“This was my very first time boarding coco so I was very nervous about leaving her but Heather made me and coco feel like family ! She was very attentive with pictures and keeping me updated on her progress during the stay. Coco is a diabetic so there was an extra layer of anxiety with that but again Heather was very much on top of things which allowed me to have a great weekend away without worrying. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Crystal was Absolutely Amazing with our Geddy Lee!!! We were nervous about leaving him because he is still a puppy but Crystal and her entire family treated Geddy like one of their own!!! Geddy was able to run around and play with her dog in their fenced in back yard as much as he wanted!!! We received several pictures and/or videos with comments daily!!! Crystal was very informative and answered any questions we may have had about how Geddy was doing anytime we asked!!! My Husband and I went on vacation but in our opinion so did Geddy!!! We would not hesitate to book with Crystal again in the future hoping that she will be able to watch him again!!!!”

“Rylee is amazing. Our plans with our original dog sitter fell through last minute for our week long vacation. She was a life saver. Ladybird had a healing broken nail. She there were a ton of instructions and Rylee handled it like a champ and made us feel very comfortable. Your dog will be well loved and cared for in her home. She will definitely become our go-to for any future trips.”

“Elizabeth and Philip provided the best possible care for my senior dog. I highly recommend them and would have no hesitation in trusting them with my fur baby again.”
“Courtney was awesome with Isabelle. We had a couple meet and greets before hand to make Isabelle familuar and comfortable at Courtneys house which really put me at ease since we've never left Isabelle with someone before. She had no problems giving medications to her and kept watch over her all week without issues. I will definately use her again to watch Isabelle when I need a sitter. Highly recommend!”
“Rocko had a great time, he did not want to leave Lol Lea was a great sitter, kept me updated with Rockos status each day and when I needed an extension she did not hesitate. Very grateful for her and her home Rocko will definitely be back. Thank you!!”

“Our 2 dogs had an amazing time with Megan, Axel and the family. We appreciated the attention to detail of what our dogs needed, and the pictures sent of them. They really enjoyed themselves and were wore out from playing with Axel and one another while we were away. Would highly recommend Meagan for your pet’s booking needs. We will book again forsure!”

“Renee and Gary did a great job. Goofus was not anxious on drop off at all. Renee and Gary welcomed her and made her feel at ease. I could tell by the frequent pictures that were sent. Goofus was enjoying herself Thanks for the great care and the treat you sent home. Goofus”

About: I have always had dogs inside my household growing up so I am knowledgeable in taking care of pets. I currently take care of my parents dog and even have a few other friends I dog sit for on occasion. I regularly take care of my parents dog and I regularly take him for walks, feed him on a regular schedule and ensure his water bowl is full. I love the company of any dog as I live alone and have no children. I have a clean home where a dog cannot easily access things that they should not be. I love getting out for exercise so they will have walks and play time. I also work from home and can work from any home if need be. This makes it very easy to let dogs out for potty breaks and make sure they are fed and have water.
“Easy to get along. Great communication. Stella took right to them. Michael and Elizabeth treated her like one of their own pets. Thanks for making my first Rover experience one to be modeled after.”

“Megan was such an awesome sitter! She was communicative, reassuring with photo updates, accommodating with our last-minute request & took such great care of our pups. Highly recommend and would book again!”

“Daniela was amazing! She updated us daily with pictures, kept us in the loop on activities and was always quick to respond. Our pooch came back in great spirits and may have even been a little sad to be home, hah! I can't recommend Daniela more highly, we will certainly work with her again.”

“Our dog Buckey stays with Julie and her family every time we need a sitter, has become his second home! She takes excellent care of him and is very accommodating. Don’t know what we’d do without her!”

“Lisi did a great job with my two dogs. They were very accommodating to a last minute request (day of!) and flexible with me. Received picture updates which were great. Thank you!”

“Rachel and Frank were WONDERFUL!! My Boston Terrier Sadie was treated like a family member of theirs. When I picked her up she was completely happy and healthy and they sent me updates and pics of her daily. I couldn’t have asked for a better home for her to be at and we feel blessed to have found them.”

“Jen was absolutely spectacular. I can’t say enough great things about her and how much care and attention she gave my little one. I am so glad we found her!”

“Kisha was our first cat sitter and she set the bar high! She was the gold standard for someone we wanted to take care of our cats! Kept us updated with photos and daily ongoings. Our cats were fed, happy, and clean!”

“I just returned from a two week trip and couldn't be any happier knowing Isaac took such great care of my dog (Stubby). Isaac took care of Stubby like he was his own. Stubby is normally very hard to acclimate to new people and environment but he did so very quickly at Isaac's. Wonderful place and beautiful surroundings. Isaac kept me constantly updated with pictures and video's on the daily. Stubby also had two amazing dogs to play with Bella and Peanut. I enjoyed all the video's and pictures Issac sent me of their walks and out in the backyard having fun. You can tell the passion he has for caring for animals. I also had been very behind in giving Stubby a bath because of working and tending to sick family member. But Isaac even gave Stubby a bath for me which I appreciated very much. I would highly recommend Isaac to anyone who is looking for wonderful caretaker and environment for their furry family member. I will be using Isaac again in the future.”

“Wow! Such a great experience with Jacqueline! My puppy Dewey loved his experience and I was so impressed with the great care that was provided! It is obvious that Jacqueline is truly a great dog person and the communication was top notch! Loved all the great pictures and feedback! Highly recommend!”

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
97% of sitters in Brooks can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Brooks home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Brooks.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Brooks sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
