“Rachel was so fantastic! Great communicator and felt very comfortable with leaving my furbaby with her! Got daily updates and pictures. Will definitely be going back to her!”

“My first time using Ericka to watch my dog Toby and I'm very pleased with the job she did. She sent me pictures of Toby each day which I enjoyed receiving. Toby requires eye drops 5 times per day so it's a bit of work to care for him. Also pleased that the house was in good order when I returned. I hope to use Ericka again in the future.”

“Lillian was excellent with our two large dogs who have different needs like scared of storms/fireworks and high energy, jumpy. She was great with both of them and made sure they had what they needed all weekend, while sending us pictures and keeping us updated. We will definitely contact Lillian again in the future!”

“Sydney did an AMAZING job watching our dogs. We have one reactive dog and there was some tension in our house between dogs, plus two have medical needs. so I was so so nervous to leave them. Sydney followed all my instructions and she even watched for signs of tension, healthy play, etc. Truly above and beyond—she spent a ton of time at my house and I came back to very happy dogs. Would definitely recommend her to folks like me with dogs that require a sitter who pays extra attention and care!”

“Hannah took care of our cat and dog while we were away and everything went so smoothly. She was in touch regularly with updates and didn’t hesitate to ask any questions that she had, making for a smooth week for the pup and kitty!”

About: I've been the go-to sitter for my family for years because they know how much I love to be around animals. I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have two cats who are my whole heart, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust to care for you furry family when you are away. I am a freelance artist and am usually doing various creative projects in the Pittsburgh area. Which gives me a very flexible schedule to focus on pet care. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in, or overnight care, I can usually accommodate short notice and regular routines. I'm happy to work with your pets specific schedule to keep things consistent and stress free. I provide most of my care in the client’s home to keep pets comfortable in their own environment and maintain their usual routine. Whether it’s walking, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved. In my own home, I can only accommodate small dogs who are cat-friendly, since I have two cats of my own. Their well-being and yours are always my top priority.

“Cassie was awesome! We needed a last minute sitter, and she was super flexible with our short notice. Our pup immediately loved her too, and she was great about keeping in touch with us throughout her visit. I highly recommend!”

“We are so grateful to have had Allison stay with our Corgi while we were away for a week. Our dog has anxiety and typically becomes very stressed while we are away, but Allison stayed at our home, followed his usual routine as closely as possible, and made sure to give him some extra love. She would check-in with us daily to let us know how things were going and would ask questions if she was unsure of something. She was respectful with our home and belongings and made sure to leave things nice and tidy for our return. As someone who tends to leave a lot of instructions when it comes to staying with our dogs, I can’t recommend Allison enough! She truly made us feel comfortable that she had things under control so that we could enjoy our vacation.”

“Melissa watched my pup for a few days while we were away! He did well and was happy and healthy when we returned. She kept us informed and sent us pictures. I will definitely use her again!”

“Erica was wonderful with my 8 month old mini golden doodle who has really bad separation anxiety. She helped keep her distracted and redirected her when she was barking for me. Look forward to booking another session. :)”

Which is also great since I can do long term watches if need be I am constantly involved with the pets always and love to play with them. And always double check on specific feeding schedule or bathroom schedule. I also make sure to keep the clients house clean and tidy incase they are gone for a longer period of time.

About: Hi there! I'm a passionate dog lover who believes every pup deserves the best care and a whole lot of love. Growing up with dogs, I've developed a knack for understanding their unique personalities and needs. Whether it's going for long walks, playing fetch, or just lounging on the couch, I love spending quality time with furry friends. I'm all about positive vibes and creating a fun, safe environment for dogs to thrive. Iv recently move to Pittsburgh from Erie Pa, so I don’t have many friends nor plans. This give me plenty of free time to take care of your fur babies In my home, if I offer boarding or daycare services, I ensure that the environment is safe, clean, and comfortable for the pets. I provide them with a designated space where they can relax and have their own belongings. Regular exercise and playtime are essential, so I make sure to engage them in activities that suit their energy levels and preferences. Feeding schedules are followed according to the owner's instructions, and fresh water is always available. I also maintain open communication with the pet owners, providing regular updates on their well-being. When caring for pets in the client's home, I prioritize maintaining a routine that is familiar and consistent for the pets. I follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and any specific care needs. I spend quality time with the pets, providing companionship, playtime, and exercise. I also take care of any necessary grooming, such as brushing or bathing, if requested. Additionally, I make sure to keep the home environment clean and tidy, respecting the owner's space and belongings. In both cases, I ensure that the pets receive plenty of love, attention, and affection. I am committed to their safety, happiness, and well-being, and I strive to create a positive and nurturing environment for them to thrive in.

Emma F.
“Emma F is my next door neighbor. From the time I had my special needs terrier, Ozzie, when she was just a teen, she would help take him for walks and give exceptional care and love when she and her family would pet sit Ozzie when I traveled. Ozzie was very particular about people and really loved Emma. Now she's an adult and has loveable chocolate lab, Charlie, who she walks and takes great care of. Emma is a very attentive pet sitter for other people's dogs who often stay at her house. She carefully manages interactions between Charlie and some of these 'visiting' dogs that require closer supervision so everyone stays happy and healthy. Emma is a smart, capable, incredibly resourceful human being that any pet owner would absolutely love walking or caring for their furry family member whenever they need her services.”

Broughton pet parents share their Rover experiences
Nancy did an excellent job of caring for our 17 year old kitty for a week at our home. I am so impressed with her dedication in learning to give him his liquid oral medication twice a day. She is attentive to detail about everything that needed to be done at home while we were away. When we returned, our dear kitty seemed as happy as if we had only been gone overnight. She also looked after our turtle who we've had for over 30 years. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Tricia’s kindness and willingness to chat and send photos of my furkids was so appreciated! She went above and beyond and scooped Kriti’s litter box before she left without me asking. She followed my instructions and the furkids looked happy when I got home. Thanks Tricia!

We recently relocated to Pittsburgh and were anxious about finding someone trustworthy to care for both our home and our beloved bulldog while we were away. In the past, we always relied on family, so entrusting someone new felt daunting — until we met James. From the very beginning, James was outstanding. He was highly responsive, attentive, and immediately put us at ease. Our bulldog is famously stubborn and full of sass, but James handled her with patience, confidence, and genuine care. Throughout our time away, he kept us updated with thoughtful messages and photos, which brought us so much peace of mind. Not only did he care for our dog like she was his own, but he also treated our home with respect and professionalism. We returned to find everything exactly as we left it — happy pup, tidy home, and total peace of mind. I can’t recommend James highly enough. His service exceeded our expectations, and we are incredibly grateful to have found him through Rover. We’ll absolutely be calling on him again!

Rachelle came highly recommended by my neighbor as a back up since my regular sitter, a grad student, would be home over the holidays. I am so glad, too, because now I have another fantastic sitter for my furry friends. I was away for 7 days and Rachelle stayed with my elderly dog (needing meds and assistance) and my 3 cats (2 being rambunctious kittens), providing company and care at the highest level. My space was respected and Rachelle communicated with videos, pics, and updates everyday. Definitely recommend!

I was so impressed with Audrey's flexibility, and relaxed attitude while taking such good care of Marco and Mia in my home. When something came up that needed special attention, she was on the solution quickly, which I appreciated immensely. I willdefinitely ask her to care for M&M again.
