About: Your Dog’s Home Away From Home 🐾 Dogs have been part of my life for more than 31 years, and I’ve always had a soft spot for Yorkies. I’ve also had a German Shepherd and Border Collies, so I’m comfortable with everything from tiny personalities to high-energy working breeds. In addition to my pre-teen and teenager, my current pack keeps me on my toes: 🐶 13-year-old Yorkshire Terrier 🐶 10-year-old Australian Shepherd 🐶 1.5-year-old Golden Retriever I’m very comfortable managing different ages, energy levels, exercise needs, personalities, and the occasional doggy quirk. I work primarily from home, so your pup won’t be sitting alone all day. I’m around for potty breaks, playtime, walks, supervision, and plenty of company. My backyard is fully fenced, giving dogs a safe place to stretch their legs and enjoy some off-leash time. Most importantly, I know how much trust goes into leaving your dog with someone else. I’ll treat your pup like a member of the family while they’re here. ❤️🐾 And yes, I’m happy to care for cats, too! I grew up with a cat for 10 years and am comfortable with feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, and keeping your kitty company. I’m happy to stop by for visits and make sure they’re cared for and getting some attention. I am a realtor and primarily work from home. I have plenty of flexibility to let dogs out during the day. When my kids get home from school, the dogs get extra love! The dogs love to play in the backyard. After plenty of playtime and dinner, we like to relax and cuddle with the dogs on the couch while watching TV to wind down before bed. I have a fenced yard and three friendly dogs to keep your dog company. I feed dogs in the morning and at night. I let them out multiple times a day - the Golden loves to play and the Yorkie has a small bladder. I have a large crate if ever necessary.

I work full time in Jamestown so I would be able to assist with Jamestown pets during the week. Then I’m home on weekends so I could board during weekends. I have a fenced yard. I have three cats but if your dog is not cat friendly I would keep the dog in a separate room where they would still receive lots of attention.

Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for dogs, cats, parrots and other birds, reptiles, farm animals, and a variety of other species. My medical background allows me to recognize signs of illness or distress, provide attentive care, and feel comfortable caring for pets with medical or special needs. I do also take care of my disabled mother so there are some circumstances where I will have to deny a booking if I feel it won't work out for our situation. I also work with a veterinary dermatologist once or twice a month and I cannot do any boardings those days, but I can still do drop-in visits. **Dogs boarding must be good with cats** I treat every pet as an individual and follow their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether they need walks, playtime, cuddles, medications, or just some extra patience, I adjust to what makes them most comfortable. With my veterinary and zookeeper experience, I’m also comfortable with medical needs and a wide variety of animals. 🐾 ** I do require your pet have prior experience with cats, especially if they are med-xl dogs **
About: I have worked in the animal industry for a good bit while at an animal shelter and a doggy daycare as well. I have had animals my entire life and currently have 2 dogs of my own! I have experience training and medicating animals. I also have experience with reactive/anxious dogs. I do have a job I will be leaving soon as I am moving in 2 months so I can rearrange my schedule quite a bit to let any pups out or pop in and check on anyone’s babies. I have a pretty lenient schedule so if your pet wants to spend some time cuddling or playing in the yard it’s no problem I will clear time for them! sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
