“Derrika is FANTASTIC!!! She and her family are so incredibly friendly, kind and warm hearted. On the first day that Yogi (my doggo) was there he warmed up immediately - this was so easy for him as he knows & trusts great people. I got several lovely pictures - one of which was Yogi on her couch resting his head on her son’s legs. Yogi doesn’t do this unless he is very chill. You & your doggo will be grateful that you found her!!”

About: Hi, we are Scott and Jenn. We are experienced dog people, but we don't have a dog right now, so we are available to give your pup(s) our undivided attention. Dogs have been a central part of both our lives from growing up with dog "siblings" to fostering and adopting dogs of various breeds, ages and temperaments. Big and small, from high-energy young pups to sweet old seniors. After our Doberman passed in 2022, we made the difficult decision not to get another dog right away. Since Scott retired, we spend about six months a year traveling in our RV to visit family across the country. It has been a truly wonderful experience; however, life without dogs isn't right! Rover offers the perfect opportunity for us to enjoy spending time with dogs, while providing you peace of mind and your pets all the love and attention they deserve! My work is flexible and often portable, so I can be available just about any time. If I get your request before I go to bed, I can be at your home by 10am the next day. We treat dogs like family. A friend once told us “If reincarnation is real, I want to come back as one of your dogs”. We spend lots of time doing enrichment activities with the dog we sit for. We also really enjoy walking, so we would absolutely love to take your dog for long walks!

About: I am a lifelong animal lover located in the KC area with 8+ years of dog caregiving experience. growing up on a farm, I spent my childhood surrounded by all kinds of pets and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve trained 2 puppies of my own and have personal experience caring for sick and terminally ill dogs. I’ve never met a pet I didn’t instantly love! I currently work from home with very minimal meetings throughout the week, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to play with and care for your pups! I’m available weekdays and weekends, as well as mornings, afternoons, and nights. as a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to keep your fur babies safe, happy, and on a consistent schedule! I have a fenced in backyard for regular potty breaks and playtime. I also have 2 very friendly dogs of my own (who are both up to date on vaccinations and have passed canine aggression tests) to keep your pup company. working from home, I’m able to easily provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, neighborhood walks, and most importantly, lots of love and attention!

About: I’ve grown up raising multiple dogs in my family. Now I’ve had my own pitty for 8 years!! I love dogs and caring for them. I am well experienced with both puppies and adult dogs. You can count on me for all your pups needs! I am currently working from home so I am super flexible! I do have one professionally trained service animal (70 pound mix) in the home. We can plan a meet and greet if need be for the utmost comfortability. Bonus, I have a minivan with ample space, so trips to the dog park are no question and pick-up/drop-off for your added benefit can always be discussed.🫶🏼 I always have the utmost respect my clients homes and space. I will enter as directed, follow all instructions for care, and exit promptly after. Care including walks, meals, treats, meds, baths, snuggles etc.

About: I’m a fur mama of 4 beautiful babies! I’ve had a dog/pets since I was a toddler. I love all animals. They’re honest, loyal and good, thru and thru. I was a professional dog bather at my part time job after my long career at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. All animals love me, some take a second to warm up, but I love earning their trust. My main girl that passed last June I wear in an urn necklace right next to the charm with my own mother’s ashes. I have so many stickers on my truck of my babies and anything fur baby related. One says, abuse an animal, go to jail. I couldn’t agree more, unless there’s a harsher punishment available, then I choose that. Animals are my life. Anything I can do for any animal in need, I’m doing it. And doing it with love. With that, I give you my word. Pet care IS my life. At work. Definitely at home with our 5 fur babies, and if I see a baby in need, I jump at the chance to help. Pet care is an honor and it brings me so much happiness and joy in my heart. Honestly, I wait on them hand and foot, and I love it. Any need, any time, I’m on it! And nothing could make me happier. I live to love and care for them. And I do it well. It’s my gift.
