She loved our dogs like they were her own and they were so happy at the end of the stay that we immediately knew anytime we are looking for someone to watch our dogs, Kaylee will be our first call. If you need someone that will go above and beyond, take care of your dogs the way you want them to be cared for and know your in the best hands ever, Kaylee is your girl!”

“Charissa and her family were wonderful with my little senior pom and all the extra monitoring that goes along with having a senior dog. 10/10 would recommend and hope Gladys can stay here again!”

Our pup was loved and cared for as if she was part of Anna’s family. We are so thankful for Anna and would recommend for others.”

“My dog has had the same sitter for 14 years, so I was concerned about how he would adapt to a new person and setting. Grace was wonderful with him. She followed his schedule and routine. When I picked him up, he was relaxed and happy. Grace kept me informed about how he was doing with messages and pictures. I will definitely use Grace again.”

“Jessica was amazing with Felix, kept me up to date on how he was doing and provided a bunch of pictures. This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous, but she made it extremely worry free. Her dogs were extremely friendly and even welcomed Felix the minute they saw each other. About: I have been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. Since 2017, I have been actively house sitting and caring for friends’, family’s, neighbors’, and other people’s pets. I have cared for a wide variety of animals, from dogs and cats to horses and other animals, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I am dependable, patient, attentive, and genuinely love getting to know each animal I care for. Whether your pet needs lots of playtime and exercise, extra patience and reassurance, medication, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you are away. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands. As a stay at home dog mom to my dog, Draco, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I am able to take them outside frequently for potty breaks, playtime, walks, and fresh air. I love having animals around and will make sure your pets get plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout the day! I am happy to follow whatever routine and preferences you have established for your pets. I understand that every animal is different, and I want to keep them as comfortable and consistent as possible while you are away. I am comfortable following crate training routines, feeding schedules, walking and potty schedules, medication instructions, and any other specific instructions you provide. I also have experience caring for neighbors’ animals and am comfortable handling different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. My goal is to follow your instructions closely and care for your pets the way you would!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life! Mostly Pits, but comfortable caring for any breed, big or small. I have experience with trained and untrained dogs, hyper puppies, and senior dogs that need a little more patience than most. I also have experience caring for dogs that suffer from Tonic-Clonic (grand mal) seizures. I can also administer medication if needed. Rover is a part time job that also doubles as experience under my belt considering i’m going to school to become a vet technician. Personally pet care has always been apart of my daily life including cat care: feeding, enrichment, cleaning all bowls and liter box daily, bonding time(cuddles), even practicing tricks! (my cat can sit, spin, and go up on her hind feet all for a treat). Dog care includes: walking, feeding, outdoor and indoor enrichment, bathing, brushing etc. Im comfortable with pets in my home and also going to the clients home. I have 3 main areas in my home that I utilize for pet care. my finished basement which includes 2 separate rooms and a full bathroom, my backyard which is fully fenced with no grass. Lastly, the attic floor which includes my bedroom. If your pet is more hyper, I’d care for them in the basement since it has more space for zoomies and playing with toys. If your furbaby is more lazy and chill, we can relax in my bedroom!
“Our Layla had a great time with Samantha and family! Communication was wonderful and I was happy to get some pictures during our time away. I would definitely recommend and plan on booking with her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brownstown
Kristin (and Jeremy) were phenomenal with our pup, Riley. Riley seemed very happy when we picked her up and clearly enjoyed her stay with Kristin greatly! Kristin was also accommodating and flexible with our schedule for Riley’s drop off and pick up. We got the cutest picture updates too! If we need care for Riley again in the future, we would love to utilize Kristin and Jeremy again! Thank you!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Brownstown home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Brownstown.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Brownstown sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
